Thanks for taking care of Mazie last minute while we toured some of the area attractions. It was a relief to know she was happy and having fun while we were gone.

Paula took excellent care of our dog Loki. We were visiting from out of town and need a place for Loki while we visited older relatives. Paula was good with communication and Loki came back all happy. Definitely recommend!

They were super helpful and caring. They understand dog thinking and went out of their way to accommodate the walk we had to do because we were pulling a camper. Definitely recommend!

Jessica was a great sitter for our precious pup, Bruin. Jessica’s communication with me during Bruin’s stay was great and she even sent pics of Bruin while he was in daycare to let me know Bruin was doing well. I would highly recommend Jessica to watch over your pup.

Mary and her family did such an amazing job taking care of Buttercup. I definitely felt very comfortable each day and prior to booking. Mary worked with my early morning drop offs and long work hours which is much appreciated. The frequent pictures and updates were an added bonus. I definitely look forward to booking in the future! Thank you so much again

About: 💚 Personalized Boarding & Doggy Daycare! Your dog will be treated like part of the family while you're away. I intentionally keep my numbers low so every guest receives plenty of individualized attention and supervision. I'm a homeschool mom, homemaker, and lifelong dog lover. My husband, two daughters, and three dogs make our home a safe, loving environment where someone is home most of the day. Whether your pup enjoys outdoor play, couch snuggles, or a quiet place to relax, I'll do my best to make them feel comfortable and at home. 🐾 Doggy Daycare Daycare includes supervised play, rest time, outdoor breaks, and lots of attention. Drop-off begins at 6:00 AM, and pick-up must be completed by 5:00 PM. Daycare stays are limited to 10 hours. 🐾 Meet & Greets Required I require a free meet-and-greet before accepting new clients to ensure we're a great fit for each other. 🐾 Breed Restrictions For insurance reasons, I am unable to accept Doberman Pinschers, Pit Bulls, Rottweilers, Chow Chows, German Shepherds, or wolf hybrids (including mixes). I look forward to meeting you and your furry family member! As a homeschooling mom, I'm home with the dogs most of the day, which allows me to provide plenty of care, potty breaks, playtime, and love throughout the day. Our routine is flexible, so guest dogs can settle into a comfortable rhythm that works for them. Whether your pup enjoys playing, lounging on the couch, following people around the house, or taking frequent naps, they'll have plenty of opportunities to do so. If I leave the house, it's typically only for a short period of time. I'm happy to accommodate dogs who are crate-trained or who prefer a crate for naps, meals, or bedtime. Your dog's safety and comfort are my top priorities. I carefully supervise all interactions between guest dogs and resident dogs, and I take time to learn each dog's personality, preferences, and needs. Meals are served separately to create a calm, stress-free environment and prevent food-related conflicts. I'm happy to follow your dog's normal feeding schedule, medication routine, and any special instructions you provide. My home features a large, securely fenced yard where dogs can safely play, explore, and burn off energy under supervision. Whether your pup loves fetch, sniffing every blade of grass, or simply relaxing outdoors, they'll have plenty of opportunities for exercise and enrichment. At bedtime, I do my best to maintain your dog's normal routine. Whether they sleep in a crate, on a dog bed, or in another familiar setup, I want them to feel comfortable, secure, and at home during their stay.

About: I am a social person. I’ll work hard and take good care of your dog. I have a dog back home. I love dogs a lot. I’m free all day Friday-Sunday. I’m a former football player so I know that I’ll be dedicated to giving your dog the best care. I truly love dogs. We have a playground for the dog here at my apartment. They have treats everywhere for pets and I believe this is a great space for a dog to be.

