“Jennifer and Jeff were very welcoming of Zappa for his weekend stay. We were nervous how Zappa would do staying in a new place. Turns out he loved the farm! Jennifer sent us updates throughout the weekend to reassure us he was adapting very well. We will definitely be back!! Thank you 😊”

“My head tells me to gatekeep but my heart tells me to do the right thing and that is rave about this duo with as many characters allotted on Rover reviews. I was blown away by the level of communication and care both Jan and Paul provided. Together they are truly the ultimate, the most exceptional dog sitters my husband and I have ever come across- and I genuinely mean that. During my entire time on the east coast I could enjoy my trip knowing Hank was being attended to in the way our sweet, sometimes anxious boy needs. We came home to not only a happy, healthy, anxiety-free boy but to a clean home! Paul went above and beyond with treating our dog and our home with the utmost care and respect, he really treated both as if they were his own. Jan thoughtfully addressed any question or concern I had while I was away and overall just excels in professionalism, communication, and care. I cannot say enough good things. I am honestly so grateful for these two and will absolutely be requesting them again for house/dog sitting (so long as they don’t forget about us when they become in extremely high demand after this review!). Thank you so very much Jan and Paul!! Hank misses his new bud already!”

“Maureen was a total trooper! My house was undergoing construction and she took it in stride. While my kitties were mostly not around, I knew they were in great hands with Maureen. The house was spotless when I returned. The kitties were safe and healthy. I will book with Maureen again!”

“Extremely appreciative and pleased with Ingrid's house sitting! She promptly responded to all messages, provided reassuring check-ins, and carefully looked after our neurotic (reactive) Mini Aussie.”

“Lyla did a great job: she was willing to come meet the pups beforehand, showed up on time to house/dog sit, sent photos and updates, and left the house and dogs clean and happy. We hope to use Lyla for future dog care needs and highly recommend her to others.”

About: For 15 years I ran a successful dog walking business outside of Boston, and have now returned to the northwest to help my mother age in place. I'm missing my animal friends, and am ready to help with yours! I'm experienced and mature, conscientious, reliable and careful, with the same high expectations for myself that you have. I understand the importance of good relationships with anyone you bring into your pet's life - both for your pet and for you - and building relationships and community is what I most loved about my dog walking business. My schedule is quite flexible! Being retired definitely opens up my availability, and I aim to be as accommodating and helpful as possible to meet your pet's needs. Safety and privacy are important priorities, and I am always respectful of both. I have years of experience accessing clients' homes and caring for their pets - more than 250 pets over the years - without any problems. I am professional and experienced, with a proven record.
About: I have had dogs for my entire life! I currently have 2 dogs. Both are Rhodesian Ridgebacks. Trinity is our senior girl 13 yrs old, and Shira who is 2. I have had the most experience with big dogs (mainly German Shepherds and now Rhodesian Ridgebacks). I have done Schutzhund with my shepherds and have done dog shows and obedience shows locally with my Ridgebacks. Our dogs and the ones I take care of are always my priority. I treat all dogs like they are mine so they get all the love, snuggles, and attention they want. I have a safe and secure home and yard. We have a 3/4 acre completely fenced back yard fenced to 6 feet high. We are in the country and have lots of bunnies for them to chase. We also have a creek on our property that in good weather would be fun for the dogs to play in. I have some agility equipment that I will break out when the weather is nice and let dogs go through those or show them how. For rainy days we have toys and dog puzzles to keep their minds active. We also have a shop that I can put up agility equipment when the weather is lousy and cold so they can chase each other around in there if they are getting antsy. I also do daily obedience with my own dog and any other dog that is with me and wants to join in. While most of my experience has been with big dogs, I will work with any style and breed of dog after I meet them and we get to know each other. I also have experience working with packs of dogs, as at one time, I had a large pack of both German Shepherds, and then Ridgebacks. I also have a lot of experience working with puppies and can help with basic training. I seem to have a knack to help dogs who normally don’t eat or are very nervous when being left with someone else. I have had many boarders who’s moms and dads said were picky eaters or wouldn’t eat for a couple of days and somehow with me they eat well, don’t miss meals, and many times expand their diets. If you have a dog that takes medication I can, and have, administered meds that their parents bring. But I will only administer prescription meds written by a licensed veterinarian to the specific dog with explicit instructions. Bottom line, I don’t just “board” dogs. They are part of the family and treated as such until you get back. They Are talked to, interacted with by my dogs and myself and my husband all day long. They aren’t just put in a room or left outside to fend for themselves. They are truly being loved and cared for from the minute they are dropped off until the minute you pick them up. My husband and I are retired so I am full time at home now. So I can board 7 days a week. And overnight care at my house will be my specialty as you never have to worry about your dog being left for hours during the day or night. I have a very “dog friendly” home. That being said my house is clean and fairly tidy. I clean daily to make sure the dogs are in the best environment. My goal is to have your dog go home with you better than when they came. If they are full of mud from playing outside in the rain they will be washed and dried before they go home. If their nails are too long I will cut them (if the dog allows). If they need to be brushed, I will brush them and often give them a massage…this is especially good for the nervous dogs. If they are scared and feel nervous they will be returned happy and calm from being pampered while you were away. Our dogs are allowed on the furniture including our bed and can play inside or outside with my dogs who are very friendly to other dogs and people. I don’t crate any of my dogs and don’t require dogs that stay with me to be crated during the day or night. If you prefer your dog to be crated at night I will follow your instructions if you bring the crate that they are used to. Many of the dogs that I board sleep in our bed but they also have very plush beds throughout our home that they can sleep on overnight or during the day for naps. Wherever they feel more comfortable sleeping is fine with me even if they don’t want to be in our room with us and our dogs.
About: I have always had a dog growing up and I love being around dogs in general. I enjoy the outdoors so I have always loved taking my dog on walks and to the dog park. I have dog sat for many of my neighbors, so I have experience handling dogs that I am not super familiar with. I took one of my dogs to an agility and training class where she became a certified canine good citizen. I am dedicated to providing the best quality of life for my dog and making sure they are always comfortable and taken care of. Being home from school, I have a lot of free time and would like to spend some more time with furry friends I currently just graduated from PA school, so my schedule is wide open. Now I am looking to fill my schedule part time to help with student loans. I always make sure to keep eyes on pets and keep them on a leash. I am very conscious about dog’s comfort levels and making sure they don’t have to interact with any other animals or people they don’t want to.
About: I've taken care of dogs pretty regularly, from chihuahuas to great danes. I work well with senior dogs just as well as energetic young dogs :) I'm an online graduate student with an internship in Vancouver, but my schedule is pretty flexible. I'm almost always open on weekends as well. Whatever fits you needs. I have a fenced in yard at home, and food is usually separated from my other pets' food and typical routines to limit interaction. At a clients home, I work hard to keep the home pristine and keep an eye on your pets wherever they go.
About: I’ve been dog sitting for different families for about two years and have really enjoyed it. I understand how important it is for pets to feel safe and comfortable when their owners are away, so I do my best to keep their routines consistent and give them plenty of attention, care, and affection. Whether it’s feeding, walking, playing, cleaning up after them, or just spending time with them, I treat every dog as if they were my own. Families have trusted me to care for their dogs, and I take that responsibility seriously. I do work part time, I work full 8 hour days on Thursdays and sometimes Fridays. The other days I work 5-6 hours. I’m usually off around 4:30 or 5 but my start times vary. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I do my best to keep their routine as normal as possible. I follow all instructions provided by the owner, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medication (if needed), and any special care requirements. I make sure pets have plenty of attention, exercise, and companionship while also respecting the client’s home and keeping it clean and secure. My goal is for both pets and owners to feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for while they’re apart
About: I have been caring for animals for most of my life and truly enjoy spending time with them. I’m attentive to their needs and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away. I take pride in being reliable, gentle, and patient with every animal I care for. During summer I have lots of free time, so pet care fits easily into my daily routine with feeding, walks, play, and weekly cleaning tasks. I provide safe, attentive care in clients’ homes, follow instructions closely, keep routines consistent, maintain cleanliness, and ensure pets feel comfortable and secure. I don’t pet sit at home.

