I am a proud owner of several huskies and a Siamese cat currently. I am a teacher during the day during the school year but have evenings free and any time on the weekends. About: I’ve cared for animals my whole life, starting with cats as a kid and later helping with my mother-in-law’s Jack Russell terrier and Siberian husky, as well as my own 100 lb English Lab. Since then, I’ve looked after a mix of local pets, including a reactive Lab-Shepherd and a few energetic pit bull mixes. I’m patient, calm, and consistent, and pets trust me quickly. “I had a fairly simple set up since the cat box and both dog/cat feeders are automatic, but my tortoise needed a bit of lettuce daily and the dog needed letting out (she has potty pads to use as well). They went above and beyond, came twice a day to break up the silence and give my pets some love,I received multiple pictures and texts to keep in touch about my trip and plans. Even brought in packages left on the porch. My doggie, huge twin kittens and tortoise were all happy and seemed very at ease when I got back. Will definitely use them again and recommend.”

I currently own German Shepherds as well as two chinchillas, so I understand the importance of species-specific care, structure, enrichment, and maintaining a safe environment. I currently work full-time during the week, but I’m still able to provide dependable drop-in care and quality engagement for pets. I’m available for evening drop-in visits during the weekdays and can provide up to two visits per day on weekends. During visits, I focus on more than just feeding and potty breaks — I make sure pets receive attention, enrichment, playtime, affection, and companionship so they feel comfortable and cared for while their owners are away. I’m especially attentive to routines, behavioral cues, and making animals feel safe and relaxed in their home environment. Safety, structure, and trust are extremely important to me when caring for animals. I have experience with large breeds, reactive dogs, cats, and small animals, so I understand the importance of reading body language, respecting boundaries, and maintaining calm, controlled interactions. I follow all owner instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, medication routines, crate rotations, leash handling, and household rules. About: Have 5+ dogs? Energetic kiddos that could benefit from mental stimulation? Couch potatoes that just want love and affection? All of the above? Whatever the case may be, you can rest assured that I will give your baby(ies) the best care and attention I have to give. I worked at a sanctuary for nearly two years and had the pleasure of working with a large pack of dogs. Working and caring for 50+ dogs at a time takes a different kind of attention and patience that definitely took time to learn, but I loved every second of it. I have experience with quite the variety of different dogs. From XS to XL, newborn to senior, fearful to aggressive, anxious to energetic, I’ve seen it all. I can also give medications if necessary, do a basic groom, and basic training. I’m also very comfortable with cats. Aside from having some myself for 8 years, I love learning about a new cat and understanding its habits/personality. I truly love all animals and creatures and am very open to helping care for any other pets you may have. Currently my only job is to be a dog & cat mom so my schedule is very flexible. Aside from recurring appointments that I attend, I’m open to working with what works best for you. I can work with any form of care that you give your babies. Every pet is unique and I can definitely switch gears depending on their personality and if they have specific needs.
