About: I have had dogs for my entire life! I currently have 2 dogs. Both are Rhodesian Ridgebacks. Trinity is our senior girl 13 yrs old, and Shira who is 2. I have had the most experience with big dogs (mainly German Shepherds and now Rhodesian Ridgebacks). I have done Schutzhund with my shepherds and have done dog shows and obedience shows locally with my Ridgebacks. Our dogs and the ones I take care of are always my priority. I treat all dogs like they are mine so they get all the love, snuggles, and attention they want. I have a safe and secure home and yard. We have a 3/4 acre completely fenced back yard fenced to 6 feet high. We are in the country and have lots of bunnies for them to chase. We also have a creek on our property that in good weather would be fun for the dogs to play in. I have some agility equipment that I will break out when the weather is nice and let dogs go through those or show them how. For rainy days we have toys and dog puzzles to keep their minds active. We also have a shop that I can put up agility equipment when the weather is lousy and cold so they can chase each other around in there if they are getting antsy. I also do daily obedience with my own dog and any other dog that is with me and wants to join in. While most of my experience has been with big dogs, I will work with any style and breed of dog after I meet them and we get to know each other. I also have experience working with packs of dogs, as at one time, I had a large pack of both German Shepherds, and then Ridgebacks. I also have a lot of experience working with puppies and can help with basic training. I seem to have a knack to help dogs who normally don’t eat or are very nervous when being left with someone else. I have had many boarders who’s moms and dads said were picky eaters or wouldn’t eat for a couple of days and somehow with me they eat well, don’t miss meals, and many times expand their diets. If you have a dog that takes medication I can, and have, administered meds that their parents bring. But I will only administer prescription meds written by a licensed veterinarian to the specific dog with explicit instructions. Bottom line, I don’t just “board” dogs. They are part of the family and treated as such until you get back. They Are talked to, interacted with by my dogs and myself and my husband all day long. They aren’t just put in a room or left outside to fend for themselves. They are truly being loved and cared for from the minute they are dropped off until the minute you pick them up. My husband and I are retired so I am full time at home now. So I can board 7 days a week. And overnight care at my house will be my specialty as you never have to worry about your dog being left for hours during the day or night. I have a very “dog friendly” home. That being said my house is clean and fairly tidy. I clean daily to make sure the dogs are in the best environment. My goal is to have your dog go home with you better than when they came. If they are full of mud from playing outside in the rain they will be washed and dried before they go home. If their nails are too long I will cut them (if the dog allows). If they need to be brushed, I will brush them and often give them a massage…this is especially good for the nervous dogs. If they are scared and feel nervous they will be returned happy and calm from being pampered while you were away. Our dogs are allowed on the furniture including our bed and can play inside or outside with my dogs who are very friendly to other dogs and people. I don’t crate any of my dogs and don’t require dogs that stay with me to be crated during the day or night. If you prefer your dog to be crated at night I will follow your instructions if you bring the crate that they are used to. Many of the dogs that I board sleep in our bed but they also have very plush beds throughout our home that they can sleep on overnight or during the day for naps. Wherever they feel more comfortable sleeping is fine with me even if they don’t want to be in our room with us and our dogs.

About: I've cared for all kinds of animals since I was young for friends, family and neighbors. Trusting me to walk, feed and even bathe their pets. I'm a vet assistant with hands-on experience in small animals, but have experience with farm animals to! I am confident handling pets of all sizes, temperaments and needs, and always prioritize their safety and comfort. I currently work twice a week 10 hours day, the best days for me to help out would be Wednesday-Sunday. I sometimes work shorter days on Saturdays and could stop by after to feed/walk/exercise your pet. I love getting outside and love having doggy company to join me! I'm willing to stop by twice a day to feed/clean for kitties. And I can always hang out with your dog (or dogs) for the day if you just need someone to keep them company while you are busy! I practice "fear free handling" meaning I always take the gentlest approach to any situation. An example would be if your pet needs to be crated but doesn't enjoy it, I use treats and always leave enough time to slowly work them into it. If I am ever leaving the house for an hour or two I make sure your pets are set up! Freshly pottied, not hungry/thirsty, access to toys and treats (if allowed) and with jazz music for them! I know every pet is different and has their own special quirks and I am more than willing to accomodate for them. I am very careful and responsible with other peoples pets and property.

About: For 15 years I ran a successful dog walking business outside of Boston, and have now returned to the northwest to help my mother age in place. I'm missing my animal friends, and am ready to help with yours! I'm experienced and mature, conscientious, reliable and careful, with the same high expectations for myself that you have. I understand the importance of good relationships with anyone you bring into your pet's life - both for your pet and for you - and building relationships and community is what I most loved about my dog walking business. My schedule is quite flexible! Being retired definitely opens up my availability, and I aim to be as accommodating and helpful as possible to meet your pet's needs. Safety and privacy are important priorities, and I am always respectful of both. I have years of experience accessing clients' homes and caring for their pets - more than 250 pets over the years - without any problems. I am professional and experienced, with a proven record.

