About: My partner and I live in Astoria with our dog Inky! We fostered a dog for 2 months and miss having a 2nd dog around! Currently we don't have time for a full time 2nd dog but would love to go on walks/ board other dogs with our 4 year old Inky. Both Steven and I have fostered dogs individually and together and we understand the priceless feeling of a worry-free boarding experience for dog parents! We feel that caring for other people's pet children is a true honor! I'm working part time and my partner Steven WFH some days. We go to the park most weekend mornings and like to spend the entire day with the dog(s). Whether it is at home snuggling on the couch, or at a dog-friendly coffee shop. We make sure to not leave small items (ex. airpods) laying around, garbage is thrown away, and the apartment is very much baby/dog-proofed in general.

“Sophie was great! We are very grateful to have found her in the app and booked with her. She is very reliable and provided prompt pictures and reports about our Bagel while we were away. We will definitely book with her again in our future time away. Thank you Sophie!”

About: Having had two cherished pets throughout my childhood, I've always had a strong bond with animals. Plus, my boyfriend has five pets that I adore. From feeding and playtime to walks and snuggles, I have years of experience caring for all kinds of animals. Your pets will feel loved and well cared for with me! I am available all throughout the week! I am currently still looking for a part-time summer job, so I have plenty of time to care and love your pets at what ever time of day you need. I have taken care of dogs in all different environments, whether that be a fenced yard, crate training, electronic fence, etc. Whatever environment your pet is in I am willing to adapt to!

“Rene was great with Thor. She didn't let his grumpiness deter her from making sure he was checked in on & fed. She took lots of pictures of Thor which I appreciated. She even checked his litter which was above & beyond what I expected.”

About: I’ve been surrounded by dogs my entire life — big, small, shy, playful, you name it. I’ve cared for multiple dogs at a time and still do, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I’m genuinely obsessed with dogs and love getting to know each one’s unique personality, quirks, and preferences. Whether it’s discovering their favorite walking route, the toy they can’t put down, or the treat that makes their tail wag the fastest, I make it my mission to ensure they feel loved, safe, and happy — always. I work full time in healthcare, but I’m fully remote — so my day naturally revolves around my dogs. I build my schedule and their walks, playtime, and snuggles, making sure they get plenty of attention and care throughout the day. This flexibility allows me to be present and attentive to any pet I’m caring for, just as I am with my own. Whether in my home or yours, I treat every pet like my own. In my home, pets get a safe, clean, and cozy environment with plenty of playtime, walks, and snuggles. I stick to their normal feeding schedules, keep fresh water available at all times, and make sure they get the exercise and attention they’re used to. In a clients home, I follow your routines and instructions to the letter — whether that means specific feeding times, favorite walking routes, or special care needs — so your pet feels comfortable and cares for in their own space. My goal is always to keep tails wagging and stress levels low.

About: Experience with large and small dogs, from rambunctious puppy wrangling to being tackled by big pups. I love them all, and am very good at understanding dog signals. I have no trouble walking strong dogs that like to pull, and I do not get frustrated by dogs. They have feelings, just like us, and I treat them as equals. I have experience with old dogs with physical needs and ailments, and tending to those needs. I had a small dog that was blind and nearly deaf, and I would steer him from danger and help him feel safe and comfortable. I also now have a big dog who was very naughty as a puppy, but I was able to train him patiently and well and now he's a big sweetheart.

Erisa S.

“Erisa is my real life "Dog Whisperer". I have never seen her not a love a dog she saw, and I've never seen a dog that didn't love her. It's easy to tell that her love of dogs is real because I have yet to hear a single complaint about the dogs she's fostered and taken care of. Honestly, sometimes I wonder who enjoys going on the walk more, the dog, or her! If you're looking for someone to love and care for your dog as much as you do, I can't imagine a better person to choose than Erisa.”

“I highly recommend Onnika for her pet sitting and dog walking services. She is incredibly reliable and communicated with updates about my precious Woodrow! She was excellent at sending photos of my dog enjoying his walks and playtime. Onnika was very patient and gentle with my dog especially since he is getting up in age. She was able to administer oral medication for him too- which was such a big help and relief to know he was getting them on time. Woody really seemed to enjoy her company . I felt completely at ease knowing my fur baby was in her care. I would definitely book them again!"”

Robert D.
“Robert watched my dog one time and honestly, my dog is really crazy. All she does is bark and she never listens to my commands, but Robert was up for the challenge. He watched my dog and not only did he make sure she was safe. He made sure that she felt loved who can say that nowadays between the cuddles treats walks sweet little words of praise And overall good vibes. I knew that my baby was in good hands. Everyone should strive for a dog walker like Rob.”

“Trevor is an awesome dog sitter! He has taken care of our dog, Gabe, many times -- since he was a puppy. Trevor is patient, kind and loving toward animals, and he is very responsible. He is a strong and firm leader, as well as very playful and a great dog cuddler. I would totally trust Trevor to take care of any pet.”
Ardsley-on-Hudson cat parents share their Rover experiences
First time booking with Caleigh, great communication and experience all around. One of our cats is almost by rule very slow to warm up to new people, has spent days under the bed when we have some houseguests, so we were surprised to see Noel out and about getting treats on Caleigh's first visit. Highly recommend!

Maddie took outstanding care of my cat Pumpkin for an entire week. Although Pumpkin is shy around new people, Maddie was patient and took the time to encourage Pumpkin to feel comfortable and play during her drop-in visits. She was also dependable and gave daily updates. I highly recommend Maddie and will be hiring her again in the future as well!
