“I highly recommend Kalyn for anyone needing dependable care. She was professional, trustworthy, and followed all instructions perfectly. My cat requires oral medication, and she administered it without any issues or stress. Her communication was consistent and clear throughout the process. I felt very comfortable leaving my pet in her hands. We will rebook in the future.”

“Mary-Ann was great. Attentive to each cats personality. Knew when to play and knew when they just needed love (lots of pets). She helped put our mind at ease while traveling.”

“Keala was amazing. Very attentive and communicative. Appreciated the questions she asked in prep of caring for my cats - Sophia and Rain - and all the care and feedback she gave while I was away. Made the trip so much enjoyable knowing they were being well cared for. Thank you.”
About: Hi! I’m Jordan and I know how important it is to feel confident your pets are safe and cared for while you are away. I’ve cared for family dogs my whole life and started pet-sitting at 15 for neighbors and friends. My aunt trained Rottweilers in her home so I have experience around puppies and big dogs as well. Whether walks, feeding, playtime, or just company I’ll make sure your pet feels comfortable. I’m reliable, communicative, and happy to send updates and photos so you always know how your furry friend is doing. My goal is to give you peace of mind and your pets an stress-free, happy experience. I’m currently a graduate student at UH Mānoa studying oceanography. I mostly make my own schedule outside of a few meetings per week. I like to stay active and happy to take your pets on walks with me if they like it :) I live with fellow graduate students and 2 cats so I cannot care for pets on my property. I am willing to stop by your house daily or house sit as well, whatever you prefer
“Greg really helped us out at the last minute when our original dog sitter turned out to be unreliable. He was always on time and very conscientious. He also provided detailed updates and lots of photos. We would have no concerns about asking him to care for Tori again.”

About: I’m a reliable and experienced pet sitter with over 10 years of hands-on care for a wide range of animals, including dogs, cats, fish, and multi-pet households. I’ve completed stays ranging from a few days to over two weeks, and I’m comfortable managing multiple pets at once while keeping each one safe, happy, and on routine. What sets me apart is my experience across all life stages—from energetic puppies who need structure and patience to senior pets who require gentle care, attentiveness, and consistency. Having cared for my own senior dog as well as others, I understand the extra level of compassion and awareness older pets need. I prioritize clear communication, reliability, and treating every pet like they’re my own. I work full-time Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, but I’m available for pet care in the evenings and fully open on weekends. I build pet visits into my daily routine after work and dedicate my weekends to providing attentive, flexible care. I provide attentive, reliable care in your pet’s familiar environment, prioritizing their safety, comfort, and routine at all times. I treat your home with the utmost respect, keeping it clean, secure, and exactly how you left it while maintaining clear communication and updates you can trust. My goal is to create a calm, stress-free experience where both you and your pets feel completely at ease.
About: I got my first dog when I was 4 and started dog sitting for neighbors when I was 8. I worked with a group when I lived in Kansas City that did short term in-home dog fostering for 1 day to two weeks. My puppy experience comes from a few of my friends having puppies, but adult dogs are my favorite. I work full time from home, and can schedule walks in between meetings during the day. If the dog(s) are up for it I would love to take them hiking, SUPing, kayaking, to the beach, and to hang out with my friend's dogs. I prefer to keep the dog on a similar schedule to what they are used to and not overwhelm them with new experiences while their owners are gone. Please provide me with the needed information of your dog's routine.

About: Aloha! Growing up in Chicago with a mom who breeds Australian Labradoodles, I’ve basically been surrounded by wagging tails and wet noses my entire life. I’ve been there from the first adorable yawn to the moment those pups head off to their forever homes (and yes, I always cry a little). Why should you pick me to watch your fur babies? Well, I’ve got a lifetime of experience with animals of all shapes and sizes. From the tiniest pups to bigger dogs, I’ve seen it all—and loved every second. Plus, I currently share my home with my own four-legged buddy, Kai, who can vouch for my top-notch belly rubs and treat-dispensing skills. Your pets will be in good, loving hands—maybe even a little spoiled! I work remotely at home so I’m able to spend a lot of time with your pet, giving them all the treats and cuddles they deserve! I have a dog of my own who is super friendly and loves making new friends to socialize with! They can play together in my home!
“We are so grateful that Julie and Peter were available to take care of our cat for almost a month! They are so compassionate and cared for our aging cat as we would do. We were out of the country so communication was tricky but they didn't miss a beat and took care of things when we were not available to assist. I highly recommend them both if you have any concerns about leaving your fur baby with a stranger. I promise you, your fur baby will love them too!”

