About: I’ve had many dogs over the years since I was little. Friends and family who’ve i’ve helped with their dogs on walks or sitting ! I’m currently seeking long term work in something more enjoyable for me. Would love to help with animals in the mean time and am available! I can easily follow any instructions or steps needed for their pets as well as make sure they have a good time with a companion.
About: I've taken care of dogs pretty regularly, from chihuahuas to great danes. I work well with senior dogs just as well as energetic young dogs :) I'm an online graduate student with an internship in Vancouver, but my schedule is pretty flexible. I'm almost always open on weekends as well. Whatever fits you needs. I have a fenced in yard at home, and food is usually separated from my other pets' food and typical routines to limit interaction. At a clients home, I work hard to keep the home pristine and keep an eye on your pets wherever they go.
“Extremely appreciative and pleased with Ingrid's house sitting! She promptly responded to all messages, provided reassuring check-ins, and carefully looked after our neurotic (reactive) Mini Aussie.”

“Veronica was great! We hired her to watch our dogs while we attended a concern. Our dogs took a liking to her right away and she sent us updates when we were at the concert. Thank you Veronica!”

About: Hi, I’m Kelley! I’m a professional dog trainer with over 10 years of hands-on experience working with dogs of all breeds, ages, and sizes. My journey started early. I began working at a veterinary office at just 15 years old as a kennel technician and assistant, where I built a strong foundation in animal care and behavior. From there, I expanded into training and spent 5 years in Hawaii working as a private contracted dog trainer, gaining extensive experience with a wide range of dogs and client needs. I mainly train basic to advanced obedience and service dog training but also have experience with training hunting/bird dogs and protection work. In 2020, I founded my own dog training business in Oregon, where I now provide customized, results-driven training programs. I work with dogs weekly through private sessions, as well as structured board-and-train programs. I also travel locally and to surrounding areas to support clients and ensure training carries over into real-life environments. I recently moved up to the WA side in Kalama. My property is fully set up with dogs in mind. I have a secure, fully fenced yard and dedicated training areas equipped with a wide variety of professional training tools. Dogs in my care receive structured training, enrichment, and appropriate socialization based on their individual temperament, goals, and needs. Whether your dog needs basic obedience, behavior modification, or a safe and structured place to stay while you’re away, I provide a reliable, experienced, and attentive approach to their care. I treat every dog like my own, focusing on building confidence, clear communication, and lasting results. Pet care is a central part of my daily routine since I run my dog training business full-time. My days are structured around the dogs in my care, including scheduled training sessions, exercise, enrichment, and rest time. Each dog follows a consistent routine that’s tailored to their individual needs-this can include structured walks, obedience training, socialization (when appropriate), and downtime to ensure they’re not overstimulated. Because I work from home and on my property, I’m able to provide constant supervision and hands-on care throughout the day. On a weekly basis, I rotate between private training sessions, board-and-train dogs, and client visits, so I’m always actively working with dogs in a structured and intentional way. This setup allows me to give each dog consistent attention, routine, and progress while they’re in my care. Care varies depending on the service, but all pets receive structured, attentive, and individualized care. In my home, dogs follow a consistent daily routine that includes exercise, training, enrichment, and rest. Because of my background as a professional trainer, I incorporate structure and clear communication into everything I do—whether that’s reinforcing good manners, working on specific training goals, or simply maintaining a calm, balanced environment. Dogs have access to a fully fenced yard for safe outdoor time and are always supervised. Socialization is thoughtfully managed based on each dog’s temperament and comfort level. For board-and-train dogs, their stay includes daily hands-on training sessions tailored to their specific goals, along with structured routines that help build reliability and confidence. In clients’ homes, I aim to keep pets as close to their normal routine as possible to reduce stress. I follow all care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, exercise, medications if needed, and any household rules the dog is used to. I also reinforce any training the owner is working on to maintain consistency. Across all services, my priority is safety, clear communication, and making sure each dog feels secure, understood, and well cared for.

About: I’ve been pet/housesitting for the majority of my life! Growing up I was relied on heavily by many. I was consistently approached by family, friends, and neighbors. There were quite a few people that had me as their go-to whenever they needed the help and I made a strong connection with. I always get excited when people ask me to petsit for them! On top of that, I’ve done a lot of volunteer work at animal shelters, including dog walking, cleaning, and playing. I’m currently a SPED Educational Assistant, 8am-3:30pm every weekday at a school in Portland. Anytime around that I am free and willing, but I understand if that is too large a gap in the days as far as house sitting goes. Otherwise, my weekends are entirely free, as well as my summer break! I will accommodate to whatever needs must be met for your pet! I want to make sure your fur baby is completely safe, comfortable and happy with me. Every animal is different and I love to make space for them and learn about what they like, dislike, need, as well as their quirks and personalities. Connection and trust is very important to me.
“Our skittish rescue dog and cat had a super successful and relaxing weekend with Madisen. I really appreciated her great communication with me and her care for my pets. We came home to a house just as we left it, and our dog was so chill that I could tell she had been well-loved while we were away. I won't hesitate to use Madisen again.”

