About: For as long as I can remember our family has owned and cared for varying pets as my children have grown. We've had several dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, fish, hamsters and birds. As time has gone by and the children have grown and left and pets have passed away I miss the company and comfort only a pet can provide. Now that I'm retired and without pets of my own I have the time to care for the pets of others when their owners need to be away. Since I also travel, it provides the best "pet fix" without being tied down with owning one of my own again. I think you'll find me loving, reliable and conscientious. About: I've spent my entire life having animals and loved them for my entire life. I've had cats my entire life, and often this is not lent itself well to me also owning a dog. We currently own three cats one 12 year old lady, and two 2 year old brothers. When I was young I would walk the neighbor's dog just so I could get some dog time in. In college and after college I had several roommates who had dogs I lived with, who I would also help care for either just for fun or while they were gone. I have also taken care of friends dogs while they are out of town on vacation. I have experience with cats from 6 weeks old all the way up to end of life. About: I grew up with all kinds of animals including dogs, cats, horses, ducks, and rabbits. I also had a great deal of time with other animals such as cows, and chickens at my Grandpa's dairy farm. One of my past jobs was being a dog sitter, to care for them, and do some training as well.
