“Bobbie is amazing! I was so nervous to leave the state and trust someone with my babies but she did such an amazing job and kept me updated. She was on time and great with communicating! Since then I have booked Bobbie again and have been so impressed. She will always be my go to with both my dogs and she cares for them like her own. Thank you Bobbie!!!”

“Chase and Jessica really came through for us regardless of the short notice and length of time we needed care for our cats. They followed my instructions and keep our cats on their usual routine while we were away.”

“Travis came in as promised and sent me photos of my little guy Milo. Now that I’m working on leaving my puppy home alone it was great to have that peace of mind and Travis came super prepared with extra items for emergencies. Great sitter and Milo seemed to have fun!”

About: If your smaller non-shedding dog (up to 40 lbs) does not care for other pets, I'm your sitter! There are no other pets in my house, and I specialize in dogs who do not like other animals. I have owned and loved dogs my entire adult life. In retirement I've chosen not to own one, but I miss those little guys so much and would love to love on your precious pet. I am retired and can fully care for your smaller (up to 40#), potty-trained, non-shedding dog. On weekends in the summer I may talk to you about your friend joining me at my camper. I will provide care for your smaller non-shedding dog without other animals in my home. Perfect for those cuddlers who would rather not have competition for my attention!
“We love having Briana pet sit for our two kitties while we are away. We are confident that they are being well cared for. She is very accommodating and great at taking care of our pets. Thank you Briana!”

About: I currently have one dog at home, and he loves to have friends during the day. He is an Aussie-doodle, and is very playful. He is almost 6 years old. I am excited to offer care for other pets in my home. Your pet will be loved just as much as Tracker while they are with me. I am patient with all animals and have been around them my entire life. I am able to take care of puppies as well as senior dogs as well. I have had a lot of practice with giving medications for dogs. I will ensure that your animals needs are met anytime they are within my home. I am more than happy to send updates and pictures as often as you would like so you know how they are adjusting and doing. I work from home and I am able to watch and play with animals during the day and after work. Our yard is fenced in and has a large backyard to play in. I have three girls that I bring to school from 715-8am and then pick them up from 230-330. On the weekends I am available the entire day as I do not work weekends. I have a large fenced in yard. Anytime the animals are outside they gate will be shut. I will also endure any small animals are on a leash as they are outside so they are watched after. During the day, the animals will be within eye sight as I work upstairs.

“Laura watched our Dixie for more than a week. She was always on time and had wonderful communication. Dixie loved her time with her so much we are booking her again for the end of the month.”

“Ellie was very professional, polite, trustworthy, and has a great head on her shoulders. I knew as soon as we met that she was the right fit for my boys. She was really flexible with her availability too. I have 2 cats and one is very outgoing and one is shy at first. He felt comfortable coming out to eat and get pets when Ellie came. She has excellent communication skills, followed directions and asked questions when necessary. We would definitely use Ellie's services again. We had a great experience using Rover for the first time also. We have used multiple different friends, some who even have cats, in the past, but they did not meet our expectations or quantity standards. Ellie was the opposite of our previous experiences and really did a fantastic job. The cats really liked her. She gave them treats, pate with their probiotics, opened the sliding door to give the boys fresh air and a nice view of the grass, birds, and pond out back. It was a wonderful idea and much appreciated!!! The cats both love looking outside and bird watching. I would highly recommend you give Ellie a chance and let her take care of your pet(s). You will not be disappointed. Thanks soo much Ellie!! My cats are my world.”

“Marci did great for the drop-in visits, she gave my boys all the attention they needed, made sure they ate their meals, and made sure they had plenty of water. I also asked her to let my chickens in and out, which she did great at too. I received photos and an update after each of the drop-ins with prompt responses with any questions I had.”
About: I have cared for pets in a variety of contexts including while babysitting, stop-by check-ins, and live-in per care for a few days at a time. Additionally, I am known to spend more time hanging out with the pets at friends’ houses than with the people there. I am a student with flexibility in most afternoons/evenings and early mornings. I do have 7 hour blocks each day but other than that have lots of time to play with and walk pups! I work very hard to try and make most requests work! I follow given or written instructions to a T. Additionally I prefer to follow the pets lead, within reason, not forcing myself into their space or making them “like” me, rather waiting for them to approach me.
About: I have grown up with dogs, and have had always had a passion for being around dogs. I worked with them in my last job at a nursing home and seeing the difference they make, makes me so happy Pet care fits well into my routine because I’m currently in school and have afternoons available after my other job. This gives me time to care for pets, provide attention and companionship, and complete my schoolwork between visits. I’m organized and dependable, and I can plan my schedule around each pet’s feeding, playtime, walks, and other care needs. I also have two cats of my own, so daily pet care is already a regular part of my life. I care for pets by following their normal routine and paying attention to each pet’s individual personality and needs. I provide fresh food and water, playtime, exercise, companionship, litter-box cleaning, and plenty of patience. I carefully follow the owner’s instructions and send regular updates so they know how their pet is doing. I have experience caring for cats belonging to family and friends, and I have two cats and a two-year-old dog named Kona of my own. In a client’s home, I respect their space, keep things clean, and make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away
“Alysa was so sweet!! She took care of the cats and dealt with our young kittens wild personality. She took time to send plenty of pictures of them and update anytime I asked. She's very thoughtful and considerate. I would 15 out of 10 recommend her to anyone looking for someone who truly cares about their furbabies!!!!!?”

Rebecca is seriously the best! She really cares for our dogs while we’re gone. It’s not just a quick thing to check off her list, you can tell she actually cares and wants them to be taken care of and happy even though their mom and dad are gone! She’s reliable and responsible and goes above and beyond! I don’t feel like we need to over explain or give 1000 directions, she’s got it covered and it’s easy to work with her. So glad we found her on here! Thank you Rebecca!

Kristina did an excellent job with my boy Dexter and of course all the other babies. He takes time to trust but she brought special treats, didn’t try too hard to win his heart and won it anyway! I am so thankful because it is such a relief not having to worry about him when I am gone. Thank you so very much!

Amy and Grace provided exceptional care for my Bernese Rudy while I was gone. It was the first time he was cared for by a non-family member so I was a bit apprehensive as he’s a senior at 8 1/2. He did great and the girls were wonderful with him! They were timely. Provided pictures of a very happy boy! My heartfelt thanks! I would highly recommend Amy and Grace and will certainly call on them again when the need arises. Thank you again, ladies for taking such good care of my best friend!
We couldn’t be happier with our Rover sitter Jennelle! As golden retriever lover, she truly understood our two pups and cared for them like her own. She was always on time, consistent, and reliable. It gave us such peace of mind knowing they were in great hands. Highly recommend! 🐾

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Appleton with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
