“My corgi had such a great week hanging out with Kirsten and her crew! Kirsten was super flexible & friendly, and my pup came home happy & chill. Thank you!!”

Matt C.

“This has been the best experience. My pup gets the exercise, love and socialization he needs. I get updates, fun pics/vids and a little break. He runs straight in the door and never wants to leave. He’s lobbying for a permanent position in their family. I’m so appreciative to have a home to send my pup where he is love and free to be the little herder he is 😍”

Jan & Paul J.

“Jan and Paul are a nice couple who truly loves dogs, theirs and yours. Jan sends me pictures and updates soon after I left to let me know that Haiku has calmed down, which is a big relieve for me. We are definitely booking with Jan again both for daycare and overnight if I am out of town.”

Chad D.
“Chad loves pets. He always makes sure animals are taken care of and loved. He wants to make sure the pets feel like they are on vacation while in his care. He will always stop to pet a dog if possible. Chad loves taking his dog Bruin to the dog park and loves going on walks”

Katharina K.

“Katharina was wonderful, my pup was definitely happy and throughly played with as was evident through her happy smile. She accepted my request despite the short notice and took plenty of pictures of my pup for me to see❤️ thank you!!”

Mark B.

“Mark was great. He has a nice house with a fenced back yard to play in. He was very friendly and flexible when I had to stay late at work. He even took Kahlua for walks and sent pictures during the day.”

Katie P.
“I was coming through the Washington area short notice for a work commitment and I was able to find katie! She accepted watching my 5 year old bull mastiff pit mix overnight for a continuous of 6 days. I got many updates and photos. She did a great job communicating and I appreciate you taking Jack so last minute!”

About: Hi my name is Valerie! I have had pets my whole life and currently have a 9 month old pup. I am a huge animal lover and always will be. I understand the nervousness of having someone new watch your pets. I am home all day everyday! That means your pet will always have attention & love :). I love spending time with my Munsie, daily walks & dog parks all day for us! I have lots of experience caring for other animals & my pup Munsie is the sweetest of girls. We love meeting & caring for furbabies of all kinds. We currently have an unfenced yard (fence is being put up oct 15). But no worries! We just use the yard to go potty now & we take multiple adventures outside. Our home stays very clean & tidy (we have a puppy who will chew anything). Our daily routines include lots of snuggles, dog parks & walks. There is a huge fenced field across from our house we love to take our dog to! As well as caring for pets in my home I am very respectful of other peoples homes.

About: Let’s dive right in, shall we? I’ve taken care of and adored dogs on a personal scale ever since I can remember. Not to brag, but I was the go-to neighborhood dog walker as a young human growing up. Focusing more on my own family, we’ve owned small-large pooches in all age ranges with a variety of needs such as birthing puppies, administering oral medication, and of course, tending to each dog’s unique personality. I also have experience with rescue dogs who have undergone trauma and need help adjusting and acclimating into a new life within a loving space. With 20+ years of experience either watching over other’s beloved pups or having the privilege of owning my own, I feel confident in my skills to cater to each and every need your dog may have to put their parent's mind at ease while they're in my care. As for felines, my goodness they’re a treat. Similar to my dog experience, I have several decades of cat care under my belt. Through my years of catering to my neighbor’s and friend’s kitties in addition to their pups, I have had the pleasure of living with roommates who’ve had these peculiar and wonderful creatures. With this bonus, I’ve learned the ebbs and flows of cats is crucial to pay attention to for a happy kitty and home. One thing kitties obviously need is a regularly scooped liter box, which I will take care of while in their care. I will also keep your kitties entertained in their favorite ways to keep them stimulated, active, and purring. In other words, your fur babies and their paws will be in loving and caring hands. 🤲🏻🐾❤️ I’m currently a full-time student and physically at school Monday - Thursday. My current school schedule consists of the following: Monday: 7:30 - 5pm Tuesday: 7:30 - 5pm Wednesday: 7:30 - 4pm Thursday: 7:30 - 4pm Being a student, my schedule does change every 3 months or so, but I’ll do anything I can to be flexible for dog walks, playtime, potty breaks, breakfast/dinner, or any other dog or cat merriment/task that is needed for the well-being of your pet. If you’re comfortable with leaving your pet unattended for long periods of time, I have no problem doing overnight stays during the week while I’m in school as well. We can discuss that in more detail when we meet and chat about your pet’s needs, of course. 😊 My two dogs (Geronimo & Chance) are free to roam about the house as they please whether I’m home or not. They are both house-trained and get along famously together. I have a large fenced backyard at their disposal. They get potty breaks every 2 hours as well as lots of outside time playing fetch, tug-a-war, or just quick jog around the yard. I’ll exercise with them at least 3 times a day for 20-30 minutes. Usually when I need a computer/study break. 😅 Often, I have them outside enjoying the nice days taking in the sun and wildlife at their leisure. In addition, I have a partner (Josh) who takes care of our boys while I’m not home or asleep (due to our opposing schedules). He has the same amount of pet experience as I do, and is an absolute master of getting our boys to play their little hearts out when he gets home from his day. I would trust him with any and all dog care and needs. If your pets are in my care, I’ll always ask you about their exercise/activity routines and energy levels to gain an idea of how much exercise and stimulation to give them. I have found a worn-out creature is a happy creature. If your pet has any sort of health condition, I would very much appreciate information regarding their health before I watch over them so I can be as prepared as possible for your pet(s).