About: I've taken care of many pets of all ages, such as friends & families, & pets of my own. I know how to be their support companion. I'm available: All Sundays & Tuesdays all day, and in the afternoon to evenings Monday, Wednesday, Thursday Not available: Fridays and Saturdays. Mornings on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday I give my pets a lot of love & care. I let my puppy get his energy out. I remember to give my cat her snuggle time. I make sure both water bowls are always full & they have food (depending if it's feeding time or not). I'm always looking for throw up/hair balls & poop/pee to clean up.

About: I've loved all sorts of animals since I can remember. I was the girl who brought stray dogs and cats home to be loved and cared for. I currently have a senior chihuahua and a orange cat called Keiko. I've always had dogs and cats while raising my kids, big and small. At this time, I am not working outside of the home. I would like to make petsitting, dog walking, animal care, my fulltime job. I volunteer once a week for two hours for furry friends. I also dog walk for one senior who has two dachschunds. I have a fenced yard. I make sure they always have water and excercise. I try to be as attentive to their needs as possible.

About: My family has had dogs my whole life, and I personally have owned a dog since the age of 8. I have also happily taken care of friends animals since the age of 10, and dog sat for for others since the age of 15. I’m currently a full time student who is working part time, so late afternoon and evenings are the best time for me to give attention to the dogs:) I am happy to provide some extra love and attention to animals based on their needs. About: I had such a great experience with rover when I was on vacation I decided to sign up! I have always had a pet in my home and I know how important it is to have a responsible pet sitter to care for them. I can house sit, watch pets in my home, do drop in visits you name it. If you have a special request just ask! I have a spoiled 9 lb chiweenie name Bo. I live in a house with a yard in the country. About: As a Certified Veterinary Technician, I specialize in caring for animals that are seniors, have special needs due to medical conditions, behavior challenges like leash reactivity and the list goes on! I’m no longer practicing in a clinic but my skills are constantly put to the test with my own three hounds which includes two seniors! I’m also a dog blogger (My Life With Dogs PDX) and have endless knowledge on health and wellness topics. Drop in’s when pet parents are out of town or just busy is my focus area and I’m also available for a few regular dog walking clients. About: I’ve taken care of dogs big and small since I was little. Friends and family have relied on me to walk feed and stay in home with their pets. I’m currently a casual Longshormen, so I’ll have plenty of time to play with your pups! I’m available weekdays anytime and weekends if needed. I have a big yard and one friendly dog to keep your fur baby company. I can easily crate or play pen your dog if needed!

About: I’ve taken care of big mutts my whole life. My family has only ever rescued dogs. I love teaching my dogs tricks and hanging out with them outside. I’m currently searching for a job so right now this is my source of gas money. I have plenty of free time to live on pets. My animals in my home are constantly outside or napping inside. The second one of them wants to play outside they get the opportunity to.

About: I have grown up with animals and as I got older I have owned my own pets! I have been around a wide range of sizes from big to small. I’m not afraid of a challenge and I love furry faces:) I currently only work part time. I mostly work from the afternoon into the evening. I work about 25hrs a week and will be willing to share more if asked! I can’t care for pets in my home but in other peoples homes I would abide by the rules. If the animal had a schedule that needed to be followed, I would follow it! If the animal needs extra love, I’m more than happy to provide.

About: I am 31 years old, pretty active. Dogs around me usually get what they want. I spoil them more than i spoil myself. They are family so I will treat them like family. I am a stay at home mom & I lam easy to get a hold of. If you want pictures everyday, i will provide you pictures everyday. I love hikes and going for walks. Let me know your needs and I will follow your rules. All I ask is that I meet you & your dog beforehand so we can make sure that your dog is okay with me & won’t think I’m a stranger just walking in the house. I am a huge animal lover! Can’t wait to meet you and the pup/pups! I have two dogs of my own that I adore! I’ve had them both since they were pups. They are my first kiddos. I take care of them daily. I follow all rules that are given to me. If they love all the pets then I will love them with all I got. If they love fetch, then I’ll throw the ball until they get tired.

About: I have 3 dogs ranging from 1-10 1/2 years of age. We have done the puppy stage three times so I’m used to that and willing to help. I know how stressful it can be if you need to go out of town and still have a puppy at home that needs a little more attention, let me help you with this! I’m not afraid of any dogs I just need to meet them first before agreeing to a job just so that we know it’ll be a good fit. I’m currently working full time 12 hr days. So I will not schedule myself when I’m working unless of course this works for you. I’m just looking to see if I can help some people while they travel or need someone to come and check on their pets while they are away. I currently live on 2.5 acres so having dogs come to my house will not be a good fit. We have 3 dogs and sometimes sit for family and friends and their dogs come over and we closely watch them while outside so they don’t venture off into the woods. Right now I’m just looking to see if I can help with checking in on pets or walking them or even possibly house sitting if need be. I know how important routine and familiarity is important so I would like to meet the pets with the owners before agreeing to a job and this way we can make sure the pets are comfortable with me and also we can go over dos and don’ts with your pets.
