We both work from home with flexible schedules. We’re ready to continue your daily routine to keep the upheaval to a minimum for you and your family. We are available 7 days a week and can work around your schedule as needed.

As people who have owned and loved flight risk dogs, we understand the amount of anxiety that comes along with trusting another person to care for your family. We are careful, meticulous and pay close attention to each pet’s needs. We recognize that your trust is a privilege and always use gentle, reward-based approaches to help your pets feel comfortable, safe and understood. You can count on us to treat your babies with respect and give them the same TLC that we do our own.

Let us know if your pets have any medical concerns or behavioral quirks. We’re happy to work around any needs that they may have and want everyone set up for success! Have a dog that is an escape artist, counter surfs or has an achy back? Or a cat that prefers exactly 4 inches of litter or requires its food on a specific plate? No problem! Just let us know so we can keep everyone happy and safe.
A typical day
We want to help your pets be as comfortable as possible by continuing the routine that they’re used to, including feeding and potty schedules, exercise, play and training regimens. We are more than happy to cuddle and play with your animals, and enjoy playing fetch, tug of war, trick training (even cats!) and finding creative ways to get their energy out. If you have a senior pet that has specific activities they like (or lack of activity) we’re happy to accommodate those, too. If you have supplies, we will leave food puzzles or enrichment toys for your animals before we leave. We believe it’s important to find things that your pet enjoys. Every pet is different!

Pet care experience
Hi, we’re Amy & Grace! We work as a team to look after your pets with the same attention to detail and care that you take with them. We’re comfortable with cats and dogs of all sizes and have experience offering medical support at home with everything from medications and supplements to injections and fluids. We’ve owned & cared for animals with dementia, anxiety, reactivity, heart & kidney disease, strict diets, mobility challenges, and those who are elderly and skittish. We know the level of patience, compassion and sensitivity that is needed. We both grew up in animal-loving homes, with pets ranging from cats to Llasa Apsos to St. Bernards, and we have owned our own pets for 15 years. Our current zoo includes a Miniature Schnauzer, a Chihuahua/Chinese Crested mix, a Maine Coon cat, and 2 Burmese cats. In the past, we had two Miniature Schnauzers, one of which was an anxious rescue. We understand that it may take time for your animals to feel comfortable with strangers and have a soft spot for senior pets and critters that need a little extra care. We also have experience with fish, rabbits, guinea pigs, and some reptiles.

Amy and Grace provided exceptional care for my Bernese Rudy while I was gone. It was the first time he was cared for by a non-family member so I was a bit apprehensive as he’s a senior at 8 1/2. He did great and the girls were wonderful with him! They were timely. Provided pictures of a very happy boy! My heartfelt thanks! I would highly recommend Amy and Grace and will certainly call on them again when the need arises. Thank you again, ladies for taking such good care of my best friend!
