About: I've had a dog ever since I was about 6 years old. I'm just turned 25 so that's just about 20 years of experience! I've started pet sitting and housesitting when I was 15 years old. I have taken care of all kinds of breeds from goldens, to herding dogs, and (my personal faves) bully breeds. I can work with all types of temperaments and energy levels :) I am currently serving active duty in the Marine Corps, so my days can look quite different, which is why I prefer weekends. During the week days I have PT starting at 5:30AM and don’t get off of work until 4:30. However I do have a 2 hour window during lunch from 11-1, but that is not always guaranteed. On the weekends I am completely open! I go to church on Sundays but other than that I am available. For overnights I prefer to come to the house at least a day in advance in order to see where everything is and what set up the pet(s) have. During the stay I try my best to send updates with pictures to ensure the pet owner is kept in the loop on a daily basis!

About: I’ve always had a huge love for animals, which is actually why I’m currently studying zoology in college! I also have professional experience working at a dog boarding facility, where I care for dogs of all different breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities. My responsibilities include feeding, walking, administering medications, monitoring behavior, and making sure every dog feels comfortable and cared for. We recently had to make the incredibly difficult decision to amputate our pup’s leg after a bone cancer diagnosis. During the first 14 days we needed round the clock care for our dog, Willow. Kelly came in like a pro to help watch Willow when we had to work. She showed up on time, was very communicative throughout the day, and also ensured Willow got her meds on schedule. It’s not an easy task taking care of a post-surgery — 100lb — 3-legged dog, but Kelly proved she was up to the job. We are very happy to have found Kelly and 100% vouch for her. 5 stars

sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
