About: Experienced caring for dogs of all sizes, along with house cats, rodents and reptiles. Particular experience with medium and large size dogs who are anxious/reactive. Rates lowered while I establish myself on Rover. I work from home, so your dog will get a lot of attention when I care for them (and they'll probably get a nickname or two). Walks, bathroom breaks, visits to the dog park, and lots of pets and ear scratches all fit into my daily and weekly schedule with ease. I am willing to book outside of my typical radius for an increased fee to offset mileage, gas costs, and time. I have a lot of experience with anxious dogs in particular, so am used to reading what a dog needs and wants with a close eye. I take care to make sure that a dog is comfortable with me, that I respect their boundaries, that I respond to their needs, and that we remove ourselves from any situation that might upset or overwhelm them. I often ask a pet owner for details about their dog's usual routine, any particular habits they have, their behavior on leash, and what gives them comfort. This helps me better respond to what the dog is sharing about their needs.

About: My role as an animal caretaker began at the age of 6 and has only increased in species types. In addition to caring for my own animals (dogs, cats, cattle, horses, chickens, etc.), I have worked professionally in the veterinary field for the past 6 years. This Fall, I am going into my second year of veterinary school at the University of Wisconsin, and I currently work at UW Veterinary Care on the Small Animal surgery team💉! I am equipped to care for pets of all sizes, behavioral quirks, and medical needs, and am so honored to be considered as a care companion for your furry friends! 😊 As a future dogtor in training, pet care is part of my everyday routine. In addition to caring for my own animals, I am always searching for new care opportunities to diversify my skills, whether that is in a professional clinic, sanctuary, or volunteer setting. I am an organized individual who enjoys living by plan and routine and in my experience, many of our furry companions do as well. I prefer getting to meet with pets before my care window begins to get a physical run down of their routine and establish a familiar relationship with them. My attention to detail allows me to easily follow written and verbal instructions and be equipped to troubleshoot if needed.

“Jennifer is great! We'd love for her to walk our dog again (in fact we already rebooked). We needed help once a week with our 8mo puppy. Jennifer always picks him up on schedule and returns him happy and well exercised! Our dog loves everyone but my husband is convinced the pup loves Jennifer extra.”

About: I’ve been caring for pets for years, starting with walking dogs for my neighbors — from tiny terriers to big, energetic labs. That hands-on experience taught me how to handle different sizes, breeds, and personalities with confidence and care. What sets me apart is my calm, reliable nature and genuine love for animals. I’m comfortable with leash training, reading dog body language, and keeping even the most energetic pups engaged and happy. I’m also attentive to each pet’s needs — whether that means a brisk walk, a slow stroll for a senior, or extra cuddle time. Your pet’s safety, routine, and happiness always come first with me. I have a very flexible schedule and am available anytime — weekdays, weekends, and even holidays. Pet care fits perfectly into my routine because I truly enjoy spending time with animals and can easily adjust my day around their needs. Whether it's an early morning walk, midday visit, or evening check-in, I’m ready whenever your pet needs me. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat it as my own. I follow all routines closely from feeding times to walks and medication and always prioritize your pet’s comfort and safety. I keep a calm, clean environment and make sure pets feel secure, whether they’re outgoing or shy. I pay close attention to details like locked doors, clean water bowls, and tidy spaces. I’m also happy to send regular updates and photos, so you can feel confident and connected while you're away.

“Alisyn did a great job with Willis! Her feedback was helpful and it was nice to know he was being well taken care of. Alisyn worked with us on everything we needed. Highly recommend! We will be continuing to use her services.”

About: Have had dogs all my life. Dog sitting experience. Veterinary work experience. I’m reliable & trustworthy. Love dogs of all kinds. They are just the best. I work nights, so I’m available for most times during the day. I don’t work every night though, so if you need a late check in or something just let me know what you’re thinking. My pup passed away 2.5 years ago so I’m just looking to spend some quality time with some dogs while I’m in school and have a good excuse to get outside 😊 🩷 Will pick up/drop off, bathe if needed, or run with your dog if they are needing a little more exercise. I have my boarding/daycare turned off at the moment because I live in a 550 sqr ft apartment and for most dogs, I feel that that would not be fair. But if you have either a small dog or a unique situation where this would be okay, just let me know what you’re thinking, because my apartment is dog friendly and has a dog bathing station in the garage. I may consider it on a case by case basis.

About: I have had dogs my entire life. They ranged from puppies all the way to them becoming senior dogs, and they all came from very different backgrounds. I am especially good with senior dogs. My childhood dog eventually had severe arthritis and needed medication and some extra help. I would do anything for her that helped her feel more comfortable! I also puppysit for some family members so I am also used to the craziness a puppy can bring! I am currently available most days at any time until August 11. My cat does need medication at 8pm, but any other time of the day works for me! I can care for your pets however you need in your home! Whether it's going on a walk, playing outside, or staying inside, whatever is best for them is doable!

About: I regularly walk and check in on a dog four times a week and have pet sat for several families. I’ve also helped care for my grandma’s dog over the years. I’m reliable, patient, and always make sure pets feel safe and cared for. I am currently on summer break, so I have a pretty high availability to care for pets — through boarding, quick walks, drop in visits, etc! I provide a calm, safe environment and always follow care instructions closely. Though I don’t have a fenced yard, I’m comfortable caring for dogs and cats — supervising pets carefully to ensure their safety and comfort at all times.

“Michelle is great!! My dog is very shy and slow to warm up to people so I was worried about finding someone to walk him while we are at work but Michelle has been awesome!”

“Meeka was amazing! She was very thorough and made sure that Sadie had a good time on her walks! She sent lots of pictures and gave me a detailed summary of her cares. Would definitely recommend ☺️”

About: Since I was 10, I’ve lived with and cared for dogs, cats, rabbits, lizards, and even a mouse or two! I know how important it can be to adapt to individual pets’ unique personalities, and I try to spend a little extra time with new pets to build trust. I’m a first year medical student at UW, so I have a flexible schedule during business hours on weekdays and am free most evenings and weekends! For dog walking, I have experience with all sizes and energy levels of dogs. For pet sitting, I am very thorough with instructions to ensure your pet is happy and secure in your home. And I’m always happy to provide pictures while you’re away!
