“Gabrielle did a great job with Maggie! Gabrielle is very responsive and easy to work with. Maggie got lots of exercise and I got lots of pictures. I would definitely use Gabrielle again!”

“Hands down, Guinevere has been the best dog sitter we’ve ever had. She responded in a very timely manner, kept us updated on how our three dogs were doing and sent many pictures. Two of our dogs normally go on a hunger strike when we leave, but this was no problem with Guinevere there. She even won over our crabby dog! House was left cleaner than when we left. We’re excited to book with Guinevere again in the near future.”

“Bryce was FANTASTIC with my dog Larry!! Larry was a rescue and is definitely afraid of a lot of things and people, and has some attachment issues. Bryce broke right through those and the two were buddies by the end of the first day! He's so kind and compassionate, and followed my instructions to a T on how to care for Larry, and sent updates and pictures every step of the way! I will 100% call Bryce again the next time we go out of town.”

“Khalaya is a very sweet person and took excellent care of my two dogs and cat. This was the first time I've hired someone to come take care of my animals, but she put me at ease when I met her. My dogs were excited to meet her and I felt comfortable leaving them with her for the weekend. She sent me pictures and a video of them while we were gone and they looked relaxed. I'm surprised my cat came out to meet her, but there's photographic evidence that she did! When we returned, our animals were happy and well cared for. They were happy to see us, but there is no doubt in my mind that they enjoyed getting tons of attention while we were away. I would absolutely have her back the next time we travel! Thank you Khalaya!”

About: I've pet sat since 2014, I've taken good care of their pets for my family and friends.I have a wealth of knowledge of all breeds and love to spoil and play with dogs and cats. I'm looking to work as a full time as a dog walker or pet sitter. I have an open and flexible schedule to provide the best care. I have a questionnaire that helps me learn your pets needs so that I'm ready to step in and make vacations or work days easy on your pet(s).

“Ebony was very wonderful to work with. She was very caring and kind and conscientious and willing to help us in anyway with any little request that we had when she stayed with our kids (our dogs😉) while we were away. She sent us a great amount of pictures and diaries of the day which is great for a pet parent to receive while they’re away. I cannot say enough good things about Ebony and I highly, highly recommend her to take care of any of your pets . We will be contacting Ebony again… if she’s not too busy😊”

“Our dog Goldie is an older dog who is on several medications. Maris did an incredible job during the meet and greet to understand everything. Maris asked so many great questions to make sure she was prepared for everything and then also took some time to meet Goldie. The day she came by to watch Goldie went incredibly smoothly. Constant photo updates as well as text updates to make sure we knew that Goldie’s routine was right on schedule. I could tell by the photos that Goldie really enjoyed Maris’s company and was comfortable right away. Maris made sure our day away was stress free. We could tell that Goldie already misses hanging out with Maris and we will definitely be using her again for any dog sitting going forward!”

“Justina has housesat for us twice now (once for about two weeks and once for a weekend) and watched my two pups and cat. She’s done an awesome job, kept us informed, sent pictures, and left the house very clean. We’ll be using her again anytime we travel!!”

“We had an unexpected need for a dog sitter, and Rob stepped in without hesitation. From the moment we met him, he was incredibly receptive, knowledgeable, and immediately got along with our dogs. Managing five dogs is no small task, and Rob handled everything flawlessly. Despite the last-minute request, he was more than willing to help with little to no questions asked, which truly put our minds at ease during a stressful situation. Knowing Rob was at our home allowed us to focus on what we needed to without worrying about our dogs. He was communicative throughout the stay, sending updates and photos without us even needing to ask. When we returned home, everything was exactly as we had hoped—our house was spotless, and our dogs were happy, comfortable, and clearly well cared for. We absolutely plan to use Rob again in the future and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for someone they can truly trust with both their pets and their home.”

“David was amazing with our three pups and they took to him so well!! Its wonderful to know there is such caring people in the world! Would use and recommend him 1,000x over!!”

“We are so happy we found Brittni to watch our pets over the holiday weekend! She was eager to help during a last minute booking, was very responsive, and we came home to happy pets that were well taken care of while we were away. We will definitely book her again for future trips. Thank you Brittni!!”

“Olivia was absolutely wonderful with our anxious, separation-anxiety dog! She work very hard to make sure he was comfortable and happy the entire time and we are very grateful for it! We will definitely be utilizing her services again”

“Jessica was amazing! She took great care of our dog and our home. She is definitely the best Rover I have used. I highly recommend Jessica and I will be reaching out to her first next time we need a sitter.”

“This is the third time that we’ve hired Andrew to house and dog sit for us and it went great, as always! He’s very accommodating and communicative. He’s also very neat and tidy and respectful of our home. I would highly recommend him for your pet sitting/walking needs! Thanks, Andrew!!”

About: Dogs may wear their hearts on their sleeves, but cats make you earn their trust - and I love them both for it. I grew up with both cats and dogs, so I understand the unique quirks, personalities, and care needs that come with both. My goal is simple: make your pets feel loved, safe, and as comfortable as possible until you come back home to them (with plenty of photo updates, of course!) ♥️🐾 Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine! I work a remote, flexible job which allows me to provide reliable care, walks, drop-in visits and plenty of attention to your pets. I’m happy to provide personalized care that helps them feel comfortable while you’re away. I believe pets are happiest when they can stay in the comfort of their own home and maintain their normal routine. My goal is to keep their day as consistent and predictable as possible, giving them the individualized care they need.

We're so thankful we found Robert! As a bit of a neurotic pet parent, and with a whole bunch of special circumstances, we were worried we'd have a hard time trusting anyone to take care of our babies. From the first meet and greet we got a great sense of comfort from Robert, and even the dogs were comfortable with him almost immediately. He was able to take care of our paralyzed 19-year old and kept our other two separate due to behavior issues. We couldn't be happier and would 100% recommend Robert!

Amelia was an absolute life saver, my dogs loved her and she knows how to handle tough walkers! Highly recommend her for anyone with difficult dogs! 5 out of 5 stars. Bonus is she will teach you alot about health food and how to be a smarter consumer with eco friendly products! Definitely will be using her again and again. Very communicative throughout the entire process and stay.

Crystal stayed with my dog and cat for a week while I recovered from surgery. She did a great job, sent frequent photos and updates, and walked Tucker several times each day. This allowed me to recover without worrying about my pets. The dog warmed up to Crystal right away. Sammy the cat, however, tends to be aloof and Crystal said he was friendly only at dinner time. Now that I have found Crystal I’m going to think about some vacation time after I fully recover.
We had such a wonderful experience with Sarah! Our cat is very shy and usually takes a long time to warm up to people, but she was so patient, gentle, and caring throughout the stay. The regular photo updates meant so much to us and really helped us relax while we were away. It was clear our cat felt safe and comfortable in her care, which is not easy to achieve with a shy cat. We came home to a happy, well cared for cat and a house that was just as we left it. We would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a warm and trustworthy house sitter.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .
As of August 2026, there are 1,576 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Wydnor. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Wydnor walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Wydnor maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Wydnor choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Wydnor. On Rover:

- 96% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
