“Amanda was always on time, reliable, personable and good with our cats. We asked her to also administer medication for one of our cats with FIC and she was able to accommodate no problem. On top of the great work she did making sure our cats stayed fed, hydrated and litter boxes cleaned, she also took in some packages that were outside while we were away and made sure to communicate with us during every visit, including sending pictures. You will not regret booking with Amanda, and we will be in good hands if Amanda wishes to watch our cats again in the future!”

About: I have experience caring for and walking multiple large dogs at once. I have also cared for elderly dogs and dogs with medical needs. I like to learn every dogs needs and behaviors so they feel safe when in my care. I’m a professional volleyball player home for the summer so my hours are very open! I am very active and can take your dogs for nice long walks. I respect the owners space and their recommendations for pet care. I make sure to understand the space so the animals feel safe when I enter their home and so I know where all their necessities are.

“Isabel is so sweet! She helped me last minute and also accommodated a virtual meet and greet for me. I had a repair man in my apartment while I was away and she voluntarily stayed to keep an eye on things and give my cat more loving. Thank you Isabel!!”

“Jen took care of my pet rabbit for a week and a half and I could not have asked for a better caretaker! From feeding to exercise, Jen was on top of it! I especially appreciated how great her communication was--she always promptly responded and sent photos every day. At one point Annie ran out of food and Jen had no problem going out for more and she even cleaned up her cage! Jen is easily the best sitter I've had on Rover and is my #1 choice in the area!”

“Emma was super friendly and communicative. We unfortunately had to cancel our rover visit last minute though she made the effort to come over ahead of time to meet our cat and take notes on what she needed. We definitely look forward to utilizing her services in the future!”

About: Ever since I was a kid, I have been animal obsessed! I was always the neighborhood pet sitter and I grew up with animals of all kinds. I am a rescue animal lover, so I have plenty of experience with behavioral issues and anxious pets. I have owned animals of all ages and can handle whatever special needs they may have. I am self-employed, so I am able to create a flexible schedule for myself. I am able to schedule my clients around your pets needs. Also, I am an early riser, so early morning walks/check ins won’t scare me away! I have been called a “hovering mother.” I always know where my pets are and what they are doing. You can expect the same for your pet, when it is in my care. Safety is my number one priority!

About: Large Animal Science graduate, have completed the vet tech and grooming courses at BCAHS, have experience with diverse/exotic animal caretaking rolls, canine cpr certified, lots of experience with difficult dog breeds. I work full time Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm but care for animals in the early morning and after my shifts end. Usually I tend to walk my dog for a 1-2 hours after work. It is extremely important that my dog gets exercise each day to make sure she stays happy and healthy. Sometimes I also take my cat on the walks as well (he loves spending time outside with his sister with his harness and leash on!). Weekends have much more flexibility with my schedule. It is extremely important to make sure that my animals or any animals in general feel comfortable in their current environment. Giving animals the opportunity to take bathroom breaks outside or making the bathroom option available to pets who cannot go outside is very important. Giving pets access to fresh drinking water and specific foods as needed is also crucial. Providing proper exercise and mental enrichment only helps to further improve an animal’s experience in their surroundings as well.

“Vanessa went above and beyond for her check in today with my dogs! She put up with me being a neurotic dog mom, updated me and stayed in contact the whole walk with them. 10/10 recommend. It’s always comforting to find someone reliable and who is genuinely looking out for your dogs like they’re her own. I shared my concerns and she got me. About: I have had my family dog for the past 8 years, a small chihuahua. I love playing fetch with dogs and giving them belly rubs. I currently work from home Monday and Fridays so I am able to take a break and come help whenever needed. On the days I am in the office I can stop by after work. I can play with your pet, I can feed them what ever their diet consists of, I can take them on however long of a walk they enjoy because I also enjoy walking.

“Wendy, you are a life saver. It’s so hard finding someone to take care of your fur babies and trust them. Wendy made everything so easy, she gave me updates and answered my texts in a very timely matter. She also has a very cozy home. I definitely recommend her.”

About: I've had animals in my life since I was 1! I've always had dogs, cats, birds, and small animals in my home. I've trained 3 of my own dogs. I've also trained horses and farm sat. Comfortable with animals of every size and most dispositions. Happy to tackle medications and baths. My daughter just started preschool so I'm transitioning out of the 'stay at home mom' portion of my life. Her current schedule makes returning to my prior career difficult so I thought I would try and make some animal friends to fill my quickly emptying best for the next two years as she transitions to full time big kid school I do not have a fenced in yard but I have a long lead and love across the street from Jamiels park and a block from the east bay bike path and town dog park. If your dog is comfortable with other dogs I am happy to take them in my home. If not, I would love to provide care at your home or take them for enriching walks
