“Regan was absolutely amazing with Archer. He is a senior Dachshund and can be a little unsure in new places, but she went above and beyond to make him feel safe, comfortable and cared for during his very first overnight stay. She was patient, gentile and very attentive to his needs. It’s such a relief to find someone who understands and loves older pups. I’m grateful for the peace of mind she gave me and all the pictures she sent during his stay.”

“Anna was the perfect person to care for our girls. Puppies are hard. Two puppies are even harder but she Rocked it. I wrote instructions for her and she followed them to the ‘T’ even using our ‘command words’. She even set in the floor cuddling them during a storm to calm her fears I will definitely use her again.”

“Kirsten was AMAZING with our sweet boy TBuddy. He wasn’t feeling very well and she updated me several times a day on his care. She has such a kind and loving heart and it def showed. Tbuddy had a great visit and we will be using her again. You should as well! Emily Kercheval”

“There are not enough stars to show how happy we are that we found Lauren!!! I'm in my 60s and have had dogs most of my life and this is hands down, by far, the best experience a dog (baby) of mine has had. Right from the drop off the atmosphere was perfect. Our little one didn't even mind that we were leaving, which was new for us! She was already having too much fun exploring and paying with a new friend. The communication was excellent! Lauren's home is very accommodating and loving. I feel like our baby now has a second home and this, to me, is the epitome of Rover! We now have no worries if we want to plan a trip. What a difference it makes to receive lots of pictures and updates to see our baby is having as much fun as we are on our vaca! We will be regulars for sure! ❤️”

“Tyler is phenomenal! This is the second time he has watched my parent's dog, and the first time he watched my dog. He takes dogs on walks, plays with them, and is always giving you updates via text. The dogs came home very happy and you can tell they were taken care of. Highly recommended and will absolutely call him again in the future.”

“Courtney was terrific! I would definitely recommend using her to watch your pup! My plans had changed several times and she was very understanding … will use her again!”

“Sawsan is amazing!! We were nervous about finding a sitter on Rover, but we are so grateful that we found Sawsan! She treated our dogs with such great care/love and sent us multiple updates each day. Definitely will book her again!”

“Marisa was great! She was extremely accommodating, always trying to help make things easier for us for drop off and pick up. She sent lots of pictures and updates, and my pup definitely had fun because he has been sleeping all day. A sure sign of a good time for a one year old lab! =) it was awesome to know that he was having fun while we were away.”

About: I’ve been very hands on with dogs for years, including raising and caring for my own pitbull, so I’m comfortable with all breeds and sizes especially larger, high energy dogs. I’m patient, attentive, and good at reading a dog’s personality and body language. I can also help reinforce basic habits like potty routines, leash manners, and calm behavior for younger dogs. I treat pets like they’re my own and focus on making them feel comfortable, safe, and cared for instead of just “watching” them. I pay close attention to each dog’s personality and adjust to what they need, whether that’s extra playtime, reassurance, structure, or space. I also keep owners updated with messages and photos so they always know how their pet is doing. I plan my days around feeding times, walks, potty breaks, playtime, and making sure pets get plenty of attention throughout the day. I’m consistent with routines and make sure pets are supervised and comfortable. I provide a calm, safe, and stress-free environment where pets can relax and feel at home. I have a fenced backyard for safe outdoor time and always supervise pets during walks, playtime, and interactions with other dogs. I also have a smart camera in my home so I can keep an eye on pets if I step out briefly. For added safety and comfort, pets can be kenneled if needed or preferred by the owner.

Depending on your location, I am also able to do lunch time drop ins! “Bobbi was a wonderful host to our senior dog. My dog is anxious with traditional boarders, so I’m very happy to have found her. She is quick to communicate and I appreciated the daily pictures. 100% recommend!”

“My 2 poodles had a stay for the weekend, I was nervous since this was their first stay but Rachel assured me everything will be fine and it definitely was! One of my dogs got a small injury when dropping off and she was quick to jump into action and take care of it!! She kept me updated with daily pictures throughout their stay. My babies have a new best friend with Raven and can’t wait to go back!! I highly recommend her and her services & will be using her for future stays!!”

Brittany kept in touch with updates and photos, which made the whole experience easy and stress-free. My dog came home happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. It was obvious she received lots of love and attention during her stay. Brittany was kind, reliable, and treated my dog like family. I’d happily book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and trustworthy pet sitter!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Abita Springs
My very spoiled French Bulldog barely wanted to come home and stood up in the passenger seat watching Jay walk away and whining. I'd say Jay has a fan. Jay sent pictures and videos that were awesome and very appreciated. I found Winston's best friend (after me) and babysitter. Thanks Jay!

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