“Kaitlyn genuinely joyed taking care of my pets. They are both on medications and it's challenging to dispense them correctly. It was done perfectly. She took really cute pictures of them and kept in touch with how things were going. I am hiring her again!”

“Danielle made herself available last minute to come and housesit our two dogs. We had to leave town unexpectedly and Danielle responded the same day our request was submitted and committed to starting to work just a couple of days later. We have had her stay with the pups before and we were thrilled to be able to leave knowing that they would be exceptionally cared for with all their needs well beyond met. We could not say enough wonderful things about Danielle and her knowledgeable and loving way with our dogs has made it such a wonderful and relaxing experience.”

“Roreee did a fantastic job with Sadie. She made sure that she had loads of play time and was well fed. She kept the litter box and house clean. She also sent us lots of photos and videos which made us very comfortable that our cat was being well taken care of. I would definitely recommend Roree to anyone who was considering her and will definitely be using her in the future for further sitting.”

“Shelby did a wonderful job taking care of our cat, house, and plants. Minka has some chronic health issues that get worse when we travel. We booked Shelby for overnight stays and Minka did really well. Shelby was great at communication, managed all of the medications, was respectful of our house and requests. She kept our plants in good condition despite an unexpected heat wave. She left the house very clean and we’d be happy to book her again.”

“Sarah was awesome!!! It was clear from the second she met the dogs that they loved her. She is a natural with dogs and took extra special care of them. Our dogs are everything to us and knowing they were in such good hands and care allowed us to enjoy our time away. Thanks again Sarah!”

“Sierra was perfect for my high-energy puppy. She completely understood how demanding a young dog can be, making sure he got plenty of exercise and playtime. The photo updates she sent were fantastic and so fun to receive. I came home to a spotless house and a very tired, happy dog. Highly, highly recommend her to anyone!”

“Lauryn was a great sitter. We had a little hiccup with scheduling but she communicated the whole time, found her own coverage which I really respected, and in the end it all worked out. She sent tons of videos and pictures of the boys and left the house clean. I would absolutely hire her again!”

About: I've been around pets my entire life! I've had puppies and kittens all the way to senior dogs and cats ( our dog prefers the term golden girl vs senior.) I'm the kind of person that says hello to a dog on a walk before the human. Essentially animals bring me joy whenever I see them. Our current children include our 15 year dog named Demeter and a 10 year old cat named Zephyr. Do they run the show and our lives? Absolutely!! I'm looking forward to meeting your pets soon! I recently left my 13 year career in sales to go back to school and flip my career. That being said I have ample amounts of spare time (when I'm not in class) to meet your pets and treat them like my own. I can take any type of special requests and make sure your fur baby is happy and taken care of. Special needs? Done. Special diet? Done. Extra walks and cuddles? Done.
