About: I’ve grown up around animals my whole life, including dogs, cats, guinea pigs, and hamsters. I’ve cared for my own dog for 12 years and have been pet sitting for friends, family, and others for the past couple of years. I’ve trained my dog to do many tricks and am comfortable with feeding, walking, playtime, bathing, and administering oral medication. I treat every pet like family and want them to feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. I am a college student who is applying to allied health science programs. In the meantime my schedule is flexible, and I have plenty of time to dedicate to caring for your pets. Lia was wonderful!! I’ve never used Rover before and I’m grateful she made it an awesome first experience. She initiated a meet and greet before our trip which made it super easy to get her a key and show her through everything she needed to know to watch after the cats. While we were away, she proactively sent lots of pictures and updates which I loved. She also quickly responded to any questions or requests I had. On top of taking great care of the cats, she even watered our plant. I could tell through the pictures just how comfortable the cats were with her which gave me peace of mind while being away. Overall, 10/10 and we are so glad we had Lia looking after Pepper and Periwinkle!!
My weird cats and I adore Allie. I volunteered at a couple of shelters / rescues and truly have some quirky cats, but Allie acted like they were as normal as they come. She was not fazed by their individual eating preferences, oral meds, and sometimes cranky attitudes. Allie also sent daily updates with photos and I have not felt this at ease traveling in a very long time. I'm sure Allie is excellent with dogs, but if you are looking for someone who is amazing with cats, this is your sitter!
