“Lindsay and Joshua were amazing with Dante. They provided frequent updates with pictures and even let us know Dante had lost a tooth. We could tell Dante was having a lot of fun which put our minds at ease especially since this was our puppy’s first boarding.”

“Tyler is the BEST! We feel so fortunate to have met him for Gucci’s stay. He took a great care of Gucci and spoiled him with love, cuddles and walks. We were able to go on a vacation with peace of mind knowing that Gucci was in safe hands and truly loved. Thank you, Tyler!!”

“Kristy and Nathan did a good job taking care of both my dogs. They really care about the wellbeing of the pets and it really shows once you meet them. They were very communicative and responsive throughout their stay.”

About: 🔔Dog-gone savings alert!🔔 Book a first-time 30-minute walk and save! I’m offering $3 off your first walk (adjusted upon booking of service) and all you need to do, is book today and leave an honest review based on your experience! ☺️🐶 I’ve grown up around dogs, always having a family dog to be responsible for. When I moved away for college, The house felt so empty without a furry companion, so I began fostering. I quickly became a failed foster, as I fell in love with my little pittie mix way too easy. We’ve traveled across the US together and I eventually rescued a sister for her because (like most pibbles), she needs all the attention and friendship she can find. I have over 5 years experience with pitties/ large discriminatory breeds, and although I have a heart for all breeds, those steal my heart. I work full time m-f with a flexible job, so I can adjust, depending on the day. However, the majority of my availability is in the mornings, evenings or weekends! I have (2) dogs at home and am used to having arms full of leashes. We walk in busier areas, but I tend to keep shorter leashes and stray from other dogs, for caution unless I have a single leash with control and know the dogs body language. My dogs only meet others on mutual land and on-leash. See calendar for updated schedule! I’m flexible on timing/days. Just shoot me a message to see if so can help! Looking forward to meeting you! I am currently only doing walks, as I have (2) dogs of my own. If it’s urgent or you are in a bind, I may accept boarding on special occasions. Message me to ask if I can help!
“I do not have enough words to leave for this perfect couple. They took my energetic dog for a week and showed her so much love every day. Between walks, playing fetch and cuddles in their bed, I would 120% recommend them to anyone and we will be using them again.”

“My dog stayed at her place for basically a week and I could tell he enjoyed his stay. Andrea sent me photos and videos to let me know he was having fun. This isn’t the first time she takes care of him so every time I drop him off he gets excited to see her and even jumps out or my arms to be with her, so that’s how I know he enjoys his stay. She’s just great !”

“Dawn is an absolute joy to work with. She took amazing care of our two shelties abs md they were obviously well taken care of. Her communication was excellent, not only did she send pictures every day but let us know what they were doing every day. In short not only do I highly recommend Dawn but would definitely book her again.”

“Micki had my boy for a little less than two weeks. I never worried about his care while I was gone. I always know he is having a good time with her”

“Thor and I love Sevana. Thor was a little ill while with Sevana and she took very good care of him with no complaints. Sevana went over and beyond with her care of Thor. She kept me up to date and sent pictures and Thor looked very happy. I would definitely have Sevana watch Thor again in the future. Sevana is awesome!”

“Our dog loved staying at Charlene’s and we super appreciated how communicative Charlene is with giving daily updates. We will definitely have our dog stay with Charlene again!!”

“Heather was great! Super friendly & communicative, sent pictures throughout Coopers stay and it looked like the dogs had a great time hanging together. Would definitely book again”

“Peaches seemed to have a wonderful weekend stay! She got lots of walks and I was updated with pictures. I felt assured knowing my fur baby was in good hands :)”

“Our pup, Ada, had a fantastic stay with Cassandra and Steven. She looked right at home. Their communication was great and they made us feel very comfortable that she was well cared for. We will definitely have her stay with them again in the future.”

“Keri and her resident animals were wonderful with my pup! She sent thoughtful updates with pictures and videos throughout the stay. I could tell my dog was having the time of her life!”

“Nicole was wonderful with my dog, Max. She was responsive and sent photos. Her immaculately clean house and yard are the perfect set up for dog sitting. I will absolutely use her again.”

“Amber was awesome with our pups! She send pictures throughout the stay and made me feel so comfortable knowing they were in good hands and having fun with the other pups.”

“Tamara is best. She takes the best care of my little Archie. Sends photos where I can see how happy and relaxed he is with her. He is always happy to see her and I feel very good leaving Archie with her. I've left with him her multiple times for a week, and I don't even feel the need to check in much because I feel so comfortable he is in good hands.”

Taylor did an amazing job taking care of our pet! She was reliable, attentive, and communicated with us throughout the entire stay, which gave us peace of mind. We really appreciate the care she provided and would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy pet sitter. We would happily book with her again!

Maggie was an incredible dog sitter. Our dog loves smaller dogs & with her little Ollie poo it was a match made in heaven. There's plenty of space in the home, there is a back patio. Plenty of places to take him for a walk. We did an initial meet and greet that was like we were all old pals. The photos and videos were perfect and I loved there was no pressure to respond to each one. Give Maggie a go and your dog will have a great time.

Tyler is fantastic! He took such good care of our high energy cattle dog - including daily walks, runs and even rollerblading! We have never seen Tucker kept so active and well loved while with a sitter and we can’t wait to rebook again soon. Highly recommend trusting Tyler with your pup ☺️

Carly was awesome. Our dog Archie stayed with Carly for a week and he had the best time! Carly sent daily pictures and videos and was super communicative and accommodating with our crazy travel plans during the holidays. Archie got along with her dogs very well; overall a great boarding! Would use Carly's services again, 100% no hesitation.

I am very pleased with Kelly’s care of my pooch, a 1 yr old Boxer. He played well with Kelly’s dogs and was eager to stay with Kelly (we did a meet and greet prior that went well.) Rolo came home happy and VERY tired! I’m sure they played non-stop. I won’t hesitate to contact Kelly again.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Altura home-away-from-home, packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Altura.
Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Altura sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
