“Rebecca was amazing with our dog. He’s usually very nervous and anxious when we leave, often times refusing to eat. She worked a miracle and he ate his whole dinner! Excellent care, highly recommend! Will be using Rebecca’s services again. :)”

“Bryce is our lifesaver . We have a dog with a lot of anxiety about EVERYTHING. He was great with remembering her medications and patient when bonding with her . He was a fantastic communicator and collaborated with us to find the best times for home visits. He implemented adaptive strategies when working with our challenging dog. He also cleaned up A LOT of messes with no complaint and showed compassion for our dogs. We have found a true gem and are excited to have him come weekly to maintain the bond built with our pups until the next time we need him for a vacation .”

“Jackie was great. Our finicky girl liked her right away. Jackie spent time with them and followed our instructions to keep our girl safe. The girls looked very happy in the lifts she sent”

“I was going to be longer then expected and didn’t want to leave my new puppy in her crate for so long. I reached out to Emma last minute to see if she was able to take my new puppy out for a walk/potty and she was able. Emma was great and very kind. She sent me pictures and update. She brought peace of mind and I didn’t feel bad leaving Cookie so long. Emma thank you for your help.”

“Ashley has been great! She is very reliable, dependable and timely. She is taking good care of our pup and has him on schedule that works for everybody. Great communication as well as sending pictures of his activities for the day. Thank you so much for being there when we need you, Ashley! it puts us at ease knowing that he is in good hands.”

“Joan was great! She checked in on our 2 dogs while we did a day trip to Maryland. She was great about communicating and sending me updates & pictures. My dogs loved her!”

“Peter took wonderful, attentive care of my two Cats, dropping in for an hour each day to play, pet, groom, tidy-up, and keep them company while I was away. Peter is comfortable, friendly, funny, and made my first Rover experience incredibly easy & pleasant! He also listened carefully to my priorities and preferences and sent detailed communications daily. An all-around great guy that I'd trust with any animal and recommend to any friend and neighbor!”

About: As a lifetime lover of all friends furry and fluffy, I’m passionate about giving cats and dogs all the joy and love they can possibly get! I am a cat mom of two mischievous felines who make it their mission to keep me on my toes, as well as a doggy auntie to several different flavors of canine. I have many years experience with a variety of pets, particularly cats and dogs, and would be thrilled to be another human playing a role in helping to take care of yours! Of my two cats, one of my boys is a tripawd with a special dietary regimen, so I am especially familiar with cats whose needs may be more specialized! I also have experience administering medications to cats, both orally and topically, and would absolutely be comfortable adapting to any additional needs for your furry family members! While I don't personally have any dogs at the moment, I got to call two Labradors and a rowdy little beagle family throughout my childhood, and I now have the joy of calling several dogs of various sizes, shapes, and flavors my nieces and nephews! I have experience sitting for dogs of various breeds and love any opportunity to get a pup outside on a walk or romp around the neighborhood. There's steps to be made, trees to sniff, and squirrels to be suspicious of, so I'm happy to drop in and get your fur babies out for their walk! Whatever your pets’ routines—from feeding and refreshing water, to scooping litter boxes or going for walks, as well as all the playtime and cuddles in between—I am here to ensure they are well cared for and feeling the love. Your pets are your family and caring for them is just as important to me as caring for my own! My day job currently runs till roughly 4:30 p.m. on weekdays, however, my availability beyond that for later afternoon and evening appointments is flexible! I also have plenty of weekend availability, especially during those peak times of the year when summer vacations, fall sports weekends, or holiday travel keep humans at their busiest! I am local to North Side Bethlehem for clients within walking distance and I have reliable transportation for clients outside of walking distance. My two kitties, Howl and Ichabod, spend their days romping around our house, sleeping in sunbeams, and generally causing mischief for their mom and dad! They both often exhibit different activity levels, though, so I am very familiar with the varying needs of cats. Whether your cats like a lot of playtime or simply prefer cozy light snuggles, I will make sure they are feeling safe and cared for! And for my canine clients, I am always ready for some playtime in the yard, a walk around town, or some solid belly rubs! Whatever your pets love and will make them feel most at home is how I want to operate. And as a pet parent who can’t get enough photos of my cats, I know the importance of sending plenty of photos and videos! Consider me your pet’s temporary personal photographer whenever I visit because you’ll definitely get more photos than you know what to do with!

“Megan did a wonderful job taking care of my buns! Consistent check ins- followed instructions- they are usually shy but even came out for treats and photos. Such a great experience-can’t thank her enough! Highly recommend.”

“Marie Louise was excellent and we highly recommend her. Our sweet, shy cat took to her instantly, which is very rare. Food, water, litter, and cat companionship were handled perfectly for the week we were on vacation - we returned to a happy cat. Will not hesitate to book Marie again and again.”

About: I have been pet sitting for over 10 years now. Both cats and dogs. What I love about pet sitting is that I get to provide a safe space for the animals when they’re trusted, owner is away. Just like we as humans need support so do they . With that I am willing to do whatever is necessary to provide the best care. What I do Dog walk or Walk Cat Administered medication if needed Feeding Cleaning up any messes Making sure the animals are safe at all times Playing soothing music to keep the anxiety at all time low or stay quiet.* I will be mindful to their body language* Speak in soft and calm tones to keep the space safe Allow the pet to get to know me so I can build their trust. Take pictures or videos and send daily updates if the owner approves of this. I believe that pets need a trusted person while their owner is away. To do this I try to get the animals undivided attention. I try my best to not have too many things going on in my day so that way I can focus providing my best. If I am pet sitting overnight or for a full day, I’ll be sure to not leave the home for very long. That way it can minimize the pets anxiety. This includes me going to work I will make sure I’ll come right back however, I tend to pet sit on days I don’t have too much going on . It is important that both the pets and pet owners feel safe and comfortable with me . I will monitor body language and stick to the owners bathroom and feeding schedule . I can administer medication if necessary . Crating according to owners wishes. Clean up any messes and keep the environment safe and clean.
“Kirsten quickly responded to my somewhat last minute request. She came over the next day to meet Lucky, and was very responsive throughout the time she spent watching him. When I got back he meowed at the door she would come through, so I’d say he gave her a two paws up review!”

About: Hi there! I’ve been surrounded by animals my whole life. I've owned cats, dogs, and more! I know how important it is to know your pets are in trustworthy hands. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priority! :) I’m currently doing an apprenticeship on a part time basis, so my schedule is quite flexible, especially this summer! I can drop by when needed as long as I have notice. I can tailor care to your pets needs! Have a dog that needs to let out some energy? Let me play fetch with them! Or maybe a cat who just needs some company? I’ll chill with them and refill their food. Just say what you need and I got you.

About: I have always loved dogs! To be honest I can't pass one when I am out for a walk or a drive without saying hello or waving. Dogs are amazing creatures, providing both loyalty and unconditional love to their humans. While I have a great deal of respect for any person who has made the commitment to give a dog in need a forever home, I understand that not all dog lovers can be present 24/7. With that being said, I hope you and your dog will pick me to be your stand-in human. Whether at work or away for the day, I promise your dog lots of love and fun exercise! We’ll be the walk of the town! I am a school-based occupational therapist and am off for the summer, so I’m free morning, afternoon, and evening 7 days a week! I’m a lover of all animals domestic and wild. Your dog (or cat) will have my undivided attention and be treated with the care and respect they deserve, just as I have cared for my own pets.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Wydnor. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
