“Thanks to Charissa and Alex for taking excellent care of Bluto while we enjoyed some of the local sites. He really enjoyed his time running around in their yard. He was tired and ready for a rest when we returned home.”

“Jessica was wonderful. We left our two dogs with her while we were working a late wedding and she took wonderful care of them, sent us photos, and kept us updated. 100% recommend her”

About: I have had dogs since I can remember! I have worked in kennels and dog grooming. I have worked with all different breeds and sizes. I have raised and trained many dogs of all breeds. Currently, I work from home, so my schedule is flexible. I have a 9 year old daughter who has been raised with all animals and is very comfortable around dogs. I have a fenced in yard and a golden retriever who is super friendly! I do have a crate in my house if that is needed/preferred.
“what is a very awesome Rover mommy I’m very funny where I leave my puppy and she took care of her better than if she was her own puppy she even trimmed her nails for me. I definitely will be returning to Paula again many times she is more than a five star sitter thank you so much, Paul”

“Bertie was amazing! It was my first time using Rover as a pet owner, and I needed a sitter for the day while on vacation. My puppy is still fairly young and is very attached to me, but she appeared to settle in pretty quickly and have a great time with some other pups. Bertie stayed in touch while I was out, sending pics and updates, and even recommended some great local spots to check out. Super happy with this experience!”

Mary worked with my early morning drop offs and long work hours which is much appreciated. The frequent pictures and updates were an added bonus. I definitely look forward to booking in the future! About: I’m a mom of two, proud dog owner, and lifelong animal lover who understands just how important it is to know your pets are cared for like family when you’re away. With two dogs of my own, I know the joy of long walks, playtime, and snuggles—and I bring that same energy and love to every pet I care for. I balance my career in marketing with the things I enjoy most: playing pickleball, cheering on college football, hiking, and spending time outdoors in nature. I’m reliable, responsible, and detail-oriented, which means you can trust me to not only care for your pets but also look after your home with the same level of responsibility I give to my own. Whether it’s daily walks, playtime, or just keeping your pets company, I’d love to make sure they’re happy, safe, and well-loved while you’re away. Work from home primarily so plenty of time for outdoor fun and bathroom breaks. Schedules are flexible to meet your needs so just let me know how we can help! When I’m caring for dogs in someone else’s home, I make it a priority to keep their routine as normal and consistent as possible. I follow the owner’s instructions carefully—whether that’s feeding times, walk schedules, or favorite play activities—so the dogs feel comfortable and secure. I always give them plenty of attention, exercise, and affection, while also respecting the home by keeping things neat, tidy, and safe. My goal is to make sure both the pets and their owners feel at ease, knowing that their dogs are happy, cared for, and loved while they’re away.
About: I am part owner of a dog training business and have dog trainers on premises. I’ve had dogs in my life since I can remember. I believe dogs are the best medicine for anyone. I limit myself to only a few dogs at a time so that I can ensure each pup gets all the love, attention and care they need while their owners are away. I am a remote worker, so I am home nearly 24/7 so your pup will be well cared for and treated as though a member of the family while staying with me. I cater to what each dog needs. Your dog will never be left alone unattended while staying with me. I have 6 acres so there is plenty of opportunity to explore.

“Keri was AMAZING with Coco and the became fast friends! She sent photos of their activities and made sure to keep Coco very hydrated and out of the 90 degree weather. Take your fur-baby to Keri, they will be loved!!!”

“We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter for Bowie! Jayden was wonderful from start to finish. He kept us updated throughout our time away with regular messages and adorable photos of Bowie, which gave us peace of mind. It was clear that Bowie was well cared for and happy. Jayden’s communication was excellent - they were always responsive and proactive about letting us know how things were going. I came back to one very content puppy! I would absolutely book with Jayden again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring sitter.”

About: I am a social person. I’ll work hard and take good care of your dog. I have a dog back home. I love dogs a lot. I’m free all day Friday-Sunday. I’m a former football player so I know that I’ll be dedicated to giving your dog the best care. I truly love dogs. We have a playground for the dog here at my apartment. They have treats everywhere for pets and I believe this is a great space for a dog to be.
“We were impressed with Jessica’s care for our border collie mix Boots for a very long day care day. Boots enjoyed the fenced-in yard and romping with another visiting dog. With a lovely, flexible, positive personality, Jess made us feel assured that Boots was being well taken care of. We would highly recommend her to others and will definitely seek her services again, when we return to town and need temporary dog care.”

About: When my rather difficult but beloved rescue passed away in November 2024, I realized for the first time how integral dogs are to living a happy and healthy life. In April 2025, I decided it was time to add a new addition to my family, and I now have a 7 month old female German Shepherd, Pilar (who I'm pretty sure is a Golden Retriever trapped in a Shepherd's body). Pilar is the most friendly dog you'll ever meet, and she LOVES to play with other dogs. I am constantly searching for quality day care for her, and I find it's difficult to find someone who is truly reliable and provides safe, clean, and comfortable care. So I've decided to take matters into my own hands and invite pups into my home. When your dog stays with me, she's going to enjoy all of the comforts she's accustomed to at home. Whether that be napping on the couch, playing in the fenced-in backyard, or lounging at my feet while I work from home. I even have a couple of crates if you'd prefer your pup enjoy crated nap time. I've had pets my entire life and have plenty of experience with animals of all types and all personalities, including damaged rescues. I've been through extensive training with Pilar and am happy to apply the skills I've learned when working with your dog, as well. My main goal with providing this service is to create an environment where pups who really enjoying playing with each other can do so safely and comfortably while enjoying the kind of care they're accustomed to at home. Please note that I have a 10 year old cat, and while she knows how to hold her ground with dogs, I cannot accept any pups who don't tolerate cats or who would put her safety at risk. I work from home full-time so pet care is woven into the fabric of my daily routine. I can support hourly potty breaks and am able to take frequent breaks for walks, playtime, mealtime, potty time, snuggles, etc. I have a fenced in yard where dogs will be let out for supervised play and potty breaks. Depending on the time of year and your preference, I have a small doggy pool so that dogs can play in the water to release energy. Indoors, dogs are welcome on the couch and on the dog beds. During nap time, I can crate your pup if you prefer, or she can be loose. The only place that's off limits are my two guest bedrooms.
About: Hi! I’m new to Rover and am currently trying to build my portfolio. I volunteered at the Cincinnati Animal Shelter for 3 consecutive years before I moved to Indianapolis, where I volunteered and fostered at Indy Humane!! I am now in Charlottesville for the summer as I prepare for law school and my boyfriend starts his Masters at UVA. I am currently available because Rover is my main work priority this summer, allowing me flexible scheduling and consistent availability for bookings, care, and communication. I am more than happy to play/watch over with your pet and take care of them in your home or crate them if need be! Whatever works best for you.

“Rachel is great!! She was thorough with communications. I was on a tight schedule and we decided to meet up for the drop off and pick up. She was on time and ready to go! Ziggy is still very much a puppy and has a ton of energy. He spent the day with Rachel and I could tell he had so much fun because he was happy and healthy, but completely worn out. Thanks so much to Rachel for taking great care of my pup. Highly recommend!!!”
