“I appreciated that Sawsan was willing to board our Welsh Corgi during the 2024 Christmas - New Year holidays. She is very experienced in caring for dogs and is straightforward about her house rules. Sawsan's residence is conveniently located in old Mandeville which makes dog walking pleasant. Additionally, she kept us updated daily and quickly responded to any message that I sent her. We love our small Welsh Corgi but unfortunately, he doesn't get many opportunities to interact a lot with other dogs. So while he was boarded, he got a chance to play with two or three other dogs in Sawsan's large clean backyard. He had such a good time playing with the other dogs, that it became a small burden for Sawsan to make him less tranquil at times. Sawsan was professional about this matter by not informing me immediately until we picked up our dog to avoid me stressing out while we were out of town. Thank you Sawsan. Nonetheless, I am grateful that Sawsan opened her doors for our dog and I highly recommend her to anyone wishing to use her services for sitting or boarding.”

About: I have been around animals my entire life and have now centered my life around animal care! I currently am going to school for my RVT and am also working in the clinic at our Parish animal shelter. Because of this, I am well versed in most domesticated animal care, am comfortable with special needs/ill pets, and never mind a challenge! I Young-old, excited-skittish, wet-dry, all need care, and I'm excited to help you! No task is too messy or difficult, no guideline is too silly! My husband is very familiar with pet care as well, and he supplements where i cannot be! I am currently working full time from 8-4:30. I am able to handle early morning and evening obligations. Depending on your location, I am also able to do lunch time drop ins! Most of my weekends are open, though I am unavailable about 1 weekend out of the month for work, these weekends follow my weekday availability. My husband supplements any working weekends, and most times in which i am not home! Every animal is different, every animal has their quirks and personality! I am easily adaptable to your pets needs in home and outside. My goal is to make visits and transitions as seamless as possible for your pets; what works for you is what's best for me! WE BOARD MULTIPLE ANIMALS AT A TIME! Sometimes there will be overlap from different households. Please know that we always prioritize safety, are very adaptable with separation and never leave our boarded animals together unattended.

“Marisa was great! She sent a lot of pictures and videos. Nyla had a blast playing with the other dogs outside in the fenced in yard and inside as well. She made sure to give Nyla her breakfast and dinner as well as her medicine. And Nyla is a handful considering she is 62 pounds, but Marisa did great!”

About: I enjoy taking care of dogs as I am unable to have a dog of my own due to work travel. I enjoy taking them for walks and runs if they are up for it! I currently travel for work, but home long for stretches to care for your doggie when needed. When I'm home, I'm available the entire day. I have a big front yard and fenced in backyard with a spacious back patio. Lots of room to play and run. If your dog requires a crate, I have the room for that as well.

I treat pets like they’re my own and focus on making them feel comfortable, safe, and cared for instead of just “watching” them. I pay close attention to each dog’s personality and adjust to what they need, whether that’s extra playtime, reassurance, structure, or space. I also keep owners updated with messages and photos so they always know how their pet is doing. I plan my days around feeding times, walks, potty breaks, playtime, and making sure pets get plenty of attention throughout the day. I’m consistent with routines and make sure pets are supervised and comfortable. I provide a calm, safe, and stress-free environment where pets can relax and feel at home. I have a fenced backyard for safe outdoor time and always supervise pets during walks, playtime, and interactions with other dogs. I also have a smart camera in my home so I can keep an eye on pets if I step out briefly. For added safety and comfort, pets can be kenneled if needed or preferred by the owner.
