I will do stroller walks if your pet is permitted, will go outside play catch with my daughter, and lay with us to watch a movie I have a 1.5 acre fenced in. My friends and family have always come to me for help and advice regarding their fur babies. I’ve taken care of my own and others loves for over 34 years. I’m looking forward to helping you and your family! With what I do for a living I have lots of down time where I am able to care my time with the fur babies . I will follow exactly how you want your fur babies to be taken care of in your home. Over the years I have learned that it is stressful to move your pet when you vacation or have to go for work. The babies seem to do much better in their normal environment . I will also provide the extra love, kisses and belly rubs . I do need to mention that I will watch your home and take care of the fur babies needs but I do not sleep at my clients homes.

About: I recently moved to Poughkeepsie from the city so now the adventure I provide is different than before. I believe in building trust between the owners a well as their pets. I like to take the dogs on adventures from a simple walk , the dog park and even car rides. I treat every animal under my care as part of the family and with my experience, the dogs are brought back. Using Rover and meeting new families allows my dogs to have companion for a few days as well. My family and I learn about different breeds as well. As a family, we do this together because the animals become part of our life. Every dog is a new experience to have fun with and enjoy. Sometimes it is hard to leave one's dog with someone they have not meet and I have always made it a point to provide a sense of security and trust. I recently went back to work but my family loves dogs and we provide a second home where the dogs and owners are comfortable with us. This is not a me thing only. My family are part of the care of the dogs. The family takes care of our own dogs so why not share in the same responsibility for someone's else dog. I have a fenced yard and I try my best to keep the same schedule in my house as the dogs have in their own home.

About: I am an Artist who works from home a lot and would love some extra furry companionship :) I understand that being in a new place with new people can feel stressful for the first time. We can go on long walks together at least twice a day and then they can sleep where ever they are most comfortable. I have a flexible schedule most days, so I can work around any animal care that may be needed. I love having furry companions around. We will play fetch, drink lots of water, go for walks and probably just hangout and read together. Right now I am working freelance so I can arrange my schedule as needed to make animal accomodations. I love to start my day with animal smiles. First I like to survey the areas of the home to make sure there isn't anything dangerous that has been mistakenly left out that might cause harm. And then we can establish a place for the pet items so they can start to feel more comfortable in a new environment. I also make sure the water bowl is always filled.

About: If you have an athletic or active dog, we are the hosts for you!!! Trips to parks (on and off leash), running the trails, and swimming in a Lake will happen every day. If your dog is less active, we can bring our activity level to where your dog is most happy and comfortable. I have a very open schedule. Usually I go to the park go with my family who enjoy the day doing things outside the house. If you have a last minute appointment or you need anything on the same day I do take them I have a very open schedule one works in the morning and the other one works in the afternoon so your pet will never be alone. I had pets before they pass away. We used to love our pets so much. We took CPR classes and emergency classes for pets just in case.
