3. Megan W.
“Megan took our puppy for a walk for the first time today, it is the first time we have ever left her with any one other than family and she came back very happy with a wagging tail. Megan was very accommodating, and sent a photo to let us know she was okay.”

About: My love of all animals has been obvious since a young age. I had small dogs in the family since I can remember, who taught me the foundations in caring for dogs. Last year, I chose to rescue a German Shepherd who had a difficult start to life. He has taught me more than I could have hoped, and is now thriving after hours of training and commitment. I have also owned a horse since my early teenage years, underlining my commitment to looking after animals big and small. I currently work from home on a 4 and a half day week. I am usually fully available on weekends, and can be flexible during the week. I also have a friendly German Shepherd. I currently live among a 600 acre working farm in the Cumbrian hills. I have a fenced in yard, and acres of fields on my doorstep. I can crate dogs if needed.
5. Kevin S.
“Kev has been walking and running my dog, Leo, for almost 12 months. I’ve always had the feeling that he is very excited to go with Kev on his adventures, and he always comes home tired and content. It is apparent to me that Kev has taken the time to get to know him and hence his needs are well catered for. I would recommend Kev as a person to exercise your dog whenever you need and I would add that you may rest assured that your pet will be treated like one of the family.”

About: I have always lived and cared for dogs and am comfortable with large and small breeds. From a young age I have had large breeds with a variety of personalities - so am well experienced with all kinds of behaviour from dogs. I love walking in the mountains, and would love a companion to take on my walks, but am also open to smaller breeds that can keep me company at home. I am fortunate enough to work from home 2 days a week so am also able to offer overnight stays during the week. All week days are available upon request. I can be flexible and try to accommodate your specific needs. I am able to work from home during the week if required and am therefore able to offer weekend and weekday overnight stays. I live in the Lake District with plenty of lovely walking routes. I also have a fenced garden so your dog can play in the garden. I have one small cat, called Nala. She is a timid cat and will likely stay out or stay upstairs away from the dog, but she is harmless. Please provide your dogs bed so I can ensure they feel as comfortable as possible.

About: I've a great affinity with dogs having grown up with them. I love the energy that dogs bring to the world and make plenty of time to give them the play and exercise they need (however much this is). I will look to show the same love and care to your pet as you would. I am currently working a remote flexible contract which will enable me to be present at all times for your pet. This flexibility allows me to take your dog for walks 3-4 times per day. I have a large garden which backs onto a public green space, so regular short walks are easy from my house. There are also plenty of longer routes which can be done to ensure your pet gets the exercise it needs. My partner and I will both be at home with your dog, so we can ensure that they get the attention they need and we can work to whatever schedule they are used to!

About: I have been caring for dogs for the past four years when my family got a working cocker spaniel puppy who I trained, and then when 2 years later we rescued another. I have experience working and caring for dogs from the puppy stage to age 6, but can care for pets of any age. As someone who is dedicated and compassionate, I offer reliable and personalised care for furry companions of all shapes and sizes. With a genuine love for animals and 4 years of experience, I ensure the well-being and happiness of pets entrusted to my care. From daily walks and playtime to feeding and grooming, I provide attentive and affectionate service tailored to each pet's unique needs. I am currently a university student, hoping to make pet sitting my full time job once I graduate. Being at university away from my dogs has only strengthened the love I have for animals, and a desire to provide loving care for people's pets. I would be available any day and at any time- just drop me a message to see when I can fit you in! As a conscientious pet sitter, safety, trust, and the environment are at the forefront of my care philosophy. With a deep respect for the bond between pets and their owners, I prioritize the well-being and security of furry companions entrusted to my care. Through meticulous attention to detail and adherence to best practices, I create a safe and nurturing environment where pets can feel comfortable and at ease. Trust is paramount in my relationships with both pets and owners, and I strive to foster open communication, reliability, and transparency in all interactions
