About: I grew up with dogs and have always loved them! Then I got 2 cats as an adult, who are my babies. I also have experience with inter-animal conflict in the home (e.g., pets needing to be kept separate) I work a pretty flexible job from home, so I can be available almost any time of day to take care of and hang out with your pets! I will happily follow any provided instructions regarding your pet’s care. I generally like to let the animal lead our interaction to make them comfortable as well, which I find works well for those that are a little skittish.

About: I have years of hands on experience caring for dogs and cats through personal pet ownership, animal shelter volunteering, fostering, and pet sitting for friends and family. During my undergraduate years, I spent several years volunteering at animal shelters and fostering animals with a wide range of ages, personalities, and care needs. I've cared for young puppies, kittens, adult cats, senior dogs, and older rescues who were still learning potty-training routines. Through these experiences, I've become comfortable working with shy, nervous, and anxious animals, as well as dogs who need extra patience on walks or tend to pull on the leash. I also have experience with basic puppy training, reinforcing commands, managing potty-training accidents, and caring for multiple pets at once. I'm experienced with administering both oral and injectable medications, and I understand the importance of carefully following each pet's specific care instructions. I grew up caring for my family's pug, who lived to be 15 years old, and I currently have a sweet 4 year old rescue dog. I've also fostered and cared for multiple dogs and cats in my home, so I'm familiar with managing different personalities, energy levels, and routines. One of the biggest things fostering has taught me is that every animal is different. Some pets want to play all day, while others prefer quiet company or need a little extra time to warm up. I love getting to know each pet individually and making sure they receive the attention, patience, and affection that works best for them! I'm currently a graduate student at UW-Madison, and one of the best parts of my schedule is that my lab allows me very flexible hours! This gives me plenty of freedom throughout the week to work around your pet's routine and make sure they get the attention and care they deserve. Since I'm not tied to a traditional 9 to 5 schedule, I can make time for dog walks, drop-in visits, playtime, and overnight house sitting. I also have a 4 year old rescue dog of my own, so walks, feeding, playtime, and spending quality time with animals are already part of my everyday routine. About: I’ve been caring for animals for over 12 years and have experience with dogs, cats, farm animals, and wildlife. My professional animal care experience began as a teenager working at Pine Ridge Pet Resort, where I cared for dogs of all sizes, ages, and temperaments. My responsibilities included feeding, walking, cleaning, administering medications, monitoring behavior, and providing safe, attentive care in both boarding and daycare settings. Since then, animal care has remained a huge part of my life. I have extensive hands-on experience caring for senior pets, including administering multiple oral medications, insulin injections, and providing extra support for aging dogs with changing mobility and health needs. I also have experience giving medication to cats and caring for puppies. In addition to domestic pet care, I worked at a wildlife rescue center where I assisted with first aid, fluid administration, and hands-on care for injured animals. That experience strengthened my ability to stay calm, observant, and compassionate in high-stress situations. I work 40h each week Monday through Friday, so I am mainly available on the weekends only for now. I am getting married in a year & have 2 degrees, so I have both debt and savings to add to. I am hoping to help care for pets & put every cent earned on Rover towards my debt In my home, I have a full house of 2 dogs and 2 cats. They all get along great, but my senior dog, Daisy, doesn't get along with dogs that don't live with her. Therefore, my home is not available currently for pet sitting, but I am familiar with pet sitting for others in their homes in order to assure their pets feel safe. In my home, I feed 2x/day in an 8 hour period and walk my dogs every 3-4 hours. When it comes to other people's pets, I am open to whatever care routine your animals are used to. No matter how many steps are involved, I can do anything you need done, and I will do it with a smile on my face. I will also respect any and all boundaries in your home and only go in the designated pet areas. I have had multiple people require I stay out of certain rooms, and it has never been an issue. I am deeply appreciative of the trust I am given when caring for pets, so I won't take it for granted by disrespecting your home or boundaries.

About: I’ve worked/volunteered at the Humane Society for two years. I’ve watched friends dogs since I was 12 years old. Love to take dogs on walks, to the dog parks and just spend time with them. I have 2 dogs already at home so I can only watch your pets at your house. I currently work full time so pretty much work around my full time job. I’m more available in the afternoons, there are some days that i can do mornings. I treat them like my own with all the tender love and care they need. I have a fenced in backyard that the dogs love to play in.

About: My love for animals started as a child going to dog shows and pet sitting for friends. I love watching shows like Caesar Milan and PitBulls and Parolees. Over the years, I have owned multiple cats with varying personalities and temperaments, petsat, and walked all sizes of dogs from chihuahuas to Irish wolfhounds. Also, I have worked with aggressive or easily overexcited breeds. If your pet is like this, just let me know and I will do my best to care for them. I decided to become a professional on Rover because I am passionate about animals and enjoy every minute with them. It also provides me with the flexible hours I need to care for my young daughters. I am available after 8:30 am for drop ins or walks. For boarding I am able to keep overnight. I have a large, fenced yard for dogs to run, play, and do their business. I can keep pets separated upstairs and downstairs if needed. I am very respectful of other's personal property if you need me to care for your pets in your own home.

About: We are a family of four that wants to get a dog some day when our children are a bit older. We have two daughters aged 9 and 5. We love to do dog sitting so we can still enjoy a dog in our home. I am a high school teacher and my wife stays home 3 out of 5 days/week with our two young daughters. My wife grew up with Labradors and I grew up with Maltese and Terriers. We cannot wait to have our own dog again. Will your dog be the one to convince us of what type of dog we want for our family? Because we do not currently have a dog and only take one dog at a time, your dog will be very well cared for and receive tons of attention and affection! **once in awhile, we may have two bookings that overlap slightly depending on pick-up/drop-off times, but if that happens we will communicate that with you! My wife is home Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays with our daughters. On Mondays and Tuesdays, we are gone from 8:30-4:00. If that is too long of a period for your dog to go without a potty break please let us know! I am a teacher at Memorial highschool (just 5 mins from our home) and can easily come home during my lunch break for a quick dog walk! We have a fenced in yard for your dog to explore. Otherwise, we will let your dog roam anywhere in the house! If needed, we have baby gates and are able to section off parts of our home.

About: My pet-sitting experiences include looking after both cats and dogs day to day and for extended periods of time. When taking care of cats, I make sure they have clean water and food at all times; keep their environment clean; watch over them and see if they are healthy; and interact with them by playing with them on a daily basis. It is important for me to carefully follow all the instructions concerning their feeding schedule, treatment, taking medication, and other specific care. It goes without saying that I make sure that the pets receive proper meals and have clean water to drink. I also try to keep the house as clean as possible, including litter boxes for cats and any messes that may occur. I also observe the pets to ensure everything seems normal and they’re healthy. I believe that building trust with both pets and owners is essential, I’ll always provide them with updates and photographs about the current condition of the pets. My goal is to make sure their pet is cared for and mostly importantly happy.
