About: 18 years ago my husband and I adopted our first border collie puppy, and Maggie made us a family! Over the years, we've had 2 cats, a hedgehog, bunny, guinea pig, a "protege" border collie puppy, as well as 3 human kids. I am experienced in dog training, elder pet care, medication administration, exotic pet care, and I have multiple references available on request. I hold advanced degrees in education and disability advocacy and am a certified English teacher. As a stay-at-home mom, I have morning, afternoon and evening flexibility for dog walking and drop in care. I would love to walk and care for your pets. While I am happy to do drop in care at your home, my cats would object to having your pet be boarded inside our home. I am interested in caring for dogs and cats in the client's home only, as we currently have two cats who would become upset if I were to care for animals at their house! Our border collie would love having a companion for dog walks, however!

About: I’ve had animals in my life since I was a kid. I don’t ever remember not have a pet in my home. I’ve also cared for my family and friends pets whenever needed through the years. I know it’s difficult finding a comfortable, loving dog-sitter while working long hours or traveling. I would like to provide a safe, welcoming home for your fur baby. I have a good size yard that’s fenced in for your pet to run and play in. I work in Middletown Monday through Friday. I get out of work at 3:30 so I am available week nights if needed. I’m also available on the weekends. I live in a safe neighborhood in Tiverton and have a fenced in yard. I have 2 female indoor cats that are very friendly. They love people and other animals.
14. Lars A.
“Lars is an excellent caretaker choice for your dog. He is knowledgeable, kind, patient, and trustworthy. Lars is always on time and on schedule. You can be confident that your dog will receive the best of care from Lars. We have complete confidence in him.”
15. Christina B.
“Christina was great with our baby Daisy. She made us feel at ease from the moment we met her. She communicated throughout the day with photos and Daisy had a great time. We will definitely keep using Christina when we need a sitter.”
16. Tully R.
“Tully is literally the best dog mom I know. She’s loving, attentive, playful, responsible, and a skilled trainer. Her dog is not only impeccably behaved but also one of the happiest animals I’ve ever met. I would absolutely trust my dog with her without a second thought.”
17. Julia T.
“Julia LOVES dogs and took such amazing care of our dog Sailor and our home when she dog-sit. I highly recommend her- your furry friend will thank you! She is responsible, loving, honest and trust-worthy.”
18. Marykate B.
“If there is one person I would trust with my fur baby, it would definitely be Marykate. I am a nurse so my schedule is hard some days with being able to get my dog, Remi, out. Whether I have gotten called into work last minute or had set plans for Marykate to walk Remi, she has always been there. Not only does she take Remi on walks but she takes her swimming and goes above and beyond to tire her out for when I’m home from work. I cannot say enough good things about Marykate and the trust she has built with me over the last few months. Not only will your fur babies love Marykate, you will too!”
19. Haylee M.
“Haylee loves all animals. She is obsessed with her own dog, as well as the chickens her family keeps. She has worked on dog sitting ad cat sitting in the past, and has never had a complaint. She takes extra care to make sure these animals are not only getting the necessities they need, but also getting the love and affection they deserve while their owners are away. Haylee also works very hard in school, and is always committed to doing her best.”
20. Alexandria H.
“I can't thank Alexandria enough for the care she gave my big furbaby. He was beyond tired when he got home from all the fun he had with her and the other dogs. I Loved the pictures, updates, and Rover card I received throughout the day. I would highly recommend her and thank you again for the flexibility :)”
