“Anna was the perfect person to care for our girls. Puppies are hard. Two puppies are even harder but she Rocked it. I wrote instructions for her and she followed them to the ‘T’ even using our ‘command words’. She even set in the floor cuddling them during a storm to calm her fears I will definitely use her again.”

“Our girl had the best time with Sawsan and her other boarders! Sawsan sent numerous and frequent photos and videos so we could see what a good time Ziva was having. We will definitely board with her again.”

“Regan was absolutely amazing with Archer. He is a senior Dachshund and can be a little unsure in new places, but she went above and beyond to make him feel safe, comfortable and cared for during his very first overnight stay. She was patient, gentile and very attentive to his needs. It’s such a relief to find someone who understands and loves older pups. I’m grateful for the peace of mind she gave me and all the pictures she sent during his stay.”

“William enjoyed his stay very much. I can tell because he was in no rush to leave. He came very happy with no ill acting effects as he had had with non Rover sitters. Lauren even gave him a bath because William was out playing rough in the yard, having fun, and he got dirty. They sent constant photos and videos of his stay. Thank you Lauren.”

“Courtney was super responsive and kept me updated on my pup. She sent photos daily and my pup came home exhausted from all the playtime/walks. Will be booking again soon!”

About: I’ve been very hands on with dogs for years, including raising and caring for my own pitbull, so I’m comfortable with all breeds and sizes especially larger, high energy dogs. I’m patient, attentive, and good at reading a dog’s personality and body language. I can also help reinforce basic habits like potty routines, leash manners, and calm behavior for younger dogs. I treat pets like they’re my own and focus on making them feel comfortable, safe, and cared for instead of just “watching” them. I pay close attention to each dog’s personality and adjust to what they need, whether that’s extra playtime, reassurance, structure, or space. I also keep owners updated with messages and photos so they always know how their pet is doing. I plan my days around feeding times, walks, potty breaks, playtime, and making sure pets get plenty of attention throughout the day. I’m consistent with routines and make sure pets are supervised and comfortable. I provide a calm, safe, and stress-free environment where pets can relax and feel at home. I have a fenced backyard for safe outdoor time and always supervise pets during walks, playtime, and interactions with other dogs. I also have a smart camera in my home so I can keep an eye on pets if I step out briefly. For added safety and comfort, pets can be kenneled if needed or preferred by the owner.
“Brittany was outstanding watching my pup, Abby. I got regular updates, pics, and videos of her daily activities. Abby had such a good time she didn't want to leave. I highly recommend Brittany!!!”

“Kirsten was AMAZING with our sweet boy TBuddy. He wasn’t feeling very well and she updated me several times a day on his care. She has such a kind and loving heart and it def showed. Tbuddy had a great visit and we will be using her again. You should as well! Emily Kercheval”

“Bobbi and her mom were great with our two Maltese pups. We had to go out of town for a wedding and had never left our dogs with anyone before. Bobbi was great about sending pics and messages to assure us that they were happy and in good hands. If we ever need to leave them again, I'll contact Bobbi.”

“Tyler took extra special care of our dogs Louie and Rizzo. He was very attentive and was great at communicating the whole time they were with him. We will definitely be booking with Tyler again.”

I am a teacher who is off for summer break and would love to fill my summer free time helping your special furry family members! I am currently living in an apartment living so I understand the need for dog walks. I will visit and provide lots of love and attention.
“Marisa did a wonderful job taking care of my dogs whole I was away. She gave me updates and even sent pictures of them to me when I missed them. Will definitely use her whenever I go out of town again!!!”

About: I enjoy taking care of dogs as I am unable to have a dog of my own due to work travel. I enjoy taking them for walks and runs if they are up for it! I currently travel for work, but home long for stretches to care for your doggie when needed. When I'm home, I'm available the entire day. I have a big front yard and fenced in backyard with a spacious back patio. Lots of room to play and run. If your dog requires a crate, I have the room for that as well.
“Livia and family are simply the best. Since I was new to Rover, I was very nervous leaving Cooper with a stranger. Our pre visit put all of that to rest. Cooper was immediately treated as a family member. Livia regularly communicated how Cooper was doing throughout his stay. She was genuinely concerned about his well being asking questions when warranted. Livia’s son was kind enough to send a Spider-Man stuff toy home with Cooper. He hasn’t put it down since getting home. We will definitely use Livia again when needed.”

Courtney did a great job with our three dogs. I had to find someone in a pinch to take the three dogs for a few days. One has medication that needs to be given every day! Courtney did great and kept us informed of how the pets were doing with pictures! The dogs were well taken care of. Only unfortunate is I had to pay holiday rate which was pretty expensive through Rover. Thanks Courtney. Julie M

Tyler was amazing with our three Chihuahuas. He took them on walks everyday. He tossed a ball for them in the house. He gave them Turkey lunch meat that we requested for a treat each day along with Greeny’s dog treats twice a day. He let them cuddle him. They were cozy in his home and also enjoyed his large fenced backyard. He was very kind and accommodating. Our dogs were well loved 🥰! Thank you again, Tyler, for taking care of our dogs for 8 nights! We truly appreciate you. ❤️

Apollo had an amazing time with Madison!! She spoiled him so much and gave him plenty of exercise and took excellent care of him. She was also an amazing and timely communicator and provided tons of photos of Apollo having a wonderful time. Will definitely use Madison in the future!😊

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in LA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
