About: I am new to Rover but I’ve been pet sitting/dog walking for the last 8 years, i’ve cared for dogs, cats, and other small animals while owners have been away. I have two cats of my own and grew up with cats and dogs! I have volunteered with lucky dog animal rescue the last three years in DC and have handled all kinds of dogs at adoption events and fostered over 30 animals! About: I’ve been around dogs and cats my whole life. I’ve done all the chores that come with them. I’ve had a big dog and a little dog almost my entire life. My big dog is now older, so I have to help him with his arthritis. I’ve had to pick up poop, feed them, walk them, and massage him. I don’t have a job currently, so I’m free for anyone’s convenience! Besides when I have to go to the gym, or when im on vacation. I have a fenced yard and a specific place for them to use the bathroom outside, and also have a pee pee pad inside that I switch out twice a day.

We had such a wonderful experience with Sarah! Our cat is very shy and usually takes a long time to warm up to people, but she was so patient, gentle, and caring throughout the stay. The regular photo updates meant so much to us and really helped us relax while we were away. It was clear our cat felt safe and comfortable in her care, which is not easy to achieve with a shy cat. We came home to a happy, well cared for cat and a house that was just as we left it.
