Elena was great! She was very communicative, and asked questions when she had questions. She was very good with my dog who can be guarded until he gets to know. She was patient and caring with him until he felt comfortable with her. I would definitely recommend her!

Joaquin took excellent care for our two dogs. You can always tell when you return based on their behavior. We have one that is super shy and she even received an award for socialization. This was so cute and such a fun personal touch. I highly recommend both Anne and Joaquin. They are very responsive to all communication and take an exceptional care of your pets and home.

About: I am passionate about animals and I am working towards a degree in Bio-sciences with a goal of becoming a veterinarian ultimately. I have been caring for animals since I was 8. I am comfortable with all temperaments, and animals. I'm a online student at ASU so I'll have plenty of time to care for your animals. I'm available at all times and days with appropriate notice. I have a fenced yard and 1 dog friendly dog at this time. I would prefer to offer services directly to my clients home where possible other arrangements should be discussed in advance.

About: Hi! My name is Kelly, and I have 10 years of experience caring for dogs and cats of all sizes, breeds, and personalities. I grew up with Giant to medium-sized dogs, including Pit Bulls, Rottweilers, Mastiffs, Labrador Retrievers, and Australian Heelers. I've also cared for smaller breeds such as Pomeranians, Chihuahuas, and Maltese through pet sitting and dog walking. My caregiving style is patient, calm, and playful. When meeting a new pet, I believe in letting them set the pace. Rather than forcing interaction, I give dogs space to become comfortable, let them approach me on their own, and allow them to learn my scent and presence naturally. This approach has helped me build trust with both outgoing and shy dogs. I enjoy spending time outdoors with pets, whether that's a morning walk, playtime, or simply relaxing together. I have also volunteered with the Pinal County Animal Shelter, where I helped walk and socialize dogs. Additionally, I have worked with Maricopa County's Animal Shelter for their "Tails around town" program, where I would take out and care for adoptive animals for the day, allowing them to socialize and meet their potential new families! Through both volunteer work and personal experience, I've become comfortable working with dogs of different sizes, energy levels, and temperaments. I'm currently a student at Northern Arizona University and have professional experience in caregiving and service-oriented roles, which have strengthened my reliability, communication skills, and attention to detail. Whether your pet needs a walk, a drop-in visit, or overnight care in their own home, I will treat them with the same care and respect I would give my own. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members! I'm available whenever your furry family needs me! I'm currently home from college and have a very flexible schedule, allowing me to build my routine around the pets and families I work with. Whether it's early morning walks, midday drop-ins, evening visits, or overnight stays, I'm able to adapt my schedule to meet your pet's needs. Pet care is something I genuinely enjoy and look forward to. I love getting to know each pet's unique personality and building trust with them over time. My goal is to provide reliable, consistent care while giving owners peace of mind knowing their pets are being treated like family. I try to make a pet's time away from their owner feel as normal as possible. Every animal is different, so I don't believe in taking the exact same approach with every pet. Some dogs want to play immediately, while others need time to warm up. Some cats want attention right away, while others prefer to observe from across the room first. When meeting a new pet, I usually let them come to me. I give them space to get comfortable, learn my scent, and interact at their own pace. I've found that being patient and calm helps build trust much faster than forcing attention or excitement. Having owned and cared for breeds ranging from Rottweilers, Pit Bulls, Mastiffs, and Heelers to Chihuahuas, Pomeranians, and Maltese, I'm comfortable adapting to different personalities, energy levels, and routines. Whether your pet enjoys a morning walk, playtime in the yard, or simply having someone nearby while you're away, I'm happy to meet them where they're at. I also understand that I'm not just caring for your pet but I'm a guest in your home. I make an effort to keep things tidy, follow your instructions carefully, and provide updates so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pet is in good hands.

Robert was the perfect choice for me. I needed to go to the emergency room, and I had a friend who took Bernie for 1 day. I put in my request and Robert responded immediately. Since I was in the ER he met with my friend, and she gave him all of Bernie's needs. After meeting with Robert, she said that she liked him so much that she would not hesitate to use him for her 2 cream goldens. Robert made 2 great impressions on one stop. I would use him every chance I get. He did light housework and sent pics of Bernie and made sure Bernie was a happy boy. Thank you Robert.

About: I've taken care of dogs since I was 5 years old. I still remember my first dog's name "Princess." I got a career as a foster parent and this make me so happy to help kittens and puppies to feed them and help them grow healthy. I'm currently a full-time employee, but I have plenty of time and energy to take care of your babies when they need a petsitter. I would love to help! I have a fenced yard with a little chicken farm. My yard is free of toxic products. It is very clean and has plenty of space for your babies to run and play if they need to stay.

We couldn’t be happier with our experience! She did an amazing job watching our dogs and went above and beyond by also taking care of the house and watering all of our plants. She was incredibly responsible, reliable, and gave us such peace of mind while we were away. Our dogs were happy and well cared for, and everything at home looked perfect when we returned. We will absolutely be using her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy sitter!

Kimberly was absolutely phenomenal!! We’ve never left our dogs with anyone that wasn’t family before so we were extremely nervous leaving for a 5 day trip. She came for a meet & greet and was lovely with the dogs. During our stay she sent over 300 photos- we absolutely loved it! It felt like we never left because we saw so many photos of our dogs. We even joked that they didn’t even miss us because they looked so happy. She gave a run down of what was going on each day and was super patient when our one dog gave her a hard time in the beginning when she was coming into the house. Overall, I could not recommend someone enough. Our dogs loved her and we came home to a clean home and happy, healthy pups!! Will definitely be booking with her again next time we leave town. It made our vacation so much more enjoyable knowing the dogs were in good hands.

I’ve cared for young and geriatric dogs, dogs with anxiety, and have experience giving medication (oral meds and eye drops!) I’m off for the summer before school, so my schedule is flexible! My home is not available for pets right now, but I am happy to take care of your pet in their own home! I am open to dropping in as well as staying the night to keep them company! I would like to keep their routine as steady as possible, and am happy to play with them, let them out, take them on walks, etc. as best fits their normal schedule!

About: My home has never been without pets. I currently have 4 loving dogs of my own. They are a mixed breed pack of all ages. I care for one senior dog at the moment. I’ve raised several litters of puppies and found them great homes. I was a preschool teacher before so I know patience better than most. Animals have a big place in my heart. I run a business from home so I have super flexible hours and availability to tend to any and all care needs. Your pet will be my priority. I prefer to care for the pets in their own home and familiar areas. I find this gives them a good sense that nothing is changing and reduces stress for the animal. I am very familiar with crates and crate trained animals. I pay close attention to instructions given for food and medications. I will spend time with them not just drop by for 5 minutes, giving love, attention, exercise(if permitted).

FAQs for House Sitting - Wymola

Frequently asked questions about Rover

As of July 2026, there are 213 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Wymola. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:

  • Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
  • Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
  • Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
  • Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.

The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Wymola walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.

It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Wymola maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:

  • Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
  • Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
  • Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.

Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Wymola choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Wymola. On Rover:

  • 95% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 100% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
