“Ruth was hired to walk my Chihuahua, Nyla, on a regular basis while I am at work. I liked her so much in our meet & greet that I cancelled the other appointments I had set to look for the right dog walker. She is on time consistently, sends great updates and my dog LOVES HER! I fully trust her with access to the house and with my pup. Will be using her consistently moving forward.”

“Miriah did a great job looking after our cats while we were away on vacation, cleaning the litter box with the pine pellet system we use, cleaning the water fountain and changing the filters. Our cats are scared of people and hide, but she tried to find them and take pictures for us every time she went, and gave us updates. Thanks Miriah!”

“Amber goes above and beyond with our kitties. I appreciate all she does when she visits for drop-ins, and it’s such a relief having someone I can trust while we’re away.”
“Thank you so much for taking great care of the kids while we are on vacation. It's so comforting to know we can enjoy ourselves and the critters are all taken care of! Highly Recommend Jennifer”

“Bradley was very patient with our dog and with me. I was very nervous because we never had to use a dog walker before. I sent him frequent text messages and he was always very understanding.”

“Highly recommend Ralinda! She went above and beyond and put my mind at ease while I was away. I will definitely be using her for all my pet needs in the future.”

“Maryana has been a blessing to have for Pixee! I travel a lot for work and am so grateful to have found the perfect sitter for my baby girl 💗 Maryana even showed me some new techniques for giving medicine and she gave Pixee her wet food mixed with water like a soup, and she LOVES it. I never thought to do this before. Maryana has been so great, and she’s even taught me how to be a better cat mom! 10/10!!”

About: I'm a dedicated stay-at-home dog mom who loves caring for pups of all ages, from playful puppies to sweet senior dogs. I am trained in pet first aid and CPR so your furry family member will always be in safe hands. Whether it's belly rubs, walks or cuddle time, I treat every dog like I would my own. I am currently a stay at home dog mom so my schedule is pretty flexible. A natural part of my daily routine revolves around feeding schedules, potty breaks, walks, playtime and lots of cuddles. I will care for pets in my home as if they were my own! They will enjoy a safe environment with regular potty breaks, walks and play time.
About: I've had dogs all my life and currently I have a beautiful little dog who is my life. I like to take good care of them, give them healthy food and take them for walks. My experience with other dogs is beautiful. I have a job from 2 pm onwards, Monday through Friday. I could take care of and walk your dog every morning and have them sleep on the weekends. I would love to board with you and take them for walks in all the parks and areas. I have a fence in my yard and a beautiful little dog for company and a new family with your pet. I make healthy dog food and snacks and they will have special care.
About: I’ve had a dog since I was a little kid. I also have watched dogs for my friends. My two oldest daughters head off to college this August. My youngest daughter, she will be 12 in September, loves all animals, but especially dogs. I am looking for a way to have more dogs in our house for my daughter to play with. We have one dog, Marley. However, my mom lives next door and she has two dogs, Daisy and Zoe. They visit often. But when we are watching other dogs, they will not visit. Our goal is to provide a fun, safe environment for your pup while you are away. I am able to watch your fury family member any weekend during the school year or June/July over the summer. I am not available: July 6-9 After July 30, I am back at school. I am available to watch your fury family member Friday (after 3:30) until Sunday evening (anytime.) I have a pool for them to swim in and and fully fenced in area around my house. I have about 40 acres we can take leashed walks on if you would like. We do have a few cows and a horse on the extended acreage. My lab/beagle mix loves to play with dogs. She plays well with both small and large dogs.
“If you need pet care, I highly recommend Emely! She takes her job seriously and really will care for your pets like they are her own. I trust her completely in my home and with my babies. (Thank you, Emely!!)”

About: I understand that some pets can be shy or anxious, and I pride myself on being a patient and gentle caretaker who can help them feel comfortable and secure. I have a lot of experience with a variety of animals, and I know how to read body language to ensure a pet is happy and calm. I can provide drop-in visits in your own home, ensuring your pet remains in their familiar surroundings. I use to be a volunteer with a no-kill animal shelter so I am prepared for your pet's unique needs." I am currently working part time and have some downtime on my hands and I would love spending time with and taking care of your fur babies! I do have a home with a yard but it is not fenced so I’m not comfortable with keeping animals at my house at this time.

About: I myself am a pet owner to a sweet dog that does unfortunately have issues with fear aggression when meeting new people. Which is why I'm willing to meet any animal to see if things can work out. I'm not easily scared by dogs and I understand how hard it can be to find someone that is willing to meet my sweet boy. He is also a notorious leash puller so I'm comfortable with any kind of set up you have for potty breaks (he uses a head harness). I'm not here to judge your pet I'm here to make sure they are well taken care of. I'm also very comfortable with making sure they keep up with their training (I can firmly give them commands) while also making sure they get the love that they need. I work for the school board so my summer is super open right now, I might take a few vacations but my schedule will always reflect my availability as soon as I know it. I will always communicate the behavior I see in animals and keep pet parents well updated. If a pet parent needs me to crate their pet after a visit or a walk I'm comfortable with doing so and I even have tricks to do so!
“Mary was very good with our two kitties that she had never even met before and she took this job very last minute. She was extremely thorough with letting me know exactly what was happening and made me feel completely at ease even though we have never met in person and she had never met the cats. I definitely recommend her if you want to feel like your pets are taken care of and you don't have to worry! Very caring and kind and you can tell she really cares about the animals she's taking care of.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Auburndale
Sheryl was truly amazing! From the very beginning, she was professional, kind, compassionate, and incredibly accommodating. I reached out with a last-minute request to care for my dog, Cathy, and she went above and beyond to make sure everything would go smoothly. Before my trip, Sheryl took the time to come for a meet-and-greet so Cathy could get to know her and feel comfortable. That meant so much to me. Cathy connected with her immediately, she was happy, playful, and completely at ease. Seeing how quickly my dog trusted Sheryl gave me so much peace of mind. Throughout my trip, Sheryl was exceptional. She was always on time, followed Cathy’s strict schedule perfectly, and after every visit she sent detailed updates and adorable photos. Those updates reassured me every single day and allowed me to relax knowing Cathy was safe, happy, and receiving so much love and attention. Sheryl’s genuine love for animals shines through in everything she does. She has such a warm, positive, and caring personality, and it was obvious that she treated Cathy as if she were her own. Finding someone you can trust with your pet is priceless, and I am so grateful I found her. I wholeheartedly recommend Sheryl to anyone looking for a dependable, trustworthy, and truly compassionate pet sitter. She exceeded every expectation, and I will absolutely be asking her to care for Cathy again in the future!

What a great experience with Rover !! 😍 Aubrey is the Best ! Friendly professional and very accountable ❤️She came to our home for a meet and greet and I immediately knew our “Jack” was in good and loving care in our absence! We really appreciated what a great job Shawnee, did.Figgy was content when we got home. We could tell she was well taken care of. Thank you for the great pics you shared. It gives us such peace, we can go off and she will be loved and played with. Also, thank you for following the instruction that were left.

We had a great experience with our sitter! She took wonderful care of our dog, Remi, and kept us updated throughout each visit. It was clear she made an effort to make him feel comfortable and gave him attention, not just the basics. Remi can be a bit particular, but he seemed happy and relaxed after each visit, which says a lot! The communication was great, and I appreciated how easy everything felt, on time, professional, and caring. I’d definitely recommend her to anyone looking for someone dependable and trustworthy to care for their pup. Thanks again for taking such good care of Remi!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
