I am a fully insured, nonsmoker, and full time pet sitter. My schedule is very flexible and I provide customized care that fits with your pets' needs. Walks, drop-ins, overnight stays and more! For overnight stays, I'm up with the sun and ready to take care of your furkid. For drop-ins and walks - I’m available between 9 and 7 so that I may accommodate my overnight clients.

If I'm watching your pet in your home, I take the utmost care to ensure that I follow instructions and scan the yard/room before leaving them to make sure they will be safe. I started pet/house sitting in my 20s and have cared for cats and dogs of all sizes. I have a background in Project Management, so my personality and skills lend themselves nicely to being proactive and following plans and routines. I love checklists and following plans that work best for everyone. On the other hand, I know that animals are never completely predictable, and my experience working with former puppy-mill dogs has given me the flexibility and insight to look at the world through a dog's eyes and see what I need to do to help them build trust and confidence.

I have experience with medically needy animals and super-shy, scared furkids. Being creative and attentive to an animal's needs always helps me know what they need. Whatever quirks your furkid may have, I'm open to helping make them feel comfortable with me.
A typical day
Puzzle games, tug, fetch, chase, and more! Whatever your dog needs to feel happy and stimulated, I'll make it happen. I have plenty of experience trouble-shooting and working with each dog's personality. Of course, lots of walks and doing whatever I can do to keep them on their normal schedule is what's most important. I also love to to play with cats and have plenty of fun toys to interact with them.

Compassionate care and love are at the foundation of my service. I have 20 years of experience rehabilitating puppy-mill survivors and working with medically needy dogs. I have a special place in my heart for our furry friends that need extra care and attention. I have experience working with dogs that have had extensive medication schedules and I know how to pill a cat without trauma to either of us. I know what it’s like to build trust with the most scared dogs that have come from traumatizing conditions. I use positive reinforcement and love. And of course, I love well adjusted furkids as well. I know how important routine and schedules are for all of these kids, and I can be counted on to do whatever you need to make your pets feel at ease. Please note that the rate shown for Doggie Daycare includes my service in your house as well as your dog coming to my house.

This was our first trip away on vacation and leaving the dogs for any extended time. Amy went above and beyond to keep us reassured with daily updates, pictures and videos! When we returned home, they were both so relaxed and comfortable! Amy prepared special healthy treats, and their diet and meds were given per instructions! She spent so much time playing with the dogs! Our dogs were so happy and our home was clean! We truly could not have enjoyed ourselves without her care for our pups!
