“Excellent service! Very kind and gentle! Even encouraged our scaredy cat to come out and get some attention. Gave wonderful updates, and was very consistent with check ins. Thank you Victoria.”

“This was the 2nd time Ashley has watched our cats while we were out of town, and she is absolutely amazing! She takes such great care of our cats and always keeps us updated. I highly recommend her!”

About: I’ve been taking care of a family member's two goldendoodles for about four years, including the younger one when she was a puppy. The older one had a major leg surgery and couldn’t walk or jump for a couple of months, so I helped her get around and gave her meds. She’s also a super picky eater, so I’d grill chicken and steam veggies for her and spoon-feed her until she started eating on her own again. I’ve definitely dealt with the messy stuff too (dried poop on a fluffy butt is no joke). I’ve also watched an older cockapoo and my old boss’s energetic pit mix. I grew up with a cat, so I know my way around a litter box. I’m patient, I’ll stick to your pet’s routine, and I genuinely love spending time with animals!! My schedule is wide open right now, so I’m available most days and times, including most weekends and last-minute requests. I can fit around your pet’s routine, whether that’s early morning walks, midday potty breaks, specific feeding times, or meds. I prefer to care for your pets in your home, so they get to stay comfy in their own space. I’ll stick to your routine for food, meds, and walks, and I’m careful about keeping doors closed and dogs on a leash. I’ll send you pictures and updates while you’re away, and if anything seems off with your pet, I’ll be very communicative and proactive.
About: I’ve helped care for my parents’ dog since I was young and now have two dogs of my own. I’m very comfortable with feeding, walking, grooming, and giving meds if needed. I understand how important it is to keep pets happy, safe, and loved. I treat every dog like part of the family. I’m home every day since I’m not working or in school right now. Your pets will always have someone around to keep them company and make sure they’re safe. I live in a first-floor apartment with lots of green grass nearby. There are many safe areas where dogs can walk and explore together. I also have two friendly dogs who love making new friends. I can crate your dog if needed and will follow any special care instructions you provide. Because of their playful nature, my home may not be the best fit for senior dogs or dogs with mobility issues. My priority is to make sure every dog feels safe and comfortable. *A meet-and-greet is required to ensure safety and a good fit for both you and my dogs.

About: My heart has always had paw prints on it! ❤️🐾 I often say I'm living the dream, because getting to spend my time caring for animals truly is a dream come true for me. And most certainly a blessing. If you need an attentive caregiver to watch over your pets, than look no further! My goal is always to bond and make a friendly connection to become their new buddy!..Someone they trust and feel at ease with. Also to give you the confidence that your babies are in the most excellent, capable, dedicated, loving care and have complete peace of mind! *My experience goes well beyond basic feeding and walks. I’ve cared for puppies, energetic young dogs, senior pets, large breeds, cats, multiple-pet households, animals requiring extra patience or special attention. I’m comfortable administering medications, following detailed, even complicated care instructions, and nursing injured or recovering animals. So, you can feel reassured that all of your pet’s individual needs will be carefully followed. *I’ve also worked in farm settings with horses, goats, chickens, ducks, other farm animals, livestlock, exotic pets and more! Over the years, I’ve helped animals that were lost, injured, neglected, or simply needed someone to care, including personally rescuing and nursing animals back to health. I've organized and held fundraisers for non-profits, volunteered much of my time at shelters and behavioral therapy/training spaces, as well as fostered many cats and dogs until their forever home is found. I'm committed to ongoing training and education, but the best teachers are the animals themselves. Pet care is a treasured natural part of my daily life and something I prioritize and make plenty of time for. My schedule is built around providing dependable, attentive care for all animals entrusted to me. I plan my days carefully around each pet’s established routine, including feeding times, walks, potty breaks, medications, playtime, companionship, and any special instructions their family provides. I understand how important consistency can be, especially for senior pets, puppies, pets taking medication, or animals who may feel anxious when their family is away. I believe pets are most comfortable when their familiar routines are kept as consistent as possible. That includes feeding timing, snacks, fresh water, walks and potty breaks, medications, playtime, exercise. Unlimited affection and love as well. I pay close attention to behavior, appetite, energy level, and anything that seems unusual. Safety is always a priority, including securely checking doors, gates, leashes, and the home before I leave. I also provide updates and photos so you can relax knowing how your pets are doing while you’re away. Just as importantly, I understand that I’m a guest in your home. I respect your property, belongings, privacy, and personal space, clean up after myself and your pets, and strive to leave your home just as you left it—or better. My goal is for you to return to happy, well-cared-for pets and a home that has been treated with the same care and respect I would want for my own.

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Asbury
Ariana took excellent care of our two adult cats, ensuring they were fed, watered, and had their litter changed on a regular schedule. The cats adored her, and seemed very content when we returned home. Ariana once again did immaculately for our cats, and we'd love to hire her again, if the opportunity arose!

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.
