About: I’ve cared for animals my whole life, starting with cats as a kid and later helping with my mother-in-law’s Jack Russell terrier and Siberian husky, as well as my own 100 lb English Lab. During my five years as a rural letter carrier, I earned the nickname "the dog whisperer" for my ability to befriend even wary farm dogs on my routes. Since then, I’ve looked after a mix of local pets, including a reactive Lab-Shepherd and a few energetic pit bull mixes. I’m patient, calm, and consistent, and pets trust me quickly. About: I have been caring for all different types and sizes of animals since a very young age. I used to work at a veterinary/daycare/boarding/grooming job and now work as a vet assistant! I have also pet sit for friends, family, even neighbors! I am very confident in caring for multiple pets at a time, feeding, administering medications, training, bathing, even socializing pets! I do also have experience with horses as well as other barn animals. I do have my own horse so I am able to care for livestock as well! I currently work full time as a veterinary assistant but am able to care for pets Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Sundays, and Saturdays after 3pm! My schedule may vary sometimes but that is typically what my weeks look like! I do live in a 2 bedroom house with a yard yard. I do have 3 dogs and 3 cats but I do have a crate and am able to crate your pet if needed!

“Karly came to my house once a day for 4 days to feed my 2 cats, the fish in my aquarium, my 14 hens and one wild hen turkey who recently moved in with the chickens. I also asked if she’d collect eggs. She had never fed chickens so I gave her directions for feeding. And collecting eggs. Oh - and she cleaned the cat box. So the cats hid each day she was here. Never saw them once. Seems like everything went smoothly. I think as a Rover pet sitter she went above and beyond the call of duty. I am very thankful she was here taking care of my critters. I hope she’s willing to return one day.”

I currently work full-time during the week, but I’m still able to provide dependable drop-in care and quality engagement for pets. I’m available for evening drop-in visits during the weekdays and can provide up to two visits per day on weekends. During visits, I focus on more than just feeding and potty breaks — I make sure pets receive attention, enrichment, playtime, affection, and companionship so they feel comfortable and cared for while their owners are away. I’m especially attentive to routines, behavioral cues, and making animals feel safe and relaxed in their home environment. About: Hello there! My name is Nicole and I have recently graduated from the Victoria Stilwell Academy as a Certified Dog Trainer. I would love to contribute to the enrichment of your dog's life with positivity and love! I have a 4.5 year old Golden Bernese that requires daily, 30 minutes walks minimum, free-running, and mental stimulation games like food puzzles and kong wobblers/stuffers. I also have a 19 year old DSH tuxedo kitty who requires special care. She has kidney failure and lymphoma and we work hard to keep her happy and comfortable with a renal maintenance diet, subcutaneous fluids, steroids, and whole lotta love. Whichever safety, prevention, and enrichment needs your dog/cat needs, I'm your person! I will use the knowledge and skills I've gained through the Victoria Stilwell Academy for Dog Trainers to alleviate any stress they may feel.
