“Tony was happy and well cared for while we were gone. We appreciated Teddy coming for a visit before we went away so she could meet Tony and we could meet her family. She sent wonderful pictures that showed that he was being well cared for. We will definitely have her come back for our next time away.”

“This was our first time using Rover for watching our fur babies and Sydney could not have made the experience any more pleasant. She spent quality time with them and we could tell from the pictures she shared that Coco really enjoyed her company. We will definitely be looking to her again for our next trip.”

“Katie is just SUPER. We have 2 Golden Retrievers a 6 month old puppy with near boundless energy and 12 year old senior who can be a bit stubborn and she always handles that challenge perfectly. The puppy and the senior just love her. We do too.”

“Second time using Michelle and she is the best! She takes such good care of our two boys (cats) and always keeps me updated, especially with our one kitty who is a puker. I highly recommend her and appreciate that she is always on standby should an issue arise.”

“Julianne pays close attention to detail regarding litter-change, playing with our cat/Shadow and making sure that both cats are safe & sound! I would recommend Julianne to anyone who has a pet as she provided the "tender loving care" that all animals require. Julianne forwarded pictures which showed that the cats were, well, "happy cats"!!! That meant a lot to Julie & I.”

About: A little bit about me, I am going on to my second year at MCC and after plan on joining the Air Force! I currently have a part time job at a restaurant but have gotten the unfortunate news that they will be shutting down my store so I am looking to have this as a part time job for now then hopefully transition it into a full time job. I have been taking care of animals since my early teenage years starting off with a close family friend and her 2 poodle mix’s. They would be dropped off at my house around 9:00 am and then get pick up at 6:00pm. I have bathed, cleaned, and even trained some dogs (simple commands). In addition, I have also taken care of multiple furry felines and have had many cats of my own so I am also quite familiar with their needs as well. I am wanting to soon be Pet CPR and First Aid Certified. I have always been interested in pet-care I just didn’t know how to go about it until I found out about rover! I will be putting all my focus on pet-care as my full time job. Since I am just starting out I will only have weekday availability 11-9 and will only offer drop in’s and walk services Monday-Friday and house sitting Tuesday-Thursday. I have been around pets for a long time and feel I am able to pick up on signs if anything might be wrong with your furry friend.

“Charlene and Jeremy were incredible cat-sitters -- I can't recommend them enough! We had to travel for nearly a week over the holidays and felt so comforted knowing these two were looking after our sweet cat. This was our first experience with Rover and it couldn't have gone better. Charlene and Jeremy responded to texts and emails quickly, sent photos and videos every day, and even took in our mail for us. We feel SO happy to have found these two and plan to have them watch Toby whenever we leave town from now on.”

“Taylor did an excellent job watching our cats, two of whom need medications or have other special needs. We got plenty of updates and Taylor took time each day to give the cats love and attention. Would highly recommend!”

“Jessica did a fantastic job! Two of my kitties are extremely nervous around strangers and hide on top of the fridge when anyone comes over. Within two days, Jessica had them out playing, and she won them over enough for pets and kisses. Jessica understands different cats and their personalities, and I'd absoutely hire her again. I'll just add that the photos she sent me are better than any I've taken!”

About: I have taken care of animals my entire life and truly feel called to be around animals. I view animals as a pleasure and not something to take care of or work. Pet care fits into my everyday routine, as I have pets at home. I am constantly thinking about my animals and about their needs. In addition, my dogs sleeps in my bed every night. I care for my pets at home by making sure their needs are always satisfied. I also give them plenty of love. I would care for one’s pet by doing the same things and by making sure the pet is comfortable.

“Thank you so much to Bridget for taking such good care of Chase. Easier being away knowing he’s being taken such good care of. We will be using Bridget again and would recommend her to everyone I know and to anyone who needs a fur baby sitter. Thank you again Bridget.”

About: Hi! My name is Sydney and I have loved animals for as long as I can remember. Being a pet mom started when I adopted my first guinea pigs at 8 years old. In the years since, I have had dogs, cats, small mammals and birds. I currently have 3 Australian Shepherds (all rescues) at home who are all 3 years old. One of them is blind (due to inappropriate breeding) and requires extra care and attention. I am new on the Rover scene, but not new to pets. Previously, I have been a pet sitter, volunteer for an animal shelter, and a foster home for rabbits through Lollypop Farm. I treat all animals as if they are my own and believe that pets should always be given the best care and attention. I also work part-time for a local pet sitting company, where I am honing in on my pet expertise regularly! I am comfortable giving meds (both pills and liquid via syringe), walking all breeds of dogs, and providing specialized care to pets with special needs and older pets. I am also comfortable with small animals, birds, and cats! I am currently available to provide pet care on the weekends. If you are interested in weekday pet care, send a message and we can see if we can make it work! I have a fenced yard at my home which my dogs use to run and play for hours each day. I prefer to supervise their activity inside the fence whenever possible. You never know what they can get themselves into! I also take my 3 dogs on walks, giving them the opportunity to sniff and explore spaces outside of our backyard. My dogs also love enrichment! In your home, I can provide the same services, depending on you and your pets(s) preference. I am a firm believer that a busy dog is a happy dog!

“Sydney is great with all types of animals! She'll love on them all like they are her own. She has helped with me multiple times with my puggle, Kazi, who can be very skittish around new people. He pulls on the lease and eats EVERYTHING he can find but I know Sydney will keep him safe and from running out the front door! Highly recommend her services. She's funny too :)”
