About: Love all animals and prioritize their health, safety, and happiness. Very comfortable taking care of any aged pet, as well as taking the time to tailor my care to their specific needs (food, medications, any other habits, etc.) I have completely open availability for any time on any day(s)! Overnight is totally fine, please see section on cancellation and notices for further information! Will not be able to board your pets, but at your home I will have complete respect of your space and privacy, my main priority is your animal!

About: I have had experience with dogs for 18 years, ever since my parents got a dog for us when I was 8 years old and I had to help train it and care for it. Ever since, my family has had more dogs i’ve helped train and care for, and I have had roommates and friends with dogs that I’ve helped train and care for (including puppies, service dogs, and dogs who are elderly/ill). I am a consistent cat caretaker ever since I turned 19, when I got my first cat (7 years ago). Ever since, I have felt drawn to care for kitties and have fostered many kittens and cats since, in addition to caring for my own 2. I owned a ball python for a year or two, and my father has for six years. My sister also owned a leopard gecko for five years. I also cared for multiple guinea pigs to help out a friend for a long time. I’ve also had friends and family that have had birds that I have helped care for in the past, however, I have less experience with them. In conclusion, no matter the type, breed, size, age or health of your pet, it is important to me to make our companions/partners in life feel loved and cared for, and I would be honored to be a part of that! It is a large portion of my daily routine as is, and I would love for it to be an even larger part, especially if this could help provide means to live for my pets and I (finances) because due to certain conditions I am unable to work a normal job. I would care for your pets with kindness, love and patience. If you have any questions or concerns I would love to discuss them and I’m sure we could figure something out!

“Amanda was great! This was the first time I had left my dog and cat for so long (10 days) and was out of the country as well. She sent updates and pictures multiple times a day, responded quickly and took great care of them both. She even stopped by the house the day we got back to make sure we were home (she had heard flights were cancelled from where we were flying from and wanted to make sure my dog was let out - super conscientious and reliable!) I would definitely book again!”

About: I’m the owner of Barnyard Pet Retreat. I do dog/cat boarding out of my own home. It’s my full time job so I’ll be with them at all times. I have multiple dogs of my own and I am home full time. So, your fur babies will be monitored and loved at all times! I have a great potty routine that my dogs are currently on. I have anywhere from small dogs to big dogs in my household so your fur baby will have a lot of company. I can cage your dogs if needed or my own for your fur baby’s comfort.

About: I grew up in a household caring for pets of every kind; cats, dogs, birds! Fish! I currently have a puppy of my own and pet-sit often for friends and family as well! I’m working part time, typically no more than three days a week, and taking online classes this summer for college. My availability is mostly during the week, and occasionally Saturdays, starting at early mornings after I care for my own dog Making sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for in the absence of their primary caregiver is my top priority. Having a dog who’s wary of strangers, I understand and am completely committed to doing what I was hired to do and making sure pets get the care they deserve no matter the level of introversion or anxiety.

About: I’m a 19 year old student at UNC Charlotte and have grown up with dogs my entire life, so caring for animals comes very naturally to me. I’ve also dog and cat sat many times for friends, family, and others, including feeding, walking, playing, and overnight care. I’m comfortable with pets of different sizes and personalities, and I always make sure to follow routines closely so pets feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. I’m reliable, attentive, and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. Pet care fits easily into my daily routine. I have classes in the mornings until around 12, which leaves me free for the rest of the day and evenings. I’m available for check-ins, feedings, walks, and overnight stays with pets throughout the afternoon and night. I’m also flexible with my schedule and can adjust to meet a pet’s specific routine, whether that means multiple visits a day or staying longer to make sure they’re comfortable and cared for. When caring for pets in my clients’ homes, I always follow their specific instructions closely to keep their pet’s routine as consistent as possible. I make sure pets are fed on time, have fresh water, get plenty of attention, and any other care they need like walks, playtime, or litter box cleaning. I’m respectful of my clients’ homes and keep everything clean and organized. I also like to provide updates and photos so owners feel comfortable knowing their pet is happy and well cared for while they’re away.

She was more than accommodating with the weird schedule we had. I highly recommend Kristen and she even gave extra love to the additional indoor and outdoor animals (she was only responsible for one dog!). About: I currently have 2 dogs and 3 cats, and I have had fur babies my whole life. I currently work part-time at a doggy daycare, and take care of about 100+ dogs a day. I also have had experience dog sitting as well as cat sitting in the past! I work part-time currently, but am cutting back on my hours, so I will be available a lot of the time to care for puppies and not so puppies and even cats. I also am on summer break until August from school, so that isn’t a factor either. Currently I spend a lot of time playing with my own pups at home, but we also have them crate trained, and e-collar trained, so that is something that I am completely comfortable with if that is something you have in your home!