About: Hi! My name is Samm. I am a current dog owner of two; Charlotte, a 3.5 yr old, spayed, Am. Staff. Terrier who acts like a princess & Kai, a 2 yr old, neutered, GSP who is a busy bee. Talk about polar opposites! I love a healthy balance and what I have learned in my 18+ years of animal care is, just like people, pets have their own personalities and needs. Knowing your audience is key and I treat every animal with that approach. The more you tell me, the more I know how to implement a healthy setting and approach for your pet. I have had family pets (dogs, cats, rodents, fish, & equine) in the home since I was 6, personally starting to care for them around age 10- taking on full responsibility of a horse at the age of 15 and was also partially financially responsible for the same horse to understand the whole realm of that responsibility, becoming fully financially responsible for my first dog, a 135lb Mastiff, at the age of 17. I have fostered 43 puppies, 3 adult dogs, and 1 kitten since 2020 as I was working as an Adoption Manager for a Non-profit shelter based out of Chicago from 2020 - 2021, I now am still in the business of animals and am an Assistant Hospital Manager of a reputable Veterinary clinic here in Oahu with a flexible schedule. I have experience with handling mobility restriction, medication administration, behavior intervention, healthy play and social styles, and all things puppy training and management. I am in a place where animals bring joy. Also, since moving to a remote island, I have seen how difficult it is to find a boarder when needed without jumping through a trillion hoops (some warranted, but others, a bit excessive). I am also a military spouse and truly understand that things come up, so not only do I have access to military bases, but reply swiftly to last minute requests - I GET IT! I am truly hoping to help you out while bringing in an additional source of income for my knowledge and desire to help others. I do want to preface this blurb with yes, I do work full-time (work day is 8 hours) however, I have flexibility within my work schedule. I live (depending on traffic) a 10-14 minute drive from home and choose my schedule. When caring for your pet, depending on service, I treat your pets, like mine. We have a schedule: morning, midday, afternoon, evening. If I am boarding your pet in my home, after discussing your routine for your pet, I will either implement your pet into the routine of my two dogs during my work day, coming home during my hour lunch to spend quality time or get in an additional walk or run on our dog treadmill. OR I have the ability to bring your pet with me to the hospital to our boarding space where your pet will be personally visited by me every 2 hours for quality time, reassurance, and potty breaks until my work day is done. We can talk more specifics depending on your pet and the following; separation anxiety, their energy level, medication requirements, mobility requirements, animal aggressions et cetera. All of this information is vital in order to determine the level of service I can provide for each day and how that would look in order for you to feel comfortable. As a pet owner, knowing the person caring for my pet has their best interest in mind and action, is vital for me to feel at ease. For that consideration I am even willing to pay a premium price because it matters to me. I want you to feel at ease knowing that I want to discuss with you the characteristics of your pet and your training & care style so I may implement the same all the while providing other areas of mental and physical stimulation to help your pet through a season of change with me as their "new-intermittent" care giver alongside the potential of your pet being in a new environment if boarding at my home. If choosing to board your pup in my home/ coming for daycare for play and stimulation (either all at the house OR a combination of at the house and at the boarding facility within my hospital), your pet will be with two other neutral dog friends with an outdoor, secure fenced in space in a neighborhood, with an outdoor (actual) dog house with ceiling fan + beds, access to clean water, an outdoor doggy pool, and all of the lizards to chase! If it's too hot, all dogs will simply be in our home hanging out in the A/C until the day is done with appropriate potty breaks depending on the dogs age and need. For walks, I am to the T when it considers your dogs time and attention for our agreed upon walk routine.
Ahuimanu pet parents share their Rover experiences
Angel did an amazing job with our 2 senior cats. One of them needs daily medications and weekly injections. We went on a 2 weeks vacation and she not only took care of the cats but also checked our mail and watered plants. We highly recommend Angel for any pet sitting services.

I highly recommend Monica for your pet care needs! She took care of my cat while I was away and was so easy to communicate with. She is dependable, kind, and left the house in great condition all while taking great care of my furry little one. Thank you Monica!
