About: I’ve loved and cared for animals for as long as I can remember (I’ve been sneaking animals in my home since I was in diapers😌), and being around them truly makes me happiest. I’m incredibly empathetic toward animals (I don’t even kill bugs!), so every pet in my care is treated with gentleness, patience, and genuine love. The dogs in my photos are my beloved old pups (Milo the Golden Retriever and Yoshi the Shih Tzu) Milo was 8wks when I got him and Yoshi was 5wks — I don’t currently have any dogs, but I do have two friendly cats at home. Lucy my tiny little black cat🖤 and Foggy my orange menace 🧡 (both rescues) I have hands-on experience caring for and training my own dogs over the years, from large breeds like Dobermans to small breeds like Shih Tzus. I’ve also had cats my entire life so growing up half my cats were kitties I found, some even needing bottle feeding. I'm comfortable with all things feline — from playful kittens to independent seniors. Beyond dogs and cats, I’ve cared for chickens, birds, and many other kinds of pets throughout my life. I love getting to know each animal’s unique personality and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and happy while you’re away. I’m available for walks and drop-ins on weekdays from 7am–4pm and Sundays from 7am–1pm, with flexibility whenever possible to help fit your schedule (I remember how hard it was finding doggy daycare when I had my pups and ended up taking them to work with me) Whether your pet needs a fun walk, playtime, a potty break, or extra cuddles, I’m always happy to help! While I currently live in an apartment with a spacious balcony, please know that your pup won’t be cooped up inside all day! We will spend much time out exploring, enjoying fresh air, and getting in plenty of movement and mental stimulation. Walks, sniff breaks, and outdoor adventures are very important to me in order to keep a pup happy and healthy! I’d love to be your fur baby’s (and yours!) new friend and help make their day (also yours!😌) a little brighter!✨🐾🩷 I unfortunately don’t own a house and currently live in a third-floor apartment with a big back balcony, perfect for some fresh-air fun! I live near lots of parks and walking trails so being stuck inside my home will definitely not be an option.I have two friendly cats who can be tucked away if needed. My kiddos (ages 8–17) may occasionally be around (no school days) but they all love animals as much as I do and know how to respect boundaries, especially with pets who are a little skittish around kids.I love sharing updates! About: Hi! I’m Megan and I’ve been around animals for as long as I can remember. I got my very first dog when I was 7, and ever since then, dogs and cats have always been an important part of my life. Growing up, my family always had 1–2 dogs in the house, so caring for pets has always been second nature to me. Now, I share my home with a sweet dog and a cuddly cat, and I truly love giving them all the attention and care they need. When your pet stays with me, you can expect: - Lots of love, attention, and snuggles - Daily updates and cute photos - Clear, friendly communication - A safe, comfortable home where they’ll be treated like family I know how important it is to feel at ease when you’re away from your pets, so I’ll always go the extra mile to make sure they’re happy, comfortable, and cared for like my own. I work from home, so I can give your pets lots of attention throughout the day. Every 3–4 hours, we take walks around the neighborhood, and in the evenings, when the weather is nice, we head to our neighborhood dog park for some extra playtime. For kitties, I make sure they get plenty of indoor adventures to keep them happy and entertained. I live in a gated neighborhood, and there’s a fenced dog park just downstairs from my apartment, so dogs can safely enjoy walks and playtime. For cats, I make sure they have a safe indoor space to explore, and all our windows have secure screens so there’s no worry about them sneaking out.