About: I have had dogs for my entire life! I currently have 2 dogs. Both are Rhodesian Ridgebacks. Trinity is our senior girl 13 yrs old, and Shira who is 2. I have had the most experience with big dogs (mainly German Shepherds and now Rhodesian Ridgebacks). I have done Schutzhund with my shepherds and have done dog shows and obedience shows locally with my Ridgebacks. Our dogs and the ones I take care of are always my priority. I treat all dogs like they are mine so they get all the love, snuggles, and attention they want. I have a safe and secure home and yard. We have a 3/4 acre completely fenced back yard fenced to 6 feet high. We are in the country and have lots of bunnies for them to chase. We also have a creek on our property that in good weather would be fun for the dogs to play in. I have some agility equipment that I will break out when the weather is nice and let dogs go through those or show them how. For rainy days we have toys and dog puzzles to keep their minds active. We also have a shop that I can put up agility equipment when the weather is lousy and cold so they can chase each other around in there if they are getting antsy. I also do daily obedience with my own dog and any other dog that is with me and wants to join in. While most of my experience has been with big dogs, I will work with any style and breed of dog after I meet them and we get to know each other. I also have experience working with packs of dogs, as at one time, I had a large pack of both German Shepherds, and then Ridgebacks. I also have a lot of experience working with puppies and can help with basic training. I seem to have a knack to help dogs who normally don’t eat or are very nervous when being left with someone else. I have had many boarders who’s moms and dads said were picky eaters or wouldn’t eat for a couple of days and somehow with me they eat well, don’t miss meals, and many times expand their diets. If you have a dog that takes medication I can, and have, administered meds that their parents bring. But I will only administer prescription meds written by a licensed veterinarian to the specific dog with explicit instructions. Bottom line, I don’t just “board” dogs. They are part of the family and treated as such until you get back. They Are talked to, interacted with by my dogs and myself and my husband all day long. They aren’t just put in a room or left outside to fend for themselves. They are truly being loved and cared for from the minute they are dropped off until the minute you pick them up. My husband and I are retired so I am full time at home now. So I can board 7 days a week. And overnight care at my house will be my specialty as you never have to worry about your dog being left for hours during the day or night. I have a very “dog friendly” home. That being said my house is clean and fairly tidy. I clean daily to make sure the dogs are in the best environment. My goal is to have your dog go home with you better than when they came. If they are full of mud from playing outside in the rain they will be washed and dried before they go home. If their nails are too long I will cut them (if the dog allows). If they need to be brushed, I will brush them and often give them a massage…this is especially good for the nervous dogs. If they are scared and feel nervous they will be returned happy and calm from being pampered while you were away. Our dogs are allowed on the furniture including our bed and can play inside or outside with my dogs who are very friendly to other dogs and people. I don’t crate any of my dogs and don’t require dogs that stay with me to be crated during the day or night. If you prefer your dog to be crated at night I will follow your instructions if you bring the crate that they are used to. Many of the dogs that I board sleep in our bed but they also have very plush beds throughout our home that they can sleep on overnight or during the day for naps. Wherever they feel more comfortable sleeping is fine with me even if they don’t want to be in our room with us and our dogs.
“As a Rover sitter myself, I have high standards when it comes to the care of my own pup. Kelsey is fantastic. She's patient with my giant puppy and communicates well. Love the photos and "report card" she provides. ”

In your home, I treat your space with respect and maintain a clean, calm environment. I provide regular updates and photos so you always feel informed and at ease while you’re away.
“Lauryn was a great sitter. We had a little hiccup with scheduling but she communicated the whole time, found her own coverage which I really respected, and in the end it all worked out. She sent tons of videos and pictures of the boys and left the house clean. I would absolutely hire her again!”

About: Hi there! My name is Kasy. I love all dogs and have plenty of experience. I’ve grown up with dogs, horses and chickens. I have been training animals for nearly 7 years now. My best friend is my dog Riley. She loves meeting other dogs as well. I’m not only experienced with only dogs but horses too. I have successfully trained 3 horses in my life and have taught 2 people to ride as well. I used to baby sit puppies from a local pet store at night so the owner wouldn’t have to stay. There would be approximately 3 or 4 dogs at a time. I would love to meet your dog ! I am looking for a way to make extra cash and this is perfect because I am the biggest animal lover. If you have any questions please make sure to reach out. Thanks ! I am currently working part time at a school. After 2:30 I am free to play with furry friends. In about 3 weeks my schedule will change into full availability with the exception of saturday and sunday mornings. I have a fenced yard, dog crates and beds for my pups. They rarely use the crates and are used to roaming free at our house and the fenced dog park
“Brooklyn did a fantastic job watching our two morkies over a weekend period. We especially appreciated her proactive style of communication, her calm when dealing with any issues, and of course all the pictures of our pups throughout the day while we were away. Would definitely recommend her services and book with her again. Thanks Brooklyn!”

“Marie was amazing!!! I am such a helicopter fur mama but I was quickly assured they were in great hands. Thorough communication, lovely updates, and my pups + kitty were as happy as can be when I came home. Will definitely be reaching out again in the future! Thank you so much Marie! 🙌 Moose, Evie, & Mazzy miss you already! ☺️🐾”
