About: For 15 years I ran a successful dog walking business outside of Boston, and have now returned to the northwest to help my mother age in place. I'm missing my animal friends, and am ready to help with yours! I'm experienced and mature, conscientious, reliable and careful, with the same high expectations for myself that you have. I understand the importance of good relationships with anyone you bring into your pet's life - both for your pet and for you - and building relationships and community is what I most loved about my dog walking business. My schedule is quite flexible! Being retired definitely opens up my availability, and I aim to be as accommodating and helpful as possible to meet your pet's needs. Safety and privacy are important priorities, and I am always respectful of both. I have years of experience accessing clients' homes and caring for their pets - more than 250 pets over the years - without any problems. I am professional and experienced, with a proven record.

About: I have had dogs for my entire life! I currently have 2 dogs. Both are Rhodesian Ridgebacks. Trinity is our senior girl 13 yrs old, and Shira who is 2. I have had the most experience with big dogs (mainly German Shepherds and now Rhodesian Ridgebacks). I have done Schutzhund with my shepherds and have done dog shows and obedience shows locally with my Ridgebacks. Our dogs and the ones I take care of are always my priority. I treat all dogs like they are mine so they get all the love, snuggles, and attention they want. I have a safe and secure home and yard. We have a 3/4 acre completely fenced back yard fenced to 6 feet high. We are in the country and have lots of bunnies for them to chase. We also have a creek on our property that in good weather would be fun for the dogs to play in. I have some agility equipment that I will break out when the weather is nice and let dogs go through those or show them how. For rainy days we have toys and dog puzzles to keep their minds active. We also have a shop that I can put up agility equipment when the weather is lousy and cold so they can chase each other around in there if they are getting antsy. I also do daily obedience with my own dog and any other dog that is with me and wants to join in. While most of my experience has been with big dogs, I will work with any style and breed of dog after I meet them and we get to know each other. I also have experience working with packs of dogs, as at one time, I had a large pack of both German Shepherds, and then Ridgebacks. I also have a lot of experience working with puppies and can help with basic training. I seem to have a knack to help dogs who normally don’t eat or are very nervous when being left with someone else. I have had many boarders who’s moms and dads said were picky eaters or wouldn’t eat for a couple of days and somehow with me they eat well, don’t miss meals, and many times expand their diets. If you have a dog that takes medication I can, and have, administered meds that their parents bring. But I will only administer prescription meds written by a licensed veterinarian to the specific dog with explicit instructions. Bottom line, I don’t just “board” dogs. They are part of the family and treated as such until you get back. They Are talked to, interacted with by my dogs and myself and my husband all day long. They aren’t just put in a room or left outside to fend for themselves. They are truly being loved and cared for from the minute they are dropped off until the minute you pick them up. My husband and I are retired so I am full time at home now. So I can board 7 days a week. And overnight care at my house will be my specialty as you never have to worry about your dog being left for hours during the day or night. I have a very “dog friendly” home. That being said my house is clean and fairly tidy. I clean daily to make sure the dogs are in the best environment. My goal is to have your dog go home with you better than when they came. If they are full of mud from playing outside in the rain they will be washed and dried before they go home. If their nails are too long I will cut them (if the dog allows). If they need to be brushed, I will brush them and often give them a massage…this is especially good for the nervous dogs. If they are scared and feel nervous they will be returned happy and calm from being pampered while you were away. Our dogs are allowed on the furniture including our bed and can play inside or outside with my dogs who are very friendly to other dogs and people. I don’t crate any of my dogs and don’t require dogs that stay with me to be crated during the day or night. If you prefer your dog to be crated at night I will follow your instructions if you bring the crate that they are used to. Many of the dogs that I board sleep in our bed but they also have very plush beds throughout our home that they can sleep on overnight or during the day for naps. Wherever they feel more comfortable sleeping is fine with me even if they don’t want to be in our room with us and our dogs.

About: I've loved all sorts of animals since I can remember. I was the girl who brought stray dogs and cats home to be loved and cared for. I currently have a senior chihuahua and a orange cat called Keiko. I've always had dogs and cats while raising my kids, big and small. At this time, I am not working outside of the home. I would like to make petsitting, dog walking, animal care, my fulltime job. I volunteer once a week for two hours for furry friends. I also dog walk for one senior who has two dachschunds. I have a fenced yard. I make sure they always have water and excercise. I try to be as attentive to their needs as possible.

