About: I am a new grad physician assistant currently awaiting credentialing for my new job in pediatrics and spending my time off walking dogs! I am a huge dog lover and a very active person. I used to dog and cat sit as a side hustle prior to PA school and now that I have some free time I would love to walk dogs in the community until I start a new medical career in June. I always had dogs growing up and have background caring for many pets in cville as well as a medical background. I currently have a very flexible schedule and I am around to walk dogs most days. Im not yet back to working in medicine so I am home most days Happy to walk dogs any distance/amount of time/ route. Also happy to jog with dogs if clients prefer and if the dog is used to jogging (I am a runner). Also willing to take dogs to client preferred parks or trails.

About: I’ve loved animals since before I could walk and I’ve spent a lifetime caring for them. Having worked for the CASPCA I gained a tremendous amount of knowledge about what it means for our pets to truly thrive and what they need to lead happy healthy lives. Our family treats your pet like they’re our own and make him/her feel right at home. They will spend their days with tons of enrichment activities; daily walks, tons of play time and endless snuggles if they’ll let me and so much more. This is my passion, loving animals and helping people. What more could you ask for? I would absolutely love a chance to chat with you and answer any questions you have. I’m a stay at home mom and have plenty of time to care for your pets during the day/at night just as you would if you were home! I can adjust our schedule to fit your pets needs so they feel right at home and stay on routine. We have a fenced in yard with plenty of room for your furry friend to play and two active pups who love a play date with friends. All interactions with your pets and ours will be closely monitored to ensure everyone’s safety. I will get information from you about your preferences and schedule for your pet so I can mirror that while they are staying in our home. I will do everything possible to make your pet happy and comfortable while you are away!

“Roy Kent was well-cared for while I went away for three days and two nights. Ben sent lots of pictures of RK and the other dogs he was watching over the weekend. I could fully relax and have a great time. Thank You Ben and Sequoia!”

“Nicky and Bruce have a wonderful fenced yard in a beautiful country setting; they are very kind and caring and took great care of our sweet puppy. He seemed quite happy and must have been played with the whole time because he slept the entire way home. Definitely would recommend them.”

“Happy pup and wonderful people! Thank you so much. Do not hesitate to book with Nora and Aaron. They will take exceptional care of your fur baby :)”

About: Animals are a joy to me and always have been. It would be an honor if I were able to tend to them. Thank you for your time and looking at my profile! I look forward to speaking with you! I have prior experience in the veterinary field, so I believe that I have a better understanding and knowledge of the health and well being of an animal. I have had experience with multiple doctors in the preparation of animals before surgery that include: shaving the designated area of surgery, cleaning the surgical area, hooking vitals and oxygen tubes for the animal, carrying the animal to and from the surgical table to rehabilitation zones, etc. I also Interacted with the patients owner to receive information regarding their animal and was in charge of filling prescriptions and properly checking them out. I am currently working part time in the mornings so I have all day and all night to take care of your precious fur baby! I live on a private property with roughly 17 acres. The backside is fenced in however the front side is not but it is an open yard for plenty of fetch and playtime with your for babies. It is roughly 200 yards away from the main road, so no wondering into traffic around here! :)

About: I've had pets all my life. From big dogs, to tiny dogs, to stray cats having kittens under my shed. I even had a hedgehog when I was in college (the first time). I am currently enrolled at BRCC to become a Veterinarian Technician. I have worked in wildlife rehabilitation as well. In doing this I have been lucky enough to gain experience with various species of animals, wound care, rescue and release. My husband and I just welcomed our first baby in Spring 2023 and this has limited my pet sitting availability. I’m currently only doing drop in visits close to home. Please reach out with any questions. I have basically no traveling plans for the summer. I do work in town as a bartender, but it’s limited to one or two nights a week. When I’m not there I’m with my son, but I am pretty flexible! Just shoot me a text and we can always work something out. My yard is easily escapable so I will always have your doggies on a leash to keep them safe. My two tiny hounds will gladly help me keep them company and entertained when staying at my place!

19. Tyler W.
“To whom it may concern, Tyler has always had a special place for animals. He donated a summer to work with a Vet as she operated on animals for the local SPCA. He worked with a Vets office until his work schedule got in the way of his college classes. His dream is yo be a Vet and help animals. His heart has as always been for cats and dogs. I have also seen a few lizards, spiders, and turtles too. He is honest and goes above and beyond to take care of the animals in his care, as well as the residence he is staying in.”

20. Katie F.
“Katie is absolutely amazing! She has cared for my crazy little dog Maddy so many times, and has somehow been able to keep her calm which can even be difficult for me to do at times! My dog can be very specific with her needs, and Katie has listened to my instructions and also had a great intuition when it comes to Maddy which not everyone has shown. She has her own dogs too, so being a pet parent is something she brings to every dog she meets, not just her own. You can’t go wrong with Katie!!”
