I have a part time job so I am able to visit once to twice a day to care for any pet on a work day. I am freely available on non-working days. I play with them using their toys, feed them on their normal schedule, provide affection, keep their area clean on a daily basis, and maintain their physical fitness with plenty of walking activities.

About: I’ve been caring for dogs and cats since the age of eight, having been taught from a young age how to handle animals with both safety and responsibility. Whether with my own pets or those entrusted to me, I always go above and beyond to ensure they feel happy, healthy, and secure. My experience also includes volunteering at pet adoption centers, where I witnessed firsthand the effects of neglect—and it deeply shaped my approach to animal care. Since then, I’ve made it a personal mission to ensure every animal I encounter feels loved, respected, and well cared for, no matter how brief our time together may be. I currently work full-time in Dallas. I would be available after 5pm on the weekdays and all day Saturday and Sunday. I am flexible with my hours on the weekends. I am also available early mornings before work and can do what works best for you! I have a fenced in backyard. I also have plenty of dog bowls and toys for dogs to play with. My home is pet friendly as there aren't many places for small dogs to get trapped in a small space. My floors are hardwood if there are any accidents that may happen as well.

About: Since I can remember, dogs have been a huge part of my life. Growing up, we always had at least 3 dogs in the house and I would do everything with them from walking, training, feeding, etc. I studied canine behavior which enables me to care for and understand them better. I've been the go-to for my friends and family on questions about everything related to dogs because of how dedicated I am to learning about them. I truly believe that dogs are apart of the family [aka the pack] and would love the opportunity to welcome your fur baby into mine! Even though I work from home one day a week, I have a Belgian Malinois and we have a routine. She gets a little walk in the morning and we go play when I get home from work. Since I’ve been dog sitting for awhile now, I’m able to seamlessly transition any dog into mine and Nova’s routine. At home, I take my dog out three times a day for a morning and evening walk (or dog park visit), of course with potty breaks in between. It's important that my dog gets the exercise she needs since I live in an apartment. And I will administer the same care to your fur baby.

“Sterling was fabulous. Our normal sitter was not available at the last moment and she was available. Our dogs adore her and even the bitchie cat gave her a drive by rub. She kept us up to date and pictures of the dogs. She stayed in our home and took great care and put away our food delivery. We would book Sterling again in the near future.”

We needed a sitter last minute for our two dogs during our wedding - we wanted them to be there, but didn’t want to leave them alone when we were getting ready, dancing, etc. When she arrived I immediately felt comfortable leaving the pups with her, so I could focus on everything else. She came midday Saturday and stayed until after our wedding; she was comfortable hanging out with us while we got ready, and just making sure the dogs were taken care of. She walked them around the grounds and kept them within arms reach, if necessary, throughout the reception. And then fed them and watched TV with them as it got dark. Her presence allowed us to really enjoy our day! We’re so thankful.”
