“Lupita is my new hero! My sitter fell through last minute and I contacted Lupita on Dec. 29 about watching my cat Dec. 31-Jan. 2- a tall order. She not only responded immediately, but came over that evening in a torrential downpour for a meet-and-greet. Violet took to her right away and I was able to go out of town without worrying. Lupita send daily updates/correspondence and I came home to a happy cat and clean house (I have yet to ever find another sitter who actually does a decent job cleaning the litter box and cleaning up scattered litter). I'll definitely hire Lupita again and highly recommend her!”

About: I recently graduated from Santa Clara Law (class of 2023), and I’m now working from home (remote) at a tech company. I love Santa Cruz and all the beautiful nature it has to offer, and would love to experience the sights with your dog or pay them a home visit for a nice hello. I am a dog mom to a 12 lb Chihuaha - we used to love hiking but she’s slowed down a bit as she’s aged. I also have experience with older service dogs with special diets, medicine needs, and mobility issues. Lastly, I am an energetic and active person, and look forward to walking, hiking, or running with your loved dog child. I also have some experience with cats, as well as administrating medicine, and giving lots of scratches behind the ears. I work from home and have a flexible schedule. However, I require at least 24 hour notice for both booking a time and for cancellation. I will care for your dog by respecting your home boundaries and your dog’s boundaries. “My Bonnie is about a 4 year old breeder dog who was sent to a kill shelter when she could no longer produce puppies. We managed to get her from the shelter and has been with us for about 4 months. She is still nervous around people, but took to Sof the very first time they met. I think Sof did a great job with Bonnie. I was notified when Sof was at the house and what her and Bonnie did while together. Also got pictures at every visit. I felt very confident that Bonnie was in good hands. About: Grew up in Santa Cruz and love the neighborly vibe! I’ve had pets my whole life yet now travel and would love caring for yours! With my flexible work schedule I can work from anywhere, therefore, my ability to take on last minute jobs. I’m an early riser and enjoyed taking walks and hikes. I enjoy watching pets in their own home, so that they are in their comfort zone and keep their routine. Over time, getting to know how they like to live life on the inside and the outside of their environment.

About: During your vacations and out of town obligations, seek assurance for your animals in our Seabright home! We have an active lifestyle during the day consisting of long walks along the beach and harbor for the active dog types; and we love a relaxing time chilling and reading in our fenced in backyard or down the street at the dog-friendly beach for the low key dogs. We are avid friends of all animals, with 15+years experience in animal sitting. Nicole is a dog volunteer for the county animal shelter and enjoyed hosting dogs in the past on a previous dog sitting app! Zach grew up with a husky(and remains fluent with husky-speak) and thrives when he has an excuse to meet and play with a new dog. Our family member, Maya(black lab) passed away last year and while we aren’t ready for a dog of our own, we deeply miss the joy of a canine to join us in our daily active adventures! We look forward to your dog’s company! There is always someone at home during the work week, so your pet will always have someone around to attend to their needs. We like to start and end every day off with a 40+ minute walk. On weekends, we tend to be out and about the town or go for a hike or long walks to farmers markets, play tennis, hang out at the beach, etc. We also garden and love cooking or doing projects at home. Our schedule can accommodate a wide variety of pooch preferences. This is not a money-making business for us — we simply just miss having a dog in the home since Maya passed away and would love to bring that animal company back through hosting your dog! For this reason, we will only accept one pet guest at a time to ensure your pet gets the individual care it needs and deserves while you are away.
