We can’t recommend Alexandria enough! Her first time sitting for us involved rain/snow and she was flexible with everything that comes with dogs and weather! She was very communicative and took great care of our dogs. Was a huge relief to know they were well taken care of and happy with her! We will defiantly book with Alexandria again!

We had such a wonderful experience with Sarah! Our cat is very shy and usually takes a long time to warm up to people, but she was so patient, gentle, and caring throughout the stay. The regular photo updates meant so much to us and really helped us relax while we were away. It was clear our cat felt safe and comfortable in her care, which is not easy to achieve with a shy cat. We came home to a happy, well cared for cat and a house that was just as we left it. We would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a warm and trustworthy house sitter.

This was our first time using Rover and it feels like we hit the jackpot with Juliette. She was absolutely amazing house sitting with our two dogs. Sent us pictures, updates and responded in a timely manner with our questions. We came back to a clean house, happy puppies and she even drew us a picture of our pups. We definitely recommend! We are going to recommend her to all our friends but honestly we would like yo keep her our secret. Thank you so much Juliette!

Crystal was absolutely outstanding during her four-night stay caring for my dog, fish, shrimp, and home. My dog required extra attention—he had to wear a cone and needed regular eye drops—and Crystal handled it all with patience, care, and total competence. It gave me real peace of mind knowing he was in such capable hands. She also went the extra mile to reposition my battery-operated Ring camera so I could watch him napping around the house. On top of that, Crystal cared for my four aquariums (not a small job!) and followed my detailed list of instructions perfectly. Everything was clean, organized, and exactly as I left it. Beyond her reliability, Crystal is simply a joy to work with—sweet, funny, and clearly a true animal lover. It’s obvious she genuinely cares about the pets she looks after. I highly recommend Crystal without hesitation. She went above and beyond, and I would absolutely trust her again.

Bryce was FANTASTIC with my dog Larry!! Larry was a rescue and is definitely afraid of a lot of things and people, and has some attachment issues. Bryce broke right through those and the two were buddies by the end of the first day! He's so kind and compassionate, and followed my instructions to a T on how to care for Larry, and sent updates and pictures every step of the way! I will 100% call Bryce again the next time we go out of town.

About: I am new to Rover but I’ve been pet sitting/dog walking for the last 8 years, i’ve cared for dogs, cats, and other small animals while owners have been away. I have two cats of my own and grew up with cats and dogs! I have volunteered with lucky dog animal rescue the last three years in DC and have handled all kinds of dogs at adoption events and fostered over 30 animals! I am home for the summer waiting for my new job to start! I’m available for dog walks, pet check-ins, and occasional pet sitting (I am not hosting cats or dogs at my own home while in PA). I have many years of experience caring for animals, I have two cats of my own, grew up with cats and dogs, and volunteer for lucky dog. Gabrielle is amazing. Left our house in better condition than we did! And my pups absolutely love her. She was great with my cats, too, who rarely show their faces to anyone but our family. I hate to recommend her so highly, because I want to make sure she is always available for us when we need her! But she is amazing. I do highly recommend.

Hands down, Guinevere has been the best dog sitter we’ve ever had. She responded in a very timely manner, kept us updated on how our three dogs were doing and sent many pictures. Two of our dogs normally go on a hunger strike when we leave, but this was no problem with Guinevere there. She even won over our crabby dog! House was left cleaner than when we left. We’re excited to book with Guinevere again in the near future.
