I'm a business owner and primarily work from home these days, so decided to adopt a little 12lb spaniel mix I fell in love with. As I have learned over the years, once you have one pup, what's one more in our daily routine! However instead of adopting more to leave travel options open, I opted to pet sit again, as our little guy loves to socialize. There is nothing better than being surrounded by dogs who love life! Your pet(s) will always have someone to interact with and play with throughout the day. Pups that need to go out a lot are welcome, even in the middle of the night, as I already have one with a tiny bladder.

Safety, trust & environment

Although I live in a clean and organized home for my own sanity, it is very pet friendly as I had to puppy proof my home. Also have 2 pet-friendly guest rooms should you/they prefer them to sleep in a crate or need a quiet space, and/or they can enjoy the run of the house if you/they choose to. In addition, have a privately fenced pet friendly backyard they can enjoy, which I always accompany them 100% of the time they are outside. I always crate pets if I must run out but never gone more than 2 hours at a time, if at all. If you are comfortable with me walking your dog… I do so every morning and evening within our tree line street gated community. Most pups will love all the squirrels and places to sniff and leave pee-mail. Prefer your pets to stay in their own environment? I do offer drop in visits 1 to 8 times a day. One time to ongoing repeat business welcome! Overnight pet sitting in your home or mine can be arranged as well as house sitting too. I have 30 years experience in property management managing high end single family homes as a licensed real estate broker with multiple brokerages and offices through out Central Florida. Your home is in good hands should you need extra tasks completed while you are away. If you are anything like I am, I have a hard time leaving my pet(s) with anyone worrying about this and that… so I’m more than happy to provide concierge services that meet your pet’s needs, along with video calls and/or photo updates during their visit with us. I treat every animal as my own and guarantee they will feel very loved and entertained during their stay. Please reach out if you have questions and/or would like to meet.

Information Sheryl Lynn W. would like to know about your pet

All guests need to be up to date on vaccinations and grooming. Please advise how they are with other humans and pets, however know I prefer to only take on one client in my home at a time, with multiple pets from a single household ok. I ask owners to let me know of any particular routine, feeding schedule, or task they need me to perform. Does your dog sleep in a crate or separate room, or do you let them sleep in your room on the floor, in a crate or on the bed? Are they allowed on the furniture in your home? For example, I have a small dog, so I personally do not let others walk him when I am away, and require a leash on potty breaks, so please do share your concerns so I can make sure your preferred instructions are clear. I ask for all medical history, meds you need administered, vet info and emergency contact. Please bring anything you believe will make your dog's stay more comfortable like their food, dishes, bed, toys, treats, shampoo, etc... I do have an XL crate on sight our guests are free to use. I do prefer dogs to have a fitted harness available if I will be walking them outside of a fenced yard. ***I may be able to provide services for many different pet types and situations not included on my profile, so please reach out and we can always create a custom rate for what you need before you book anything.***

A typical day

Routines can vary depending on the dog, but our typical routine is to wake up, go right outside to potty and come in to clean up (including daily eye booger and ear cleanings) and serve breakfast. My pup and I usually take our morning walk 30 minutes later. Our guests are welcome to walk with us, sit in an enclosed doggie carriage for a ride or stay home, whatever you/they prefer. Then we come home and relax a bit before our morning training/play time. Dogs usually will take a late morning nap next to me while I get some work done and at lunch time, I take them outside for some yard play and soak up some sun, if they enjoy that and the weather is nice. Some prefer to sit on our screened in porch or lay on the paver patio or chaise with me under an umbrella. Other pups tend to want to discover lizards and torment squirrels before playing ball or picking up a toy. It's fun to see who does what. Afternoons are pretty much lazy naps under my feet in my office, until around 4pm where they usually get their second wind. Then I allow them to get crazy to burn some energy by playing ball, tug a war, or random seasonal activities to let them be dogs. Dinner time is then followed by our evening walk. Right before bedtime we find most dogs have a little more energy to burn (zoomies) and then I let them out for one last potty break before any final nightly routines (like teeth brushing). *Smaller and elderly dogs may need more potty breaks during the day and night, which I always tend to.

High Quality & Experienced Pet Care

Pet care experience

Hi, I’m Sheryl Lynn! I’ve always shared my home with dogs—mostly very spoiled spaniels—so caring for pups is second nature to me. After our youngest crossed the rainbow bridge, I found comfort in pet sitting for friends and family. It renewed my love for having paws around, and with my businesses now running smoothly on their own, I’m fortunate to offer pet sitting to help support our local shelters. I have hands-on experience with dogs at every life stage, including puppies, energetic adults, seniors, and pets with special needs—whether deaf, blind, anxious, or managing medical conditions like ear infections, seizures, or Cushing’s. I also specialize in caring for dogs who are too spoiled or stressed for a kennel. In my home, pets are truly family and love caring for pets who's paw-rents feel the same way. Sheryl was truly amazing! From the very beginning, she was professional, kind, compassionate, and incredibly accommodating. I reached out with a last-minute request to care for my dog, Cathy, and she went above and beyond to make sure everything would go smoothly. Before my trip, Sheryl took the time to come for a meet-and-greet so Cathy could get to know her and feel comfortable. That meant so much to me. Cathy connected with her immediately, she was happy, playful, and completely at ease. Seeing how quickly my dog trusted Sheryl gave me so much peace of mind. Throughout my trip, Sheryl was exceptional. She was always on time, followed Cathy’s strict schedule perfectly, and after every visit she sent detailed updates and adorable photos. Those updates reassured me every single day and allowed me to relax knowing Cathy was safe, happy, and receiving so much love and attention. Sheryl’s genuine love for animals shines through in everything she does. She has such a warm, positive, and caring personality, and it was obvious that she treated Cathy as if she were her own. Finding someone you can trust with your pet is priceless, and I am so grateful I found her. I wholeheartedly recommend Sheryl to anyone looking for a dependable, trustworthy, and truly compassionate pet sitter. She exceeded every expectation, and I will absolutely be asking her to care for Cathy again in the future!

Sheryl was amazing!!! I would definitely feel confident leaving my precious Oreo with her again. I was so nervous about leaving Oreo with anyone. Sheryl called me and immediately made me feel comfortable. I dropped Oreo off and felt that I made the right decision. Sheryl sent me updates every day with pictures. When I picked Oreo up, he was happy. I would definitely ask Sheryl to watch my Oreo again if I go out of town. She was wonderful ❤️
