“Wow! Jan and Paul are the dynamic duo of house/ pet-sitting! My partner and I were nervous leaving our two hyper dogs and testy cat for a long weekend, but we had no reason to be. Paul was so attentive and caring, and Jan was so communicative and kind. We are so lucky to have found these two wonderful caregivers. We already booked our second trip and can rest easy knowing our girls will be in great hands. Thank you J + P! See you soon <3”

About: I've taken care of dogs pretty regularly, from chihuahuas to great danes. I work well with senior dogs just as well as energetic young dogs :) I'm an online graduate student with an internship in Vancouver, but my schedule is pretty flexible. I'm almost always open on weekends as well. Whatever fits you needs. I have a fenced in yard at home, and food is usually separated from my other pets' food and typical routines to limit interaction. At a clients home, I work hard to keep the home pristine and keep an eye on your pets wherever they go.
About: I’ve been pet/housesitting for the majority of my life! Growing up I was relied on heavily by many. I was consistently approached by family, friends, and neighbors. There were quite a few people that had me as their go-to whenever they needed the help and I made a strong connection with. I always get excited when people ask me to petsit for them! On top of that, I’ve done a lot of volunteer work at animal shelters, including dog walking, cleaning, and playing. I’m currently a SPED Educational Assistant, 8am-3:30pm every weekday at a school in Portland. Anytime around that I am free and willing, but I understand if that is too large a gap in the days as far as house sitting goes. Otherwise, my weekends are entirely free, as well as my summer break! I will accommodate to whatever needs must be met for your pet! I want to make sure your fur baby is completely safe, comfortable and happy with me. Every animal is different and I love to make space for them and learn about what they like, dislike, need, as well as their quirks and personalities. Connection and trust is very important to me.
“Aislynn was so wonderful. This is our second setter through Rover and have had nothing but great experiences. It was great knowing Millie and Oliver was in safe hands during our day. I would for sure rebook with her again.”

“Jennifer and Jeff were very welcoming of Zappa for his weekend stay. We were nervous how Zappa would do staying in a new place. Turns out he loved the farm! Jennifer sent us updates throughout the weekend to reassure us he was adapting very well. We will definitely be back!! Thank you 😊”

About: Hi there! My name is Kasy. I love all dogs and have plenty of experience. I’ve grown up with dogs, horses and chickens. I have been training animals for nearly 7 years now. My best friend is my dog Riley. She loves meeting other dogs as well. I’m not only experienced with only dogs but farm animals too. I am the biggest animal lover and would love to meet your pets. If you have any questions please make sure to reach out. Thanks ! I am currently working part time at a school. After 2:30 I am free to play with furry friends. In about 3 weeks my schedule will change into full availability with the exception of saturday and sunday mornings. I have a fenced yard, dog crates and beds for my pups. They rarely use the crates and are used to roaming free at our house and the fenced dog park
“Kat is amazing, she took great care of the beasts and my home. She updates regularly without me needing to check in, which is great cuz I worry a bit but also don’t want to be a bother. One of my dogs has pretty bad separation anxiety so coming home to see both dogs calm and happy with her was fantastic! 10 outta 10, will be using again.”

“Kelley was excellent with our boy Maverick! I was really nervous leaving him and she made us feel at ease. She sent pictures everyday and he was all smiles and having so much fun. I highly recommend her and we will definitely be using her again in the future 😊”

“James did a great job pet and house sitting for us while we were away for the holidays. He communicated clearly and responded quickly. Our dogs were taken care of and happy! Our house was also very tidy and clean when we returned. James is responsible and it helped us feel at ease while we were away. Thanks again, James!”

“Extremely appreciative and pleased with Ingrid's house sitting! She promptly responded to all messages, provided reassuring check-ins, and carefully looked after our neurotic (reactive) Mini Aussie.”

“Frank was a fantastic pet and house sitter! Our dog was very happy and well taken care of,, and our house was neat and tidy too. I would highly recommend Frank!”

“Brooklyn did a fantastic job watching our two morkies over a weekend period. We especially appreciated her proactive style of communication, her calm when dealing with any issues, and of course all the pictures of our pups throughout the day while we were away. Would definitely recommend her services and book with her again. Thanks Brooklyn!”

“Ryan was fabulous!!! I was in a pinch trying to find a sitter at the last minute. He was flexible, caring and kept me updated with my dog’s care. I would definitely use Ryan again in the future!”

“Karen is everything you want when leaving an anxious weimaraner alone with a pet sitter for the first time. She’s communicative, sending updates by text and video to keep the anxious pet parents at ease. She’s compassionate, understanding Poppy’s need to speak out loud and sleep really close. She’s calming for all of us. We are confident we have found the perfect dog sitter.”

“Maria was so wonderful with our two dogs and we’re incredibly thankful for her flexibility with sitting in our new home as we were mid-move. Our boys were very well taken care of and we’re really excited to book her again in the future!”

“We highly recommend Sparkle! She thoughtfully communicated with us throughout our trip and sent us adorable photos of our cats daily. This made leaving them for the first time slightly less daunting. She took great care of our house and our two kitties. We came home to a clean house and two healthy, happy cats. We are so fortunate to have found her and will request on all of our future vacations.”

“I honestly have no words to describe how at ease we were with Jamie staying at our house for 6 days with our 2 dogs and 2 cats. We have a 1 year old cattle dog who can be very mischievous and is a lot to handle and she honestly was everything I could have asked for and more. Our puppy had an accident on the couch day 1 of her stay and she let me know right away and I came back to a couch that honestly looked and smelled better than it did when we left. She had no problem cleaning up the mess and really went above and beyond. Fantastic communication all around. She was very thorough and impressed me the first day I met her for a meet and greet as she brought a note pad and was taking notes as we were introducing her to our home and pets. Our cats are very shy and they both took to her right away. We also had a dog taking medication and she had no problem keeping on schedule with that. When she had questions she did not hesitate to reach out which I appreciate! The house was left spotless and she cleaned and put away bedding and all towels she used. Honestly way above and beyond. She is a gem and anyone would be lucky to secure her as a sitter, I will absolutely use her again and would honestly prefer to only use her! Thank you Jamie for your care and love while we were away, I know our fur babies can be a lot, you exceeded expectations! ❤️”
