“Jared did an excellent job boarding Fiona, a ~2.5 year old pit mix that is brand new to our home. Jared came over for a meet and greet, where he let Fiona snuggle up to him which he interspersed with little checks, like touching her ears or feet to see how she responded. We sat in the back yard for a while talking about Fiona, his dog Bart, and his background - and after a while he suggested that he thought it would work well to board her at his place. I brought Fiona over there to see how she did in that environment, and she was very comfortable there. Jared sent me photos and updates throughout, reporting on how Fiona and Bart were doing together. They started with short play sessions until they got more familiar with each other. About: Hello Rover friends! I am a stay at home mom and would love to help sit your pets in our home. I have an open schedule and a big yard! We have a 10 yr old Lab/germen Shepard mix who loves having play dates and having friends over at our home. We do not have a fenced yard but I can take your pup on plenty of walks in our yard! I have tons of time to take good care of your furry babies, we have a ton of space on our 2 acre lot to play with your pup and take them for walks. We have three adults in the house and 1 child, so plenty if supervision. My dog is has an electric collar so he has a boundary he does not cross, I keep dogs that are prone to be curious on a leash since my yard is not fenced. I keep dogs separated when eating.

About: I have had dogs for my entire life! I currently have 2 dogs. Both are Rhodesian Ridgebacks. Trinity is our senior girl 13 yrs old, and Shira who is 2. I have had the most experience with big dogs (mainly German Shepherds and now Rhodesian Ridgebacks). I have done Schutzhund with my shepherds and have done dog shows and obedience shows locally with my Ridgebacks. Our dogs and the ones I take care of are always my priority. I treat all dogs like they are mine so they get all the love, snuggles, and attention they want. I have a safe and secure home and yard. We have a 3/4 acre completely fenced back yard fenced to 6 feet high. We are in the country and have lots of bunnies for them to chase. We also have a creek on our property that in good weather would be fun for the dogs to play in. I have some agility equipment that I will break out when the weather is nice and let dogs go through those or show them how. For rainy days we have toys and dog puzzles to keep their minds active. We also have a shop that I can put up agility equipment when the weather is lousy and cold so they can chase each other around in there if they are getting antsy. I also do daily obedience with my own dog and any other dog that is with me and wants to join in. While most of my experience has been with big dogs, I will work with any style and breed of dog after I meet them and we get to know each other. I also have experience working with packs of dogs, as at one time, I had a large pack of both German Shepherds, and then Ridgebacks. I also have a lot of experience working with puppies and can help with basic training. I seem to have a knack to help dogs who normally don’t eat or are very nervous when being left with someone else. I have had many boarders who’s moms and dads said were picky eaters or wouldn’t eat for a couple of days and somehow with me they eat well, don’t miss meals, and many times expand their diets. If you have a dog that takes medication I can, and have, administered meds that their parents bring. But I will only administer prescription meds written by a licensed veterinarian to the specific dog with explicit instructions. Bottom line, I don’t just “board” dogs. They are part of the family and treated as such until you get back. They Are talked to, interacted with by my dogs and myself and my husband all day long. They aren’t just put in a room or left outside to fend for themselves. They are truly being loved and cared for from the minute they are dropped off until the minute you pick them up. My husband and I are retired so I am full time at home now. So I can board 7 days a week. And overnight care at my house will be my specialty as you never have to worry about your dog being left for hours during the day or night. I have a very “dog friendly” home. That being said my house is clean and fairly tidy. I clean daily to make sure the dogs are in the best environment. My goal is to have your dog go home with you better than when they came. If they are full of mud from playing outside in the rain they will be washed and dried before they go home. If their nails are too long I will cut them (if the dog allows). If they need to be brushed, I will brush them and often give them a massage…this is especially good for the nervous dogs. If they are scared and feel nervous they will be returned happy and calm from being pampered while you were away. Our dogs are allowed on the furniture including our bed and can play inside or outside with my dogs who are very friendly to other dogs and people. I don’t crate any of my dogs and don’t require dogs that stay with me to be crated during the day or night. If you prefer your dog to be crated at night I will follow your instructions if you bring the crate that they are used to. Many of the dogs that I board sleep in our bed but they also have very plush beds throughout our home that they can sleep on overnight or during the day for naps. Wherever they feel more comfortable sleeping is fine with me even if they don’t want to be in our room with us and our dogs.
About: I've loved all sorts of animals since I can remember. I was the girl who brought stray dogs and cats home to be loved and cared for. I currently have a senior chihuahua and a orange cat called Keiko. I've always had dogs and cats while raising my kids, big and small. At this time, I am not working outside of the home. An example would be if your pet needs to be crated but doesn't enjoy it, I use treats and always leave enough time to slowly work them into it. If I am ever leaving the house for an hour or two I make sure your pets are set up! Freshly pottied, not hungry/thirsty, access to toys and treats (if allowed) and with jazz music for them! I know every pet is different and has their own special quirks and I am more than willing to accomodate for them. I am very careful and responsible with other peoples pets and property.

