“ina was absolutely wonderful with my cat, Percy! She provided fantastic updates and consistent communication throughout her entire time sitting, which gave me total peace of mind. Tina is incredibly reliable, punctual, and attentive. It’s clear she genuinely cares about the pets she watches. I will absolutely be hiring her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a stellar pet sitter!”

“Fallon was great and took care of our cat while we traveled. She gave us updates related to him, and also helped with packages and trash while we were gone. Definitely recommend her and will re book with her in the future!”
About: I grew up with always having at least one dog and several cats at the same time, so I am used to a little pet chaos! Currently a cat mom to 3 cats, and am a self-proclaimed cat whisperer. I know it can be anxious leaving your pet at home while you are away, and promise to take care of your pets as if they are my own. I currently work Mondays thru Thursdays 9-5 but am very flexible before or after work to care for your pets. I do work from home on Fridays, and am available most weekends. My 3 cats are indoor only cats, so I am very aware and vigilant of keeping pets safe in their environments. Since they are indoor only, I have gotten very creative with activities to keep cats stimulated and active.
“Viviana was excellent. This was our first experience using the rover app and she went above and beyond our expectations. We can not recommend her enough to take care of your fur babies and make them feel comfortable while you are away.”

“Emily took great care of my boy over a holiday week while I was away! Leading up to my vacation, my cat was experiencing a feline acne breakout on his chin that required a two-step medication treatment (cleansing wipe and topical ointment) that Emily made sure to administer at each visit. When I got home his chin was looking much better than when I left! She was also comfortable giving him his allergy medicine (oral pill). Of course, she handled the routine food, water, and litter box scoop as well. I know my boy was in wonderful hands while I was away. Thank you, Emily!”

“Sierra is warm, kind and dependable. She took great care of my babies while I was away. She was very consistent with sending photos and detailed updates. I will definitely be reaching out the next time I am out of town.”

“Susie was great! This was my first experience with Rover. Because of Susie's responsiveness and professionalism, I felt super at ease knowing my pets were well taken care of. I'll definitely book with her again.”

About: Hello! My name is Amberly. If you are looking for someone to love on your pets, look no further. Even though I devoted my education to assisting with the health and care of people, my first love has always truly been with animals. I simply can't imagine life without them! I have successfully fostered multiple dogs through Caitlyn's Vine of Bravery Dog Rescue and Lifeline Animal Shelter. I also have experience with walking dogs and have received many positive reviews including being extra caring! I truly believe a life without animals is not a life at all! Any animal in my care will be treated like my own child. If you need someone to care for your pet while you work or vacation, please give me a try! I work a flexible schedule as I partially work from home running my own business and pick up at the hospital from time to time I live in a townhome with a senior chihuahua and a small fenced in patio. My neighborhood is dog friendly and is nice for walks. Dogs would be with hanging out with me at home or hanging out at a fun park somewhere. When I have to briefly leave, I do prefer either crating or leaving them in my room with water and pads.
About: I have taken care of my own pets for a long time now, including senior pets, puppies, dogs from a few months old to 16 years old. I have house sit before for dogs that were not my own, and I enjoyed every second of it! I currently go to Georgia State University. I am doing summer classes so I have one two classes, one online and one in person on Monday and Wednesday. I also have Friday-Sunday off. I can take care of pets whenever I’m free. For your and my own pets, I will feed them, play with them, walk them, bathe them, brush their teeth, clip their nails, and I can pet them till their hearts desire.
“Diamond was amazing! She communicated very well. She was on time and extremely friendly. We didn't worry about leaving her with a key to get in our house. It's very important to feel comfortable when leaving your home and pet. She blew us away. Will definitely use her services again! Thank you, Diamond.”

“I want to thank Hailey so much for dropping in on my dog last min for two days while I left for a last min trip. She came on time, very professional and sweet. She walked my dog and feed him. Even cleaned up his mess from him ripping up his bed. Definitely would book again with her.”

“Jackie did an excellent job of caring for our 6 year old Blue Heeler while we were out of town. She made sure that Cody ate well, spent a lot of time playing with him, and even found time to do some training. It was evident that she had really bonded with him and that he looked forward to seeing her on each visit. She kept us up to date with detailed reports and great pictures. When we got back we could see that Cody was happy and well cared for.”

About: Since I was young, I’ve held a love for animals of all shapes and sizes! In high school, I began doing small pet care jobs for friends and family including walking & pet sitting. I also have a year of experience working as a dog kennel attendant & dog washer, so I’ve worked with dogs of all ages, sizes, and energy levels! I’m currently working a part-time remote job, however the hours are completely flexible so I can be available for your pets needs whenever the need arises. I currently live in a condo in a very dog friendly neighborhood! I work remotely so I can be home with your pet almost 24/7. The neighborhood offered plenty of space for safe walks, but I also live near a dog park and walking trail for dogs that might want some more stimulation! Plus, I’ve always got toys and treats on hand and all pets are allowed on couches and beds if the owner allows it! I can’t wait to take care of your furry friends. :)

Amazing!!! Jackie took amazing care of my deaf boxer and gave him some much needed training! I also left my little anxious puppy home for the first time and she made sure she was safe and happy the whole time! We had a lot of things going on at our house while she was there, construction workers coming in and out, our heat was broken, etc. I was very nervous but Jackie handled it with ease and was great about communicating everything! Will 100% be booking with her whenever I am out of town. Thank you so much!!

Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Arrowind. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
