Hello all! I'm Rachel and I would love to take care of your pets! I am originally from Connecticut and moved to Denver February 2014. I am a Bel Rea graduate as a Registered Veterinary Technician. I work for Sploot Veterinary Care in RiNo. My Catahoula, Copper and I walk to the nearby parks such as City Park, as well as enjoy going to Cherry Creek Reservoir and up to the mountains for hikes in Evergreen. My days starts around 6/7 am, depending on what each dog needs, we may play in the fenced yard or start with fetch early on. All dogs will have some afternoon downtime to nap or play with some chew toys. I personally like the dogs sleeping on the bed but there are plenty of dog beds that they should feel right at home. Don't be surprised if your dog comes home with a bone or a new toy, I am a sucker for spoiling especially since I pass a Pet store. Lastly, if I don't tucker out your pup I know Copper will. Rachel was absolutely wonderful to work with. We were able to book her services last minutes while we were traveling abroad and she was extremely flexible regarding communication and pickup/drop off arrangements. She sent us pictures and updates every day and our pup had a great time with her.

Rachel was a great communicator and super flexible around drop off/pick up. She sent so many cute pics of my dog throughout her stay and gave her tons of play time/exercise (including with other dogs, Pepper’s fav). I fully recommend!! :)

Schedule
I work typically 3 or 4 days a week at a veterinary urgent care called Sploot. It is a mile from my house as well as very flexible in daily scheduling to come and go through the day.

I have a fenced yard as well as security cameras around the home and property. Can check on dogs in home if I am away or additionally take them to work with me.
Pets
A typical day
My dog loves taking walks near REI and around the neighborhood. If we have the chance and I love heading to golden or evergreen for a few hours to get a quick hike in with the dogs. But if in my home I keep plenty of toys and stimulation.
