About: Hi, I'm Melissa! I grew up surrounded by pets, and that passion grew into a lifelong career in animal care. I bring over a decade of professional facility experience to Rover, including serving as a Pack Leader at Tailwaggers Doggy Daycare and spending seven years as a specialized Caregiver at the world-renowned Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Utah. There, I worked with dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and behavioral needs, including dog-selective and dog-aggressive behaviors. Currently, I keep my skills sharp working part-time as a Kennel Technician at a daycare and boarding facility right here in Green Bay. ​Because of my professional background, I’m highly experienced with administering medications, recognizing subtle body language, and reinforcing basic training. I know how important routine is, so I am more than happy to strictly follow whatever household rules you have set for your pet. Whether your furbaby is a social butterfly or a quiet soul who needs a patient, gentle approach, I have the intuitive skills to make them feel safe and loved. ​When I’m not caring for your pets, I’m hanging out with my own senior "puppy," a 9-year-old dog named Alba (pictured with me!), and my 14-year-old "kitten." I love house-sitting, overnight stays, and dog walking, and my ultimate goal is to give you total peace of mind while you're away. I can’t wait to meet your furbabies! My part-time schedule as a local kennel technician makes me incredibly flexible for pet sitting! I work from 7:00 AM – 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM – 6:30 PM (about 25 hours a week), which leaves my entire midday window from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM wide open for lunchtime walks, playtime, and companionship. I am also available for quick check-ins before my morning shift, and my evenings are completely free after 6:30 PM for late-night cuddles and dedicated overnight stays. Because my daily job already centers around professional feeding, medicating, and cleaning, keeping your pet's routine seamless and sanitary between my shifts is second nature to me! My goal is to keep your pets in their happiest, most comfortable element, which is why I specialize in caring for them right in their own home! With over a decade of professional animal facility experience and a huge heart for all creatures, I pride myself on being the next best thing to you when you’re away. I am fully backed by Rover and prioritize open, consistent communication—sending you regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing they are in safe hands. About: I have worked at a dog daycare for 3 years as a shit lead. I also am trained in medication administration and bathing. I have had a passion for animals for as long as I can remember. I am currently available for all your pups needs as I am focusing on my clients for dog sitting and walking/drop ins so I have plenty of time to play with your pup(s)! In client’s home I follow their guidelines on how they feel best it is for me to take out their pets. At my own home they would be leashed as I don’t have a fenced in yard. At night and during the day they can be kenneled if preferred, otherwise they would be in a separate area from my pup when no one is home to supervise.

About: I had a dog and cats growing up but as an adult I rescued a German Shephard Mix named Jaxon. I learned a lot just taking care of him but I got a job at Wags and Whiskers Pet Resort and worked with a wide variety of dogs from small to large and a range of behaviors. I feel like working with dogs is a gift I got from God and I'm able to work well with them and like them more than most humans. I'm caring and compassionate and always do what's best for the dog. I can provide treats for the dogs based on if there are allergies or not and can take good pictures of the dogs as I have experience doing it at the pet resort and could send you them while you are away from them! I work during the day during the week but nights and weekends I will be free to stop in and check on your dog or whatever you need. I cannot have any more animals where I live since I live in an apartment but would be able to at the customer's home. My dog has a kennel at home for when I'm gone, he feels safer in there with the noise from the apartment building. We play in the apartment and outside and go on long walks and hikes often!

About: Grew up with a cat and dog. Every animal I own is considered part of the family and loved very much. I’ve worked in a vet- cleaned kennels, walk dogs, give medications. I will never go without a dog! I have a mini bernadoodle and will dog sit the other dog in the photos. I prefer small to medium dogs but would consider a large dog. I work remotely from home. I walk my dog twice a day and let him run in the backyard. My yard is fenced in but I keep a close eye on Duke. I allow my dog on furniture and cuddle while I work remotely. Well take breaks and make time to play or let him out for fresh air.