From birds and geckos to dogs and cats, I've always been fascinated by all their different personalities and unique biological aspects. The past year I've began dog-sitting on and off and I've always made sure to take care of all their needs no matter how specific or general. About: Hi! I’m a dedicated pet sitter who understands that every dog has unique needs, energy levels, and routines, and I take that seriously. I’ve cared for both cats and dogs since my teens, with experience across small and large breeds, senior dogs, and pets who require medication. I’m also comfortable caring for dogs with more complex needs, including epilepsy, and I prioritize calm, attentive handling to keep them safe and supported. What sets me apart is that I don’t just “watch” dogs, I focus on structured, engaging care that helps them feel balanced and happy while you’re away, whether its walks tailored to their energy level, mental enrichment and engagement during visits, consistent routines to support behavior, or lots of affection and attention. I’m very active and love being outdoors, so I’m happy to include longer walks, hikes, or more engaging outings if that’s something your dog enjoys. I can also do dog park visits if requested. Since I work from home, I have a flexible schedule and can provide reliable, consistent care throughout the day. I can also send regular updates and photos, so you always know how your pet is doing and can feel completely at ease. I treat every pet like my own (I have 3 dogs!), with patience, attentiveness, and genuine care. I’d love to connect and see if I'd be a good fit for you and your pet! *Starting June 2026, I will not be taking any clients who need me to sleep overnight at their home. I am able to house sit any time during the day and stay with your pet as long or as little as needed, however, if you need me more than one day at a time, I will leave your place at night and return in the morning.* I work from home, so I am willing and able to give your pet the attention it needs. I am used to taking care of pets so the routine comes easy for me. My work schedule is fairly flexible as well, making it easy for me to adapt to whatever schedule you may need for your pet. I focus on creating a safe, calm, and consistent experience for every pet. In your home, I follow all care instructions closely, so your pet stays comfortable and on their normal schedule. I stay aware on walks, avoid unsafe situations, and adjust care based on your dog’s energy level, temperament, and any medical needs. I also keep your home clean and secure so you can feel confident your pet is in good hands.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs big and small since I was little. Friends and family have relied on me to walk feed and stay in home with their pets. I’m currently a casual Longshormen, so I’ll have plenty of time to play with your pups! I’m available weekdays anytime and weekends if needed. I have a big yard and one friendly dog to keep your fur baby company. I can easily crate or play pen your dog if needed!

About: I have 4 dogs of my own and worked at a vet clinic for several years~ I can administer medications & perform CPR, which I recently renewed my certification in. Senior animals hold a particulary soft spot in my heart, and I'm always delighted to help out creatures with special needs (young or old). As a former professional housecleaner, I also have experience going into clients' homes and understand how to utilize your space to do my job, while also respecting your privacy & home. If pet care can be considered a hobby, it's definitely mine, which may explain why I have 4 dogs.. I ensure they live carefree, tail-wagging lives and I would love to spoil your pet(s) too! My schedule tends to be full, but manageable, as I try to help as many people in the community as one person can; often, I can spin a little bit of magic to make a request work. I firmly believe in flexibility for others as I appreciate it in return and this helps to keep my schedule accommodating. I believe dogs deserve the absolute best in life and as such, mine live a life of luxury with high quality meals, lots of playtime, and minimal rules.
