“Rebecca was absolutely wonderful! I was fully confident in leaving Mousse with her after doing an initial meet and greet. It was very clear that Rebecca has a good sense of how dogs are and what they need. She was careful to point out that her stairway was sometimes a challenge for dogs and that it was important to make sure Mousse would be ok navigating them... and she'd thought out where to place the crate in her apartment so it wasn't in the sun. She sent regular check ins and Mousse was clearly having a great time in all the pictures :) In addition, Rebecca was very flexible and understanding when we were stuck in traffic and needed to delay pick up by a few hours. We hope to add Rebecca to our regular rotation of Rover sitters!”
“Chazz is amazing! My 2 dogs are not the easiest to deal but he was able to calm them down 5 mins after meeting them. I appreciate him sending me updates without us asking for it. Shoyu and Maki just got back from their vacation with him and seemed to have the best time. We could not have been any happier or more pleased with the exceptional care she provided to our 16 1/2 yr old chihuahua. Having an older dog with poor vision and hearing impaired made us so nervous but Gabriela immediately made us feel comfortable and had such keen instincts for our pup's needs. Our dog immediately bonded with her. We received pictures and updates from Gabriela and upon picking her up also received a full report. “Earlier this week, I found myself in the position of finding overnight care for my dog Cookie at the very last minute. I will never send him to a kennel since he does not do well with a lot of other dogs and I did not want him lost amidst a sea of yapping or feeling confined. I needed someone with a big, secure, natural back yard to enjoy when not on walks; someone with only one or two personal pets who would not take in others during Cookie’s stay; and someone active, engaged and loving with my special guy. I found that person in Christina. Christina is brand new to the platform, which I actually liked since I suspected she would go over and beyond what was required as she builds her reputation. Her narrative and the testimonials sounded authentic, and her photos showed obvious joy with dogs and cats. And she was available on short notice. I asked if we could do a live video “walk-around” her house, and mainly her yard, on WhatsApp, which I do not believe most people would have agreed to, but she did so readily. This is what I saw, heard and learned: 1) The yard is huge, secure, beautiful and interesting; 2) Her rapport with her own bichon was kind, gentle and fun (I learned she had three bichons for many years but two passed and I think Rover is partly to help fill that void); 3) She walks in Pennypack Park morning, noon and night so when Cookie was not enjoying the yard, he’d be enjoying new sights and sounds elsewhere with his new bichon buddy; 4) Cookie would not be caged ever, and no other dogs would be accepted for boarding while he was there. I had to change the drop off and pickup times at the last minute, which was not a problem at all. Drop-off was easy and communication consistent and remained on WhatsApp throughout the stay. I picked Cookie up a little while ago and I knew I had made the right choice for my guy. Cookie will be back at Christina’s without a question, though hopefully not at the last minute again. Five out of five!!!”

Becky and Christian did a great job taking care of Freya. They sent me daily update photos and answered my texts quickly. Freya was very comfortable and relaxed when I picked her up after she stayed in their home. I will definitely have them take care of Freya again.
We had a wonderful experience with Colleen! She quickly became friends with our dog, and we could tell right away that she knows how to handle and connect with pets. Everything went smoothly, and we had absolutely no problems during our dog’s stay. We are very happy with her care and would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for someone who genuinely knows how to take care of and get along with animals. We would be happy to have her watch our dog again!
Lizzy took wonderful care of my dog over a weekend at her house, and I would definitely send my pup to Lizzy’s again for a stay! My dog has anxiety and takes daily medication, and Lizzy had no issues providing her care. Lizzy was very communicative providing updates and answering questions with quick responses. My pup loved spending time in her spacious, fenced in backyard and came home very happy!
Maggie stayed with Amy and Timothy once again and I couldn’t be happier with their care for her! They are so accommodating and helpful. They always send pictures and videos. Jacqueline is the best dog sitter! She had a handful with my rescue Dude, a Shih Tzu mix. He was not medicated enough, because I did not realize that he was not quite as comfortable as he seemed at the Meet & Greet. Jacqueline called us, and we figured out a different medication schedule which did work. I recommend this sitter highly!
