About: I have experience pet sitting for both dogs (small and large) and cats, and grew up in a household with big dogs. Walking larger dogs is no issue, as I have been walking two leash excitable pit-bulls for years! I also recently worked at an animal shelter caring for both dogs and cats of all breeds, sizes, and needs. I’ve cared for a variety of animals my entire life, from birds to fish to mice and, of course, dogs and cats! I really enjoy caring for animals (and even plan for a career working with animals), and will be sure to give your animal the love, attention and exercise they need! I’m taking classes at Cal Poly so I am away for a few hours each day. I also work at a dog boarding facility 2 or 3 days a week. On Mondays I have class from 12-3pm and then from 4-5:30pm. Tuesdays I have class from 9-12pm and then 3-5pm. Wednesdays I have one class from 4-5:30pm but I often work in the mornings from 7am-12pm or from 10am-1pm. Thursdays I have class from 9-12pm. I often work Friday and Saturday mornings, but am around for the entire rest of the day after 12pm. Because I am only gone for a few hours at a time, I will be able to spend the rest of my time caring for your pets! These times are more of a reference for drop off times, or if you are specifically looking for your pet to be watched for only a couple of hours. I provide a safe and comfortable environment for pets, always putting their needs first! I have two roommates that also love and care for pets, so your pet will get lots of love and attention.

He took Lucca on some special outings beyond his normal walking routine which was great because Lucca is an active dog. They did a hike up Bishop Peak, a trip to a dog park, and took walks with another of Darian's client's dogs so Lucca had an opportunity to socialize. Darian also communicated with us daily sending pictures and updates which we really appreciated. His depth of experience and understanding of canines and their behavior is exceptional and it was great to have someone so experienced care for Lucca.”

About: I have been involved with service jobs from a very young age. As the oldest cousin of a family with 20 other cousins, I have spent a large part of my life with both children and watching animals. I have watched 3 large dogs all at once, having to take them on walks multiple times a day. In addition, I have also dealt with handling a sick, elderly dog who had minimal mobility and needed physical assistance to do most things. I am currently a full-time college student who likes the flexibility this job allows for. I am never on campus for more than 2 hours at a time, and am always out of class no later than 5:30. My house is close to campus and commuting does not take long. As a 21-year-old college student offering pet sitting services, I ensure the utmost care for pets both in my home and my client's home. In my own space, I create a welcoming environment, providing designated areas for feeding, sleeping, and play. I maintain a clean and safe environment, ensuring all necessary supplies are readily available. Additionally, I adhere to any specific routines or instructions provided by pet owners to maintain consistency for the animals. When caring for pets in clients' homes, I respect their space and follow established guidelines meticulously. My golden retriever can be a bit of a hassle when it comes to walking (and sometimes she won’t even eat her food when we are away) but Shannon was able to take care of that and make sure she was healthy when we returned.