About: I had such a great experience with rover when I was on vacation I decided to sign up! I have always had a pet in my home and I know how important it is to have a responsible pet sitter to care for them. I can house sit, watch pets in my home, do drop in visits you name it. If you have a special request just ask! I have a spoiled 9 lb chiweenie name Bo. I live in a house with a yard in the country. About: Hi! I’ve had dogs and cats in my life since I was about 4, so caring for animals has always come naturally to me. With 35+ years of experience, I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and personalities. From Chihuahuas and Yorkies to Pit Bulls and Labs, I’m used to them all! I’m happy to go on walks, play, or just keep your pet company and make sure they feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. I treat every pet like family and always focus on keeping them happy and well cared for. I currently work at a school, so my schedule opens after 3:30pm M-Th and after 1:00pm on Fridays. I’m also available most weekends I’m happy to play with your pet indoors or out, take them for walks, or just check in and keep them company! Whatever your pet needs, I’m available to provide to keep them safe and happy.

About: I've cared for all kinds of animals since I was young for friends, family and neighbors. Trusting me to walk, feed and even bathe their pets. I'm a vet assistant with hands-on experience in small animals, but have experience with farm animals to! I am confident handling pets of all sizes, temperaments and needs, and always prioritize their safety and comfort. I currently work twice a week 10 hours day, the best days for me to help out would be Wednesday-Sunday. I sometimes work shorter days on Saturdays and could stop by after to feed/walk/exercise your pet. I love getting outside and love having doggy company to join me! I'm willing to stop by twice a day to feed/clean for kitties. And I can always hang out with your dog (or dogs) for the day if you just need someone to keep them company while you are busy! I practice "fear free handling" meaning I always take the gentlest approach to any situation. An example would be if your pet needs to be crated but doesn't enjoy it, I use treats and always leave enough time to slowly work them into it. If I am ever leaving the house for an hour or two I make sure your pets are set up! Freshly pottied, not hungry/thirsty, access to toys and treats (if allowed) and with jazz music for them! I know every pet is different and has their own special quirks and I am more than willing to accomodate for them. I am very careful and responsible with other peoples pets and property.

About: I have always been a lover of animals and will treat your pets as if they were my own. I have previously worked as a Licensed Veterinary Technician for 5 years, in both small and large animal practices. I have also had many of my own animals throughout my life, including dogs, cats, rabbits, horses, donkeys and alpacas. Animals have always been a central part of my life. Due to my previous work as a licensed vet tech I am comfortable with administering medications or handling special care your animal may need. I have experience in caring for animals of all ages, including senior animals. Thank you for your time, I look forward to meeting and caring for your pets! About: I've grown up around all different kinds of animals my whole life. From birds and geckos to dogs and cats, I've always been fascinated by all their different personalities and unique biological aspects. The past year I've began dog-sitting on and off and I've always made sure to take care of all their needs no matter how specific or general. I make sure to prioritize that they're properly taken care of and feel safe and comfortable around me. With my interest in biology I also appreciate them from a scientific perspective and try to apply what I've learnt in school about animal biology and behavior whenever needed. I'm currently off of school for the summer and have a pretty free schedule. There's certain things I also prioritize doing like meeting with communities I'm apart of, but I'm still able to free up my schedule whenever I'm needed elsewhere. During the school months my schedule is a bit more strict around the afternoons but I'm still willing to work on weekdays if it lines up with my schedule. Currently I'm self employed too so I'm able to do my other job on my own time which is very flexible. I currently take care of my cat and 3 dogs which are all properly fed twice a day. I like to play with them whenever they're up for it and I even take my cat for walks everyday since he loves being outside. I'll always respect whatever your schedule/routine is for your animals and make sure they're well fed and happy.

About: I have owned and taken care of dogs and cats my entire life, including currently owning a German Shepherd. I am comfortable taking care of dogs and cats of all ages and giving medication if needed. I am a teacher on summer break so I generally have a pretty open schedule to spend lots of time with your pet. I am available for walks, drop-in visits, or to come stay with your pet. I am used to taking care of pets so the routine comes easy for me. My work schedule is fairly flexible as well, making it easy for me to adapt to whatever schedule you may need for your pet. I focus on creating a safe, calm, and consistent experience for every pet. In your home, I follow all care instructions closely, so your pet stays comfortable and on their normal schedule. I stay aware on walks, avoid unsafe situations, and adjust care based on your dog’s energy level, temperament, and any medical needs. I also keep your home clean and secure so you can feel confident your pet is in good hands.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs big and small since I was little. Friends and family have relied on me to walk feed and stay in home with their pets. I’m currently a casual Longshormen, so I’ll have plenty of time to play with your pups! I’m available weekdays anytime and weekends if needed. This includes feeding them at regular intervals and providing appropriate portions based on their size and dietary needs. Regular physical activity is crucial.
