My bigger pup was a little shy and unsure about it at first meet. After he arrived for his week long stay, he started getting along better. She'd sent me evening updates about my pups wellbeing with text and pictures. With thise notifications, I was able to give some helpful ideas on how to get him to eat since he was feeling homesick. He did hurt his leg while he was there, but with him being very active, he just over extended his leg while playing, and she notified me and helped him out as best as possible. About: I was only allowed to have cats growing up so they are my first love. I truly adored having cats because they allow me to just sit and observe them and if you truly deserve their affection they will allow it. It always feels like such a win when they want your attention. My boyfriend of 7 years is sadly allergic so I haven't been able to have a cat in my household. I so look forward to cat hangs because they are few and far between now. I am happy to check on cats, spend time hanging out, playing with them, any lite or heavy cleaning that is required.

About: A retired marine biologist. I have had dogs my entire life. Raised puppies and watched them grow old. I’ve cared for dogs of all ages and energy levels. Retired. I’m available most days if you need your pets to be simply fed, let out to pee, or to be entertained. While I take same day requests, there are no guarantees because I have several regularly scheduled walks and drop ins. Please reply promptly, I archive when no response in 24 hours. I have a fenced yard and a young corgi who has full run of the house. He can be shy to other dogs. If your dog has any aggressive tendencies or Keahi does not get along with them for whatever reason, we cannot board your dog. Meet and greets are mandatory before any boarding or daycare. Dogs must be house trained for boarding or daycare (paper trained is not house trained). I cannot and will not leave food out. If your dog has issues eating when they are fed (I feed them when I feed my dog), I have to take your dog’s food away and store it. This is a house, not a kennel where your dog has an assigned lot. If your dog has these feeding issues, consider another sitter. Same goes for finicky or difficult medical application. I have no kids on property.

About: I have always had a dog present since I was born. With that I have always wanted to build a strong connection with them. This includes belly rubs, giving treats, going for walks/venturing, or playing with doggy toys. I am currently working a part-time job and typically available at the beginning of the week. About: I've had a dog ever since I was about 6 years old. I'm just turned 25 so that's just about 20 years of experience! I've started pet sitting and housesitting when I was 15 years old. I have taken care of all kinds of breeds from goldens, to herding dogs, and (my personal faves) bully breeds. I can work with all types of temperaments and energy levels :) I am currently serving active duty in the Marine Corps, so my days can look quite different, which is why I prefer weekends. During the week days I have PT starting at 5:30AM and don’t get off of work until 4:30. However I do have a 2 hour window during lunch from 11-1, but that is not always guaranteed. On the weekends I am completely open! I go to church on Sundays but other than that I am available. For overnights I prefer to come to the house at least a day in advance in order to see where everything is and what set up the pet(s) have.
