“Jie is an exceptional sitter, super friendly and sweet. She went above and beyond with the care of our two dogs, including a daily eye rinse for our 9 year old Poodle mix who has a cherry eye. They both had a very happy and warm stay with Jie, her husband and their lovely Shih Tzu. We received picture updates a few times a day for all the different activities: feeding, walking, treat time and socializing with other dogs. Jie also answers messages on the spot and is very accommodating with scheduling and special needs. You definitely can't go wrong with Jie if you're looking for a worry-free stay for your dog in the bay area.”

About: I am a dog mom of a senior shiba and a young border collie. I really enjoyed the different personalities, expressions and energy level I see in both of my fur babies. In my training of early childhood education and psychology, I learned how to sit with big feelings and to be a calm presence to support the process of transition and learning. I found the skills transferable when I help care for my friends and families’s dogs. Their dog babies enjoyed the access to our backyard everyday and join us in our outdoor activities. (With owners permission) I am working full time but we will have camera to monitor the whole time. Dogs will have access to indoor and outdoor space during the day.In the morning, I will let the dogs out in the yard and go for a short walk. During the day, dogs will have the indoor/outdoor access. My husband is a dog lover, he will be helping with caring for your dog, so your baby will get extra attention and TLC from both of us! When we get home, dogs will have a play date in the back yard and will have another walk after dinner. If your pet stay over the weekend, they will be with us the whole time with more range to roam freely inside and outside the house. We will always do a meet and greet to make sure you’re comfortable with the space your dog will be staying and see if they are getting along with my two other dogs. During your stay, our dogs will be kept in a separate area, no dogs will be left with other dogs unsupervised. Our backyard is with tall fence all around so there is no risk of dogs running away. If your dog has allergy or need to take medication, please communitcate clearly with instruction. .

“Nancy was wonderful as always! Our pup was sick while we were away and Nancy sent us regular updates, adjusted his meals and eased our anxieties. She stayed in touch and send photo updates and even offer to take him to the vet for us. We are so thankful to have Nancy and her family watch our pup when we are away.”