About: I have experience watching big dogs with high amounts of energy and implementing their training, not professionally, just the basics, like not jumping on people. I have gotten compliments for when the dogs have come home well behaved and taken care of. I partner with my brother so that we are able to take care of your pets at any time! I currently am taking online college courses and working online. I am available to take care of your pets throughout the day and on top of that since I partner with my brother on this, he is able to also care for your pets too! He has done a lot of research about dogs throughout the years and caring for them is one of his favorite things to do! I have a trail right near my house which is a great place to take pets on long walks. There are two cats in the house who would love to be introduced to new friends and some small caged animals that can provide a source of entertainment for your animal to be curious about.

“Michael is very friendly and reliable person. He watched my two cats multiple times. He played with them and made sure they are good when I was gone. I highly recommend him to anyone who needs care of their pets. Your pets are going to be in good hands.”

Ashley K.

“My sweet boy had such a great time with Ashley! She sent lots of photos throughout the day to reassure me that he was in good hands and was having fun playing with his new buddy. I highly recommend Ashley as a sitter and would use her services again in a heartbeat.”

“June 11, 2014 This is a recommendation for Lisa Vandermoss. Our animal Rescue “Our Last Hope” has been blessed having Lisa on our team as one of our dog fosters. She has been life (literally) saving on multiple occasions and a gem of a person to turn to for a task that not many will do. And that’s just regarding the dogs! She’s a good friend and I’m honored to have her as a friend. Lisa is detailed and intuitive, calming and soft spoken yet strong… very needed in the canine world (actually in the world period). I understand she is planning to help with dogs other than fostering since that doesn’t fit with life’s goings on at this time, and I promise the animals will be blessed by Lisa’s help. Please enjoy her services… I hope to grab her back someday in the future. Tamara Russell Our Last Hope ourlasthope.org”

Ciara F.

“Thanks Ciara for taking good care of Minnie! She was happy to visit. It is nice you have the grassy areas around your home and long sidewalk for her to go on nice fall walks.”

Denise M.

“Denise was awesome and filled in for me last minute. Kumo came home happy and tired and smelling better than when I dropped him off. Thank you Denise!”

About: I have grown up with and taken care of dogs or cats most of my life. As of last spring, we lost our family dog of 15 years, and her void is still felt today. I have thought of getting another dog, however I am not quite ready for that level of commitment, so I have been filling my fur-baby void by walking my neighbor's dog for the last several months. I forgot how much I missed having little paws join me! Which has brought me here. I have boarded dogs for friends in the past and thought that this would be a great way to spend time with someone else's furry family member without the long-term commitment of owning another dog. I think of it as being the fun "auntie"! Come and hang with me while mom or dad take some time for themselves or need someone to watch their pet on short notice due to an unexpected trip or an extra-long day away from home. I work remotely, so no worries about morning or mid-day walks and frequent potty breaks, and I live close to two parks to play in. There is a lot of love and attention waiting to be shared with your fur-baby when they stay with me. I work remotely full-time with Friday's and weekends off, so I have flexibility to accommodate your pet's needs with frequent potty breaks, feeding schedule preferences and walks. When a pet is in my home, your pet becomes family and shown the love and attention they not only require but deserve. If pet care is preferred in your home (in cases of multiple pets which I cannot accommodate in my own), then I engage in the same manner and honor the system and schedule which you have in place for your pets.
