About: I have had dogs in the family ever since I was a child and I got my first dog, Sadie, at age 24. She was an energetic pup requiring two long walks a day in the forest. She taught me everything I know about animal behaviour and how to love and care for them properly. I have had two amazing dogs since, Chester and Solly (rescue). Both of whom I have trained from puppies. I am retired now so am available weekdays and weekends to look after your lovely. I am happy to care for your pet either overnight or just for the day. I have no pup now so I am keen for the company of your pooch .Due to my age, I will be unable to walk the dogs but I have a lovely green (enclosed) garden perfect for playtime activities along with lots of lounging space for pups of the lazier type.

“Our 7 month old puppy had the most amazing stay with Ross and his family. We were updated regularly about how she had settled and her days out with the family. They all showed so much love and care towards our pup and treated her like their own. She had the best stay with them and went on trips to the beach, woods and even had a little doggy paddling pool. Their family dog Belle bonded well with Skye and they happily played and cuddled. This family really enjoy the company of dogs and they’re the perfect sitters. Our mind was at ease throughout our whole holiday, knowing that Skye was happy and well looked after. Thank you all so much! Skye would love to come back again next time!”

About: Iv grown up around dogs my whole life. Iv had 5 dogs growing up in my family home 4 of which all lived together. These breeds were German Shepards, chihuahuas and a Romanian rescue. My family have always been massive dog lovers and I think this is where I get it from. Iv looked after dogs for friends and family members from all ages and sizes including puppies to 12+ years. My nan and grandad also have 6 dogs living with them that I dog sit for time to time. I have alot of experience with bigger dogs , medium size dogs and smaller dogs. Dogs feel very comfortable, relaxed and happy around me as I do with them. I have experience walking, feeding and looking after dogs of all sizes and am always happy to be around any breed of dog of any size. I am currently at university student who commutes. I have finished university and don’t go back until September so I’m very available in my routine. I am also employed as bank staff at a nursery but pick and choose my hours so I am able to help out any day at any time ! I love dogs and spending time with them so this will definitely be a priority. There will be no additional care takers. I am very experienced with a range of dogs from different ages , sizes and breeds that all have different needs. Caring for pet in an owners home I have done numerous times and comes on as a second nature to me so anything your dog needs and any special requirements I will be able to meet them. At my home we have a gated drive way and fenced off garden because we have dogs living at home : a chihuahua and German shepherd that use the garden very frequently. I am happy to go on long walks and short walks with your dogs and can do this more then once a day.

“After moving here recently we didnt think we would be able to find a dog sitter as good as we had previously for our 2 King Charles Cavaliers Rosie & Mollie, who both are on medication. However, we contacted Rover & Jacky Long replied to our request. Just recently Jacky had R&M for 2 nights & we are delighted to say how happy our two little girls appeared on picking them up. They loved Jacky who is a very caring & professional Lady clearly loves animals. Rosie & Mollie seemed to fit into her home with ease as well as getting on with Jacky's own 3 dogs.