About: I started my journey with dogs 4 years ago and have not looked back enjoying every moment since. I am a certified trainer who loves improving the relationship between human and dog. We have a dog yard plus 5 acres. All dogs stay in our extra bedroom, which is now considered the dog room. I personally have two dogs, a cattle dog and a husky mix. They are both very social with all other dogs. We like to have a good time here but I keep a very safe environment for the dogs, no fighting or picking on one another. NO DOG IS TURNED AWAY. If you think your dog is aggressive, I can and will evaluate them so that if possible, we will get them socializing with their own kind and having a great time. Thanks, have a good day! I train dogs for a living so I stay at my house 7 days a week besides when I work with clients and those lessons tend to run about an hour but no more than 2 hours! I have 9 years experience running my own kennel and have two dogs with a large fence so there will be no boredom here! I do prefer to kennel dogs for the night but as we get comfortable with each other they will start to earn more freedom! Pet care is my full time job and i wouldn’t have it any other way, it has been a blessing. I hope I can help make your schedule less stressful! While you’re away, let your dogs play! I have a five foot fenced in dog yard specifically for dogs. We also have another 5 acres that we will walk all client dogs on during their stay with us.-

Jenny is a wonderful dog sitter. Couldn’t recommend her more highly. She helped care for my golden after her cancer diagnosis and made sure she had lots of fun, attention, and happy times. Also wonderful handling the less glamorous parts of medicine and appetite changes. Tons of photos and updates, and incredibly flexible with drop-off and pick-up times. Very grateful to have had Jenny as a sitter, thank you!

About: Hi! I’m new to Rover and am currently trying to build my portfolio. I volunteered at the Cincinnati Animal Shelter for 3 consecutive years before I moved to Indianapolis, where I volunteered and fostered at Indy Humane!! I am now in Charlottesville for the summer as I prepare for law school and my boyfriend starts his Masters at UVA. I am currently available because Rover is my main work priority this summer, allowing me flexible scheduling and consistent availability for bookings, care, and communication. I am more than happy to play/watch over with your pet and take care of them in your home or crate them if need be! Whatever works best for you.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life and truly love them like family. I have hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages, from energetic puppies to sweet senior dogs requiring extra patience and attention. Providing a safe, loving, and attentive environment is always my top priority. Having your beloved dog in my home means they’ll receive dedicated, around-the-clock care. I’m currently transitioning from my work-from-home position to boarding dogs full-time, which allows me to provide constant supervision, structure, and plenty of love and attention. Your pup will never feel alone and will always be treated like part of the family. Dog boarding in my home is set up in a dedicated, clean, and comfortable space in my basement. Each dog stays in a spacious 4x6, top-of-the-line kennel featuring turf grass flooring, a cozy dog bed, and a soft fleece blanket to ensure comfort and relaxation. Throughout the day, dogs receive plenty of walks, playtime, and enrichment activities in addition to regular potty breaks. Because I am transitioning to boarding full-time, I’m able to provide consistent supervision, attention, and care to ensure every pup feels safe, comfortable, and loved during their stay.

We were impressed with Jessica’s care for our border collie mix Boots for a very long day care day. Boots enjoyed the fenced-in yard and romping with another visiting dog. With a lovely, flexible, positive personality, Jess made us feel assured that Boots was being well taken care of. We would highly recommend her to others and will definitely seek her services again, when we return to town and need temporary dog care.

Emil provided a nice experience for our two Cavachon's. This was our first experience using Rover as we began a long trip south. I admit I was a bit anxious with first time leaving dogs with someone they never met but Emil had good reviews. We used Emil's services for a half day as we visited Monticello. On our way we had car trouble and our trip was delayed and Emil was flexible moving the morning sitting to the afternoon. Our dogs seemed content when we returned.

FAQs for Doggy Day Care - Cobham Park

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for Doggy Day Care in Cobham Park on Rover is $33.3 per day (as of June 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Doggy Day Care easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Doggy Day Care. For more information on service fees, click here .

As of June 2026, there are 156 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Cobham Park. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Cobham Park commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in VA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 156 sitters in Cobham Park, 90% respond to messages in under an hour.

You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