About: I’ve been around animals since I was 8 years old, when my family adopted a miniature schnauzer. Even before then, we had everything from hamsters to fish and the like, kid pets, ya know? Following our dog’s passing, I’ve helped care for a senior cat that my parents had and also three different orange cats that my wife and I have shared over the last three years! Being a cat owner, there isn’t too much of my non-work daily or weekly schedule that isn’t taking care of them: cleaning the litter box, keeping their automatic feeder and water filled, giving them wet food and playing with them! Caring for your cats animals as I have in the past will fight right in with my schedule, and I can’t wait to work with you! I always make sure to take myself on a walk daily, and I’d love to take your best friend with me! I get in 1-2 miles daily, but I am willing to adjust this to fit your pets needs. In your home I’d love to feed, spend time and play with, and care for your pet.

About: I have taken care of all kinda of animal since i was a kid. I have worked at a doggy daycare for a few years and i now work at a pet store. I work full time but i am more than willing to do after and before work! I usually have a couple of days off in a row. I love animals and i would do anything that makes them happy. I would do all of the pets, cuddles, and play that they want and deserve. I will make sure they have food at specified times and make sure they have enough water at all times.

About: I am very proud to be a "fear free handler". That's a big thing for me, if an animal is uncomfortable, I am 100% uncomfortable along with them.. learning their little quirks and finding ways to do things in the best way possible for that specific animal is what I do and I absolutely love doing it. About: I have grown up with 1-2 dogs since I was 5 years old and helped my parents train our second dog when I was 11. I love watching my parents dogs whenever they need and I have two dogs of my own that are my fur babies. I am a nurse who works 3 days a week and every third weekend so I usually have most of the week available. I love dogs and would really enjoy this experience in my free time. I have a fenced in yard and have two dogs of my own. I also have a kennel if needed, and can section off parts of the house with dog gates.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs and cats of my own and have done lots of pet sitting for my friends and family: Cats, dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs and hamsters. I worked at a veterinary office for 6 years until I became a physical therapist. I love all animals and will treat yours as I would my own. I’m currently still working as a physical therapist, and I plan to retire in October 2026. But my current schedule is such that I have days where I go in late or come home early so I can accommodate overnight pet sitting or dog walking. I prefer to do overnight pet sitting in your home, as that is what your pet is used to and will feel more comfortable with. I will follow any instructions you give me and abide by any pet rules you have in your home. I will give them lots of love!!

About: I had my own dog who lived to be 18! He required senior citizen care when he got old, I’ve handled and dealt with elderly dogs. I’ve taken care of neighbors, family’s, & friends dogs my entire life, filling the soft spot we all have in our heart for pups! I work as a nurse so on my days off I love to spend time outside with some furry friends! They provide a good stress relief for the chaotic days. I will respect your home and your dogs personal space! I will do whatever you ask of me to do, making the dog feel safe at home with a new person around!

About: I've been taking care of animals since I was very young. Fur babies seem to seek me out, whether it is in nature or encounters on the street; you can catch me waving at animals before humans (lol). I've had dogs, cats, a horse, and bunnies off and on throughout my life. I just lost my bunny George, so finding Rover is the perfect opportunity to get some fur baby time in to help mourn my little love 🥲 Im excited to love on your babies if you'll have me 🫶 I'm currently very flexible with my time as I make my own hours. I would like to fill my time with fur babies as much as possible :) I will follow any instruction you have regarding your home and your furry companions. About: My experience ranges from farm animals to simple pets. With multiple years of fosters and my own pets, I am ready to tackle any of your furry friends. I have worked in dog facilities and vet clinics, and have genuinely seen it all! I am a full-time employee at a vet clinics, but typically have off Thursdays & thorough the weekend!! My availability will vary so be on the look out for my open hours!! I live on a vast farm, so most of my care will talk place outside of my property.. however I love hiking and long walks so would be happy to take pets for an adventure!! If your pet is more comfortable at home, I would never say no to a quiet hang out session at theirs.
