1. Laura S.
“Laura has been absolutely phenomenal with the weekly recurring dog walks. She gained the trust of our skeptical Bernese mountain dog immediately, and of course our golden loves her. Highly recommend!”

2. Allison A.
“Allison by far exceeded our expectations as a dog walker. We were a little nervous as this was our first time going through the app, but she made the process painless and eased our concerns by her professionalism. At the meet and greet she took detailed notes about our dogs behaviors, triggers, likes/dislikes, daily routine, and asked all the important questions regarding their care. It was comforting to know that she took the time to learn everything about our pups and listened intently about their care instructions. We were very pleased with her services and would definitely recommend her to all new/potential dog parents who are in need of someone reliable and trustworthy to take care of their fur babies. We will definitely try to use Allison’s services in the future!”

3. Carla P.

“Carla was great. She showed up on time and got our dog out for a walk for us while we were gone. Would absolutely love to have her car for our dog again.”

About: I am open for Dog walking and house sitting for all sizes of dogs and cats, as well as general care for small critters such as rabbits, hamsters, fish, birds and guinea pigs. I also have many years experience with horses, goats, sheep, and pigs. I have a very flexible schedule at this time. I've been an animal owner since I was a child. Always had a dog and cats growing up, also had fish, birds, hamsters and rabbits over the years. Despite being a part time student I have all online classes so fitting in your pets needs are very easily done at any hour. I live in an area of many bike trails and walking paths as well as a personal fenced in yard for any dogs who don't have access to dog parks or have socializing issues in large groups. I am currently unemployed and looking for a Part Time job. I will schedule animal care around that future schedule. I miss my rover days when I switched to full time work prior. I treat every clients pets and home with respect and care for it as my own. When I'm house sitting i often supply my own snacks and such and tell pet owners they don't need to supply me. I stay within the set boundaries of each home as well.

5. Taryn E.

“Taryn was amazing! Kept me posted on how our dog was doing, making me feel at ease and confident.”

6. Jennifer J.
About: As a child, I had both cats and dogs in the house and we frequently took in abandoned animals, treated their medical problems, and found them homes (sometimes, that ended up being OUR home!). I have been pet-sitting and doing drop-in visits for friends and neighbors since I was a teenager and I've never met an animal that I didn't get along with. I believe that all dogs can be good dogs if they're approached with patience and dedication. As an adult, I've fostered for rescue groups as well as volunteered, doing intake, cleaning, and assisting with medical treatment. I've done drop-in visits and house-sitting for animals with special needs that required medication, special feeding, or subcutaneous fluids. I have a close relationship with my vet and his staff as well as many other resources to help me make good decisions regarding caring for my own animals. I currently have a boxer/pitbull mix who was born in a foster home and adopted through Fetch rescue. I also have two cats and several fish currently in my home. If I'm house-sitting or doing drop-in visits for your dog(s), I don't mind checking in on other critters. I've had many different kinds of pets in my life. Please feel free to call or text me with any questions about me or my skills. I work part-time and I have a very flexible schedule, so I can make time to walk dogs together or individually. I feed my dog on a schedule when we're alone, but she adjusts easily when we have other dogs stay with us. I have a small fenced-in yard, which my is allowed to roam free in. We have a fairly quiet neighborhood to walk in, and we live close to a couple of dog parks. We have a crate, a folding corral, and baby gates to separate spaces if we need to. I have two large dog beds and several cat beds around the house.

7. Salem E.
“Salem would be a great fit for anyone looking to find a caring and flexible person to look after their pets. With a slew of geckos of their own and two family dogs, they have experience with furry and not-so-furry friends! Their genuine passion for animals shines through in every interaction, making them a trustworthy and compassionate caretaker. I highly recommend Salem to anyone seeking top-notch care for their furry family members!”

8. Brittany S.

“Brittany has been walking our puppy twice a week for several weeks now and it’s been going swimmingly. Communication has been really good and it’s been such a weight off our shoulders to know that Brittany will be giving our dog a fun break in the middle of the day when we can’t be home. She sends photos and little updates to let us know how their walks went and those are really fun to see. Highly recommend Brittany!”

9. Lisa T.
“Lisa is great! Good communication and my rather high maintenance hound dog adores her. That’s really the most important thing, right? She takes him on long walks every day. Lisa is the best!”

10. Sarah W.

“Sarah took our 13 yo rescue dog for a walk which she really enjoyed. Sarah has taken care of our dog in the past for over night and has always been trustworthy.”

11. Henry M.

“Amazing. Professional! On time and sweet ❤️❤️”

12. Amy J.
About: I have been an animal lover all of my life; from dogs, to cats to rodents and turtles and more. I know that a well-trained pet requires attention and routine. I am proud to offer consistent potty breaks, playtime and walks to keep your best friend happy and healthy while you are away. I am more so available on the weekends (Friday-Sunday) but am willing to help with daily potty breaks, meal time and walks throughout the week. I have a pretty flexible schedule so if you do require overnights during that week, I am willing to accommodate. I look forward to helping you feel more secure in your decision to use a pet sitter over leaving them in a kennel. Your pet family will be welcomed as one of my own.

13. Piper J.
“I have a pretty anxious dog, but Piper is very patient with him and has been deliberate about building his trust. I can always count on her to take great care of him when I am out of town. I am so grateful to have someone reliable I can count on to looking after him!”

14. Kagen & Matthew D.

About: Hello fellow dog lovers! I am currently a Madison resident and Rover employee for 5 years. I have been dog walking and sitting both independently and through dog walking apps. Although I do not currently have a pet, I am delighted to get my fix of dog love by caring for your furry friend. I have adopted a pup of my own in the past, and I know first hand that a busy schedule can really interfere with your dog's needs . The main reason I joined this business is to solve that problem . I am knowledgeable in pet safety and some beginner training . I am very flexible with my schedule since I am self employed , and I do my best to stay in communication with you throughout the visit. I can't wait to meet you and your pet! I am currently self employed and have a very flexible schedule, so I am able to take some last minute requests most of the time. I live in Sherman Village area, and am just steps away from the beautiful Cherokee Marsh Unit, where many walks and dog park visits await.
