About: I’ve shared my life with dogs for over 25 years and have been pet sitting for nearly as long. I have over 10 years of experience working in veterinary clinics and have ample experience with administering medications of all kinds—your fur baby’s needs are my top priority! Goose and I lead a very active lifestyle—we walk multiple times daily and spend our weekends out enjoying all that Tahoe has to offer. We always welcome adventure buddies and would love it if your pup wants to be our +1 on our next adventure! I currently work from home 3 days a week. For Tahoe Donner residents, I can take your pup for a midday stroll during the work week (M, T, F). For all other Truckee folks I am available in the evenings on the days listed above and any time on the weekends. When I am spending time with your pup their safety and happiness is my number one priority. Unless a group walk is requested, they will receive one-on-one attention and affection. About: Hi, I'm Sam! I was born and raised in Portland, Oregon and have been back and forth from there and the Tahoe area for about three years now. This time around, I moved to Truckee in November and plan to be here long term. I have owned pets my entire life and have much experience with other people's pets as well. At home, I raised my current dog Margo from a puppy, tended to my previous cats and dogs when they got old, and have had experience fostering and then later adopting an aggressive and unpredictable rescue dog. I started walking and pet sitting my neighbor's dogs at the age of 12. I have house/pet sat for cats and dogs of every kind, including old dogs who have accidents in the house and skittish dogs who are afraid of people. I also have experience administering insulin shots to cats. In college, I continued my dog walking and house/pet sitting, and this past summer 2024, I spent almost every day pet/house sitting. Most recently, I adopted a bunny, so I've been caring for her and now have experience with small animals as well. I love animals more than anything in this world and am so excited to meet all the adorable pets in this area. I am currently working at Sugar Bowl Ski Resort, however I do not know what job I will have after this one ends in the spring, so I will keep you posted! I am able to provide any service the pet might need, including medications, baths, any special routines or extra attention, I am able to do and accommodate it all. I can also take your pets on many fun outings, short or long, depending on their needs!

About: Hi there, I’m Olivia and can’t wait to meet your fur family! My parents had a sweet spot for rescues and adopted dogs from shelters throughout my childhood. I have experience caring for a variety of breeds/sizes, ages, personalities, and levels of health. Over the past 15 years I have also sat for family, friends, and neighbors. I work remotely for a local company so my availability is pretty flexible and will allow me to be with your pup(s) as often as needed. Safety is my top priority. They will be leashed for potty breaks if there isn’t a fenced yard at home and on walks, especially while exploring busy trails and beaches.

About: I have 2 Crested Geckos, and have lived with 4 different friends who owned cats. Within the last year I have walked coworkers dogs countless times and have dog-sat for them as well. I have pet-sat for coworkers in their homes from one night, up to one month. I have also volunteered at the Truckee Humane Society for about a year as well. I have flexible but consistent work hours that allow me to create a routine to take care of your pets. I love going for walks with dogs as well as hanging out and giving both dogs and cats the pets they deserve. I care for pets based off of what they need and what they ask of me. I listen to body language to understand what they need. I am content giving pets their space, or giving them all of the pets they want. I also pay extra attention to bathroom cues to limit accidents within the house.

About: As a pet lover and dog mom myself, your pets are my priority and I love getting to meet new dog and cat friends! I am comfortable with pets in all shapes and sizes, and have extensive experience with anxious animals, as my own dog is quite the shy guy. I live in Alpine Meadows and work at Palisades Tahoe, and am happy to give your pets the care they deserve on my off days and before/after work! I work at Palisades Tahoe as a ski instructor and live in the Donner Lake area. I typically work Friday-Sunday with evenings off. I can be flexible if needed! My dog is super friendly and he gets taken out every 3-5 hours if possible. I try to walk him every day, as well as letting him socialize with other pups!

About: I've had a dog since I was born and truly believe they are better than people. I've had a cockapoo, a couple of king charles cavaliers, a cocker spaniel, a doberman, and my current terrier mix I rescued, Paisley. I take care of dogs as if they are my own, and there's nothing I love more than coming home to my own pup. I'll send you photos and update texts while you're gone so you know your pup is doing great! Your dog will enjoy outdoor adventures, hikes, and couch time with plenty of tummy scratches. In all honesty, I'm offering my services just because I love dogs so much, and being an owner myself, know all too well the nervousness that comes with leaving your "child" behind when you go out of town. I promise I will bring that sense of ease to you that I too look for when I have to leave my dog behind. My schedule is fairly flexible, so just let me know what your pup needs, and we can figure out if we are a good match! I will make sure your dog is as comfortable as if they were in their own home. I can give your dog his/her own bedroom, or they can snuggle with me and my pup.

About: I have had dogs all of my life! I volunteered at the humane society as a foster care provider and found homes for many dogs during this time. I worked with a veterinarian for the past ten years and provided care for his dogs. I am very active and can also run with your dog if you have a high energy breed such as a husky. I will care for your dogs as if they were my own and can also groom, massage, administer medications, recommend holistic nutritional changes, and provide any additional services that your furry companion may need. I can bring your pup to obedience classes, vet visits, or grooming appointments! I will also work with dogs that have issues such as socialization issues, manner problems, or anything else we may discuss. I currently work from home, so I am able to watch the furry friends all day. They can have a private space in the home, in the yard, or join the pack. I can customize preferences to include a hike, trail run, short walks, pick-up/drop off at your pets location, light grooming, etc. In my home I have three dogs, and they can be separate or play together if preferred. i have a large fenced yard. There is also a separate studio with a kennel if needed. If visiting a clients home, I will adjust to clients preferences and instructions.

About: I've always had pets (dogs and cats) growing up that I've trained and taken care. I also have my own pup who is now 14. My dog has had special needs over the years- so I'm always very attentive to her as well as my surroundings, and I bring this to any animal I care for. I've professionally walked and cared for other dogs, and am seeking to do so again because I enjoy it, and it compliments my day job as a software engineer well! I work remotely and am currently between jobs, so I have a flexible schedule. I exercise every day, so I’m able to take animals out during that time, or am always happy to get an extra walk in. I own a home that I rent out, so I understand the trust and respect needed for this process. I am flexible and happy to adapt to your pets needs and schedule, and will care for them as if they were my own.
